This book is so cute and fun! It felt like a warm hug while reading it. The story was adorable and I liked both of the main characters. I liked the emails back and forth and liked the chemistry between Teddy and Everett. I really liked this one and it is definitely on par with her other books!
This is the perfect book for a pick me up or an in between thrillers read. It's cozy and comforting in so many great ways. The characters are likable and story gives you all the feels. It's such a great rom-com that you don't want to finish because you are sad once it's over.
This is going to sound biased right out the gate, But I love Kerry Winfrey’s books, This one probably moreso than Waiting For Tom Hanks.
I liked the development of Teddy, and how throughout the book she gained self confidence and figured out more of who she was, and that didn’t rely on a man or a relationship.
This book had more laugh out loud moments, more “I wish I had friends like that” and “Why are there so many puppets?”
If you’re looking for a cute fun read, with some fun moments this is the one for you!

If you’re looking for a super cozy and cute rom com with fade-to black love scenes, you need this in your life.
This book does take place in the same “world” as Winfrey’s previous two romcoms, but unlike Not Like the Movies (which you definitely need to read Waiting for Tom Hanks first), this can be read as a stand-alone. But if you have read both if those, you’ll enjoy the cameos!
I've been a huge fan of Kerry Winfrey's since reading Waiting for Tom Hanks. Her newest release Very Sincerely Yours is super cute and I really enjoyed it. While I didn't love it as much as I did Waiting for Tom Hanks and Not Like the Movies, it's still full of her signature wit and humour and sweet and lovable characters. I loved the You've Got Mail vibes and the huge comparison to Mister Rogers — it's unique and really enjoyable.
I'm definitely a fan of Kerry Winfrey and can't wait to see what she comes out with next! My full review will be posted on my blog soon :)

Thank you berkley romance for a gifted free copy of this book. This one is out now!
I loved the homage this one paid to Mister Rogers! It’s a cross between Mister Rogers and You’ve Got Mail. I thought it was super cute. If you are looking for a closed door romance filled with wit and charm this one is a perfect pick!
“Very Sincerely Yours” is a sweet romantic comedy that hits all the right moments. I loved the growth that Teddy experienced throughout the book. She is not the first person to lose her identity in her relationship, making her so relatable. She is also trying to figure out what she wants from her life, and it's a daunting journey.
I also thought that Everette was such a likable character. I enjoyed that he gave Teddy room to grow while also allowing himself to see his life differently. He had his character growth despite only being the love interest.
There were some laugh-out-loud moments and some cringy moments. But my favorite of all is when Everette figures it all out. “Very Sincerely Yours” was such a fun read and a break from the weighty books out there. It is also a wonderful reminder that there's no time limit to figuring out what you want to be when you grow up.
Thank you NetGalley, Berkley Publishing Group, and Kerry Winfrey for the ARC.
Kerry Winfrey always t delightfully sweet and upbeat RomComs and VERY SINCERELY YOURS is exactly that! There is not too much angst or drama, just a sweet beach read.
Both Teddy and Everett are likable characters, although Teddy's low self esteem can sometimes be frustrating to repeatedly read.
This is a very slow burn romance with a mostly uneventful first half of the book. But the story finally pics up and the reader gets a satisfying and swoony HEA.
Very Sincerely Yours is a GEM of a book. By far, my favorite Kerry Winfrey title. I love a book with correspondence and the relationship in this book starts via email and eventually blossoms into real life. I love a book where the relationship doesn't begin at the end of the story but you get to see how these two people you're so invested in are as a couple. This book gives you the flirty fun of getting together and deeper story of staying together. I love that.
I was excited for this one because I loved the author’s last two books with all the romcom movie references and the cute story storylines. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a big fan of this one.
Teddy Phillips works at a vintage toy store, a job that she enjoys but doesn’t love and lives with her boyfriend, Richard. Richard unexpectedly dumps her and to cheer her up she movies in with her friends and looks to her guilty pleasure, Everett St. James, her crush that hosts a local children’s TV show. Out of character Teddy starts emailing Everett for advice and soon her and Everett are corresponding every day. Over email their interests spark and eventually they meet in person.
This book had major You’ve Got Mail vibes, with the emailing back and forth. I found the book slow, and I felt like the chemistry between Teddy and Everett wasn’t there. I was more interested in reading about Teddy going out and having fun with her roommates then I was about Teddy and Everett. I did enjoy seeing Teddy grow as a character and her figuring out what she wanted in life.
Thank you NetGalley and Berkley for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
Well Kerry Winfrey has done it again. I finished this book in 3 sittings, which is fast for me.
It was such a nice cleanser after all the heavy books I have been reading this month. There is something about her books with the nostalgia, humor, and food that warms my heart everytime and I can't help but to devour them. But then I am sad because I want more.
This book was rom com perfection. It was like reading a Hallmark movie. Teddy and Everett were just the thing I needed this week.
This book is for anyone who loves to laugh, who still doesn't know what they want to be when they grow up, who ever gave their all to someone who took you for granted, or who loves that HEA!!

