This was the best one of the bunch and I absolutely adored the Russian. I loved the marriage of convenience trope and the cameos from all our favorite people. The mutual pining in this one also killed me and it was so (wonderfully) painful to watch this two do so much for the betterment of the other without ever expressing their feelings. I truly never thought it was going to end but their happily ever after is definitely worth the torture.

Isn't it Bromantic? is one of those books that I was so excited to read that I kept putting off reading it. I even bought myself a finished copy, even though I had the eARC waiting for me on my kindle. I finally got to reading it and I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. The Bromance Book Club was a really good, original book, but the next two in the series I wasn't a fan of. Finally we get to learn more about Vlad and his story and it did not disappoint. This book was honestly everything. It had some hilarious moments and some sweet moments. This book was just so, so good. This is definitely one of those books that I can read again and again and never get sick of!

*3.5* This is my favorite book of the series so far! Vlad is the perfect teddy bear to Elena's strength and vulnerability and watching them overcome their miscommunications was not painful, which is not something I often can say about books with the miscommunication trope! While I was still exasperated at times with the lack of action taken by characters (something that's bugged me in most of Adams' books in this series), the tender relationship they share was worth it in the end. We see the same lovable cast of characters we've gotten to know over the course of the series, there's a ridiculously serious height of conflict that seems strange to drop in this book, and there's a very weird underground/black market cheesemonger featured. If that's not enough to entice you to read, I don't know what is!

Thanks to Berkley and Netgalley for the ARC!

I absolutely loved this book! I was so engrossed by the characters right off the bat. Lyssa Kay Adams' writing is out of this world, if you've been in a reading slump this is a great place to start, it absolutely blew me away!

📖 "Isn't it Bromantic" by @lyssakayadams

🎉 OUT TODAY: July 20, 2021 🎉

I got this ARC back in April and the second I got the email, I read it. And let me tell you... I read it in less than 3 hours. Probably the fastest I've ever read a book in my life.
IT'S THAT GOOD.

As much as I loved the first three novels, this is by far MY FAVORITE.

✍🏻Vlad, what a brilliant character. He was always the character that intrigued me the most in the last three Bromance novels. He is such a kindhearted individual and even when they made a mockery of his ((ahem)) digestive issues, he always had a hug in his backpocket for his bros when they needed it. Diving into his backstory was something I was excited about but not prepared for. Vlad's heart and mind, it jumped from the pages and seriously tugged at my heartstrings.
A FREAKING CINNAMON ROLL.

It was like my heart got ripped out then sewn back in through the pages of this book. My heart ached and sighed for the Russian. For Elena.

🔍Elena... She had such a strong presence in this book. Her whole character arc in this was so well written. What a beautiful character. I can't say much without giving away the plot, but I promise you that you will love her as much as Vlad.

I wrote this on my story once before after reading this novel and I'll write it once again, "The Gentle Giant and The Warrior Princess" - could be another name for this book. What a perfect pair.

💕Thank you @lyssakayadams once again for being so careful in your representation of the immigration system.

🙏🏻 I am begging you to please put The Loners in more books.

🙌🏻 I can't wait for Colton's book!

Thank you, Lyssa, @netgalley and @berkleyromance for sending me an ARC of this wonderful novel.

I can't recommend it enough!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Looking up Russian dishes will be your friend whilst reading this adorable book. I am a lover of Russian food and have made a few of the items discussed in my own home. Reading about them brought such comfort.

More comfort ensued as I continued learning more about the men of the Bromance Book Club in this fourth installment. I have always had a soft spot for the "Russian" Vlad and was so pleased that he got his own story with his mysterious wife.

Elena was a breath of fresh air. I ADORED her and independent spirit. She was so caring.

Adams has put a secondary story of romance in each of these books and I loved what she did with this one. Having the guys help create the story was just perfection.

This was great and I loved it. Thank you Berkley and Netgalley for the eArc.

The latest book in Lyssa Kay Adams Bromance Book Club series did not disappoint.

In this installment with Isn’t It Bromantic we have Vlad, The Russian sexy hockey player with a big heart and a love for cheese.
I loved revisiting the characters from the previous books.
The book club guys are yet again getting together for reading and not only helping Vlad write one but also helping him get his wife back. The banter is funny, sweet and steamy. This one had a few of my favorite tropes within a trope.
Without a doubt one of my favorite series.

