Wow! I am impressed! While I may have heard of this author in passing, I was unaware of his experience and credentials prior to reading about him now. This is a supportive, rational weight watcher’s dream book! Granted, many of the topics and suggestions are common sense: get enough sleep; exercise counts; stress less. However, the tone of the writing and the beautiful format of the book make it no-your-average-diet-advice book. I loved how he discussed the typical American diet as including excess “blissy foods”- all those processed, pre-made, and snacky things that may give us pleasure for a moment, but wreck our progress and our well-being in the long term. Apparently this book was first published abroad, and is available currently in hardback- but at a premium price. The March 30 debut of an affordable U.S. edition is a date to mark on your calendar!