Thoughts: I became a fan of Kerry Winfrey's work when I read her first book, Waiting for Tom Hanks, so I was excited to have the opportunity to read her latest, Very Sincerely Yours. This book isn't tied into Winfrey's first two books, so don't worry if you haven't read those before diving into this one. VSY centers around Teddy, a young woman figuring out her life after her dermatologist boyfriend breaks up with her. After spending years doting on him and letting others dictate her life, Teddy finds herself lost without any sense of direction and with no idea on how to make decisions for herself. Thankfully, she has two amazing best friends to help her along, as well as her TV crush, Everett St. James. Everett is a successful TV show actor and creator, hosting his own children's puppet program on the local network. On TV, he's patient, kind, and big-hearted, so on a whim Teddy decides to email him about her problems. And so begins an adorable email relationship! But while some reviews have compared this story to the movie You've Got Mail, this is where the similarities end. There's not much subterfuge here -- Everett and Teddy meet in person relatively early on, so the romantic tension is cut pretty soon. What stems from this, though, is a realistic look at how new relationships (even seemingly loving and "successful" ones) have to navigate life changes and self-discoveries. I honestly thought this story was really sweet and refreshing in its premise, but there were just some aspects that kept me from loving it. First, I didn't think it was as funny as Waiting for Tom Hanks. Second, I felt like Teddy's two best friends almost overshadowed her in the book -- they were so likable and funny, providing the perfect comedic touch, and it left Teddy looking even more bland in my opinion. Lastly, there was an interesting side plot with Teddy's relationship to her sister that I wished had been explored a bit more, at least on the resolution side of things. But I have to say that I absolutely loved the conflict scene between Everett and another male character -- it was truly an LOL moment and probably my favorite part of the entire book. VSY is worth the read, just not my favorite of Winfrey's work. But I do look forward to her next book!

I was in need of a cute romance and I find it!This one was exactly what I needed!I enjoyed this lighthearted and sweet read.
It was enjoyable! Teddy is nearly thirty, working at a toy store, and still isn't quite sure what she wants to do with her life. When her boyfriend invited her to dinner, Teddy thought he was going to propose. She never expected to be dumped .
I absolutely loved that the email theme throughout the story.
Teddy and Everett had a great relationship and they make me smile!
This was such a fun and entertaining book to read.
Teddy is at a crossroads. Her longtime boyfriend just dumped her, her family is well-meaning but meddling, and she likes her job at a vintage toy shop but it's not her passion. So with the help of her best friends, she writes a list of things she's scared to do, and starts to cross them off one at a time. One of those things is writing a letter to her favorite local celebrity, a children's TV show host named Everett. Even though she doesn't have kids, Teddy finds his homemade puppets and honest advice to children comforting. Much to her surprise, Everett writes back, and the two strike up an email friendship that could blossom into something more.
This was an incredibly sweet story. Everett and Teddy are complex and interesting characters, both basically decent, and the tension comes from figuring out if they can fit their respective goals and ambitions into one another's lives. This is a closed-door romance and should appeal to fans of relationship fiction, too. The secondary characters who fill out the world are entertaining and grounded.
Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review. All opinions are my own.
Very Sincerely Yours is a sweet, fun, easy read that is a great distraction from heavier books. I would consider this a great palate cleanser or a great beach read.
Kerry Winfrey has written a book about friendship, work-life balance, life goals, dreams, family, and love. This started a bit slow for me but then it picked up. There is an element of sweet romance. It was nice to read a clean romance that wasn't trashy.
Teddy is approaching thirty and isn't sure what she wants to do in her life. Her long-time boyfriend breaks up with her when she assumes he is going to propose marriage. This throws Teddy in to a tailspin of self-discovery.
Amidst the sweet romance, is some great life advice.
I will definitely be watching for future releases from Winfrey.
When I finished reading this book I was kind of torn about my rating. The first half of the book I was feeling so excited about the connection between Teddy and Everett through their emails and couldn’t wait for them to finally meet. The way that they connected in person was so cute and I was thrilled to see how it would would play out. Unfortunately, it felt like the pacing of the story changed from that moment forward and I kind of felt like their relationship, the conflict and the resolution all happened so quickly that I felt sort of cheated about getting time with them actually together.
Initially I wanted to rate the book lower than the 4 stars that I ended up with because I just wanted MORE of Everett and Teddy as a couple. However, as I thought about it more, I kind of concluded that, as much as this story was the romance between them, is was also about Teddy’s growth as a person and as much as I loved the romance, the growth was essentially more important to their HEA.
As strictly a romance I would rate this 3 stars, despite my undying love for Everett as the hero. As women’s fiction and strictly on the writing style, I am sticking to my 4 star review.