I love this book and this insight into The Russian's life. Elena is precious and I love their story of best-friends to marriage-of-convienence to real-lovers, all while having outside stakes. I like how this book brought all the characters together again and showed how much they really do care for one another. If you've read the first three, definitely don't forget this one - Cheese Man won't let you forget it.

I was looking forward to the Russians book and it didn’t disappoint. It was the most bromantic. That is def a slow burn with a second chance romance that has many heartfelt moments. The crew is back and they all came out in spades to help Vlad finally win back his wife. There’s also a side story as the rest of the series that brought it to a thrilling end. Vlad and Elena were childhood friends who entered a marriage of convenience. Time hasn’t been good to them and an accident forces them into close quarters once again. As the examine where they left they realize there were many things left unsaid. There’s plenty of hilarious moments as well as new characters that add a lot of dimension to the story

I am SO excited when I found out our dear Russian was getting his own book. He was a grown favorite from the very first time he was mentioned and as we grew to knew him in each accompanying book, it just seemed like there was more we needed to know. I loved that even though he plays one of the roughest sports around, he was so soft and caring. He and Elena had a lot to work through in this book but I still cherished every minute.

Lyssa Kay Adams can do no wrong, this was another K N O C K O U T !!!! I’m so happy I finally got to read the Russians story.

This was everything I wanted and so much more. I've always loved the Russian. Vlad was always such an important part of the story to me, but I always felt like I just couldn't wait to dive deeper into his story and learn more about him - and this book gave me just that. If you liked the first three installments of the Bromance Book Club, I bet, like me, you won't be able to put this one down. All of the stars.

Another great installment in the Bromance Book Club series - with, as usual, some great pep talks from previous protagonists, a nod to some serious current issues, and a great Grand Gesture from both main characters to wrap it all up.

5 stars for Isn’t it Bromantic? by @lyssakayadams! This is the fourth installment of the Bromance Book Club series and I think it’s my favorite. I was really hoping we would get the Russian’s story and it did not disappoint! Part childhood friend, part arranged marriage of sorts, part forced proximity… you could think it could get over-tropey, but it all worked. Every last bit. I don’t know if Lyssa is planning any more installments (Colton totally needs one though), but it’s going to be tough to top this one.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Romance for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Another charming romance in this series by Lyssa Kay Adams! This one is focused on Vlad aka "The Russian". Sweet, funny, mysterious...definitely worth reading.

I loved this story! I started out unsure of a marriage in crisis but should have known that once again Lyssa Kay Adams would deliver. I featured the series here: https://www.tiktok.com/@spicybooks/video/6997476920904469765?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1 and am already planning a few more lists to include Isn't It Bromantic and the entire series!

I was so excited to read this! Vlad of course was someone I wanted to know more about and I’m so happy we got that! This story was so interesting to me (there was a book within this story too) learning about Elena and Vlad and her backstory was just amazing. Not communicating is a bit of a pet peeve of mine and there were a few points in the story I was like c’mon but even with that I LOVED the story. The ending was suspenseful and there are so many characters I would want to read more about! I love this series.

Lyssa Kay Adams has given us another wonderful installment of the Bromance Bookclub. Book 4 features everyone's favorite side character, The Russian! We learn that The Russian is more than just comic relief and lactose intolerance. He is head over-heels in love with his wife of six years. The only problem? They entered a marriage of convenience and so far have only kissed ONCE! The bookclub gets together to give Vlad and Elena a chance to be more than just a green card union.
This series is truly fantasy romance in my opinion! Men reading romance novels to learn more about women. It's what dreams are made of!

I have read all the other books in this series and I enjoyed this one just as much! I’m always happy to get to go back into an established world and always look forward to hanging out with these characters.

ISN’T IT BROMANTIC? by Lyssa Kay Adams is a fantastic romance! This fourth book in the Bromance Book Club series follows Vlad (the Russian) who wants to make his wife, Elena, love him. I loved that we finally get to focus on Vlad because he is so charming and deserves his own HEA! He’s a true romantic at heart and loved that the book within the book this time is the romance novel that Vlad is writing. I loved the trope of marriage of convenience in this novel as Vlad married his best friend Elena so she could go to college in America but they secretly have feelings for each other. It was so sweet how their romance unfolded and the side character the cheese man made for some good humour. This is now my fave book in the series and I’m really hoping there’s going to be a book five!!
