I loved the writing in this book and I feel like it is my favourite book in the series so far.

As always I love the relationship between Safi and Iseult and how they will do anything for the other. While a lot of times I do not enjoy too much politics in novels, I felt as though the politics in these novels to not tend to drag on a much as others and it keeps you invested in the story and wanting more.

The end of this sampler left me wanting more and I cannot wait to see how the rest of the book pans out.

I need more right now! I love this series and can't wait to continue reading when I get my physical copy. Only a few more days to go.

I am absolutely hooked on the sampler and I cannot wait to read the full book! Seeing the world that I’ve fallen in love with as well as the characters is like stepping back into an old kitchen with the people you love. Fans like myself have waited for a very long time for each book from this series. The world is ever expanding. The recurring characters are so rich. I need to reread the other books before the full version of this one is officially in my hands.
I remember fangirling over this series with my best friend in a lounge at uni. I am looking forward o doing the again with her!

I can't wait to know more about Iseul and Safi, two of my favorite main characters in this world!!! And this book is Iseult's and I can hardly wait to get to it! I love how character driven this series are, how amazing the plot is... well... everything!

This does have both a past and a present storyline, which took a second to get used to. But that was a small thing. I loved every second of this (actually pretty large) sampler.
But that cliffhanger was evil. I need the rest!

Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness... I NEED MORE! Ugh, I love book samplers but hate them at the same time as they give you a little taste of the book and readers are dying for more! Witchshadow is no exception! Within the few chapters that I read, I am hooked! I CANNOT wait to get my hand on the full novel to find what happens next! Fantastic read and ugh outstanding sampler!

I cannot wait for this book to come out!! The story Susan Dennard is SOO richly woven and stunning. I love the magic in these books!! And I NEEEEED to know what’s gonna happen with Aeduan! He isn’t fav!!! Well second only to Iseult, who is a badass by the way!

I can't wait till this hits the shelves this summer! Such an underrated series!!

Oh wow! YA fantasy books are relatively new to me, and this character-driven series is really setting the bar high! It was so exciting to get a taste of this descriptive story and I cannot wait to read the full book!

This was a really great sampler! It was much longer than I expected, but I was so thankful for it! I really enjoy The Witchlands series and was super excited to continue on with the series. It was a little annoying that I got super invested in this and then the sample was over, but I'm happy that I only have about a month-and-a-half to wait for the full book.

I cannot wait to read this! Iseult is my favorite character of all time and it was great getting a taste of this story and I am so excited to continue on

I CANNOT WAIT to read the rest of this book! These first few chapters start off on the ground running, 1-2 months after the events of Bloodwitch. It seems Safi’s scheming has already caused A LOT to happen within that timeframe (per usual). Safi is now alone in Cartorra as Iseult + Owl are forced to flee when their plans backfire. Vivia + Vaness are desperately looking for allies, and Ryber + Stix are looking for answers. Iseult is my favorite character and I am so excited to see what this installment has in store for the whole gang. Within just a few chapters Dennard is already weaving an intricate, layered plot - and I’m excited to see new banter/relationships form between the characters with these new pairings in this book.