Call me a Dissenter.
Truth be told, I went into this book with the HIGHEST of hopes. I adored “Waiting for Tom Hanks” and liked “Not Like the Moves” the predecessors to “Very Sincerely Yours” by Kerry Winfrey and thought this premise sounded totes adorbs.
Unfortunately, the delivery simply didn’t hold a candle to the premise.
Everett is the host of a popular children’s tv show and appears to have everything: a career, friends, and an incredible family, but he can’t help but feel like something is missing.
Teddy works in a toy store at almost thirty years old. As of yet, she has not found her life’s passion. What she loves, however, is taking care of her boyfriend Richard. When he dumps her, she is beside herself. Her only solace is watching a local children’s tv show hosted by Everett, who is kind, caring, and extremely good-looking.
When Teddy’s boyfriend dumps her, and she can’t figure out what to do with her life, she writes into Everett’s show. The rest is history.
I know, I know, it sounds, “totes adorbs” right? And so many parts of it were, and yet it left me shaking my head. The reason, in a nutshell? Teddy’s character. At thirty years old she was extremely immature, having no direction or sense of self. Teddy acted even younger than Everett’s twelve-year-old sister! Strong female characters are what I look for when it comes to novels, be it fiction, rom-com, or any other genres and sadly, this book missed the mark.
While I didn’t love the character of Teddy, the writing here is entertaining and admittedly, I tore through the novel quickly, eager to get to the sweet, albeit predictable end. Though this wasn’t my favorite of Ms. Winfrey’s novels, I can’t wait for her next release.
A buddy read with Kaceey.

Published on Goodreads and Twitter.
This novel was a little more slow going for me. It was about 100 pages in before the main characters were even connected so I kept waiting for romance to ensue and it took a long time. There were fun quirky backgrounds with a toy store and a puppet show, but I can't say that the quirkiness drew me in more than any another book. Romance was pretty soft which is great for some readers but I didn't feel much chemistry between them.
cute romance, i didn’t expect to like this that much because i hadn’t heard too many good things about the authors previous books but i wanted to be as unbiased as possible and i enjoyed this
In the day and age of advanced technology where writing letters is very rare, I found the email exchange between Teddy and Everett very refreshing and genuinely enjoyed reading their emails where they poured their hearts out!
Thank you Berkley Publishers and Netgalley for providing me an advance digital copy in exchange of my honest review!
Teddy who has always lived her life by following others and never standing up for herself transforms her outlook in life through finding what makes her happy. Teddy’s friends make a plan for her to do one thing a day that scares her the most.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading how Teddy learns to say no to her ex who was treating her as his assistant and not his girlfriend. Teddy has a crush on Everett James, host of children’s show called Everett Place, where he helps children with expressing emotions and feelings. She writes an email to him for guidance and they become pen pal exchanging emails before meeting in person. The humor and vulnerability shared by Teddy and Everett was very refreshing and heart stirring!
This book released on June 15th and you gotta have it in your beach pool bag for perfect summer reading!
