I started reading this book and found that it was not for me. I didn't think it was fair to review a book I didn't finish.

I really liked the writing style of the author, but sadly, it felt like I have skipped a few chapters and started reading from rhe middle of a book.

A bit more insight into what was would have come in handy.

This is definitely for fans who appreciate time travel with the twist of history. Because of that, readers has to get into the mindset of that. At times it can be confusing but if you stick to it, I thoroughly believe you'll enjoy this book!

I enjoyed this short story and found it interesting historically speaking, as I did not know the history of Mary Queen of Scots, as well as I do now as a result of reading this story. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for giving me an opportunity to read an advance copy of this story.
