This was a very short and fast read. Some things i liked were Zizy and Laysa’s bond, it kept developing all throughout the book !Clear from my rating, i did not enjoy this book. The writing style itself was a bit boring as and did not have a hold on me as i read through, but it IS accessible, just not something that captivated me. It was a lot of meandering and no plot. The lack of character depth kept me uninterested and bored and while it was a new world, the world building aspects were not intricate or well defined. I really don’t have much to say about this book, its not a book i hated or despised or found faults and issues of, its just not a book i enjoyed.

This book left me wanting more, but not in a good way. I didn’t like the character development (lack of), or how it ended at all. It simply wasn’t my cup of tea - and I do enjoy a good fantasy. With that being said I only gave this book 2/5 because it just left me with too many questions. I spent most of the book confused. I was glad it was a short book coming in at only 170 pages. It still took me longer to read than a novel twice as long. Oh well, onto the next book!!!
