I received this book for an honest review from netgalley #netgalley
A simple but fun read. Not overly complex but still magical in its own right.

I was really anxious to see what Marci Bolden would put out after her last series that was so emotional that it destroyed me. I knew whatever she wrote was going to be great. I was right!
The Restarting Point is still emotional, but it has as many light moments as it does intensely emotional.
The main character, Jade, has had a heck of year. She beat cancer only to be beaten up by her personal life shortly thereafter. As she faces some hard times, she makes a couple of unusual women friends along the way. They offer her support as she struggles to find her place in the world once more. The three women encourage each other as more of their lives come to light.
There's also Liam. He's a hunk that likes to flirt--not what Jade needs right now. As they fuss at each other, Jade discovers Liam may be helpful and an emotional support she wasn't expecting. Could there be more between them somewhere down the road?
Another lovely Bolden book highlighting the strength of the human spirit when life sucks. I really love the unlikely friendship between the three women. I CAN'T WAIT for the next book in the series to come out!
Thank you to Pink Sands Press and NetGalley for the free book. All thoughts are my own.

What a delightfully enjoyable starting point. I loved the location, my imagination was on overtime, Jade is in remission, Darby is a character and Taylor is the level headed one of the trio. One summer on the lake three women who are each a little bit broken but survivors become the best of friends.
I am hoping that each of them will have a book that tells their backstory.

This was the first time that I read a book by Marci Bolden, and I really liked it! All the women were different, but still very likable and I was invested in them. Chammont Point sounds like a lovely place and just what Jade needed for a start-over. This book is warm, sweet and all about friendship! A great summer read.
It's a 4 star for me.

The Restarting Point is such a heartfelt beautiful read. I love that Marci Bolden gives us these fabulous female leads that form a bond and a beautiful friendship together. Darcy will put a smile on your face with her laid back ways. Taylor is more the voice of reason of the group. That just leaves Jade the mama bear of the group. This is Jades book and be prepared for an array of emotions that will follow as Jade takes back her life and starts over in the small town of Chammont Point. You will go through so many emotions with Jade from anger to grief and finally the sense of peace. Jade is amazingly strong as she faces this new adventure of her life. You will fall in love with this small town and the cast of characters. I so cannot wait for more from Chammont Point series.

Loved this book! Jade Kelly has beaten cancer and is ready to tackle life again. She realizes that she has not been the wife and mother she should have been. She has pit her job first and needs to remedy that. She plans a beach getaway to reconnect with her husband and two sons. They all bail on her so she goes alone.. the cottage is not what she expected and after a minor accident she heads home. But she discovers that her husband is involved with someone else and wants a divorce. She is devastated and heads back to the beach devasted from learning that her husband only stayed with her because of her cancer. Her landlord Darcy and Taylor the person repairing the cottage sense her need and they become her friends and help her through the struggles she is having. Can she heal from this and move on?

This was a five-star book. Once I started reading it, I had a difficult time putting it down. Secrets, lies and family members who have grown away from each other over time blend together to make this a great read.. Don’t pass this book by! Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this advanced reader copy. The opinions are my own.

This is book one in The Chammont Point Series and it is Jade's story. Jade is a cancer survivor and after all her treatment she decided to take a break but when she hurts her ankle and decided to go home early she was not expecting to find her husband with another woman and him telling her that he is leaving as he has found someone else so she I so angry and heartbroken that she decides to go back to the cabin at Chammont Point to 're evaluate her life and decide what to do next. Even though Jade is broken and angry after her husband's betrayal that had been going on for a long time even before her cancer she has made two really special friend's Darby and Taylor in Chammont Point who are there for her and really supportive of her but what will happen when Jade has to go home to an empty house. I couldn't put this book down and I had to keep turning the pages and it was so addictive. Omg what a great start to a new series by Marci Bolden who is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's on the edge of there seats and I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens next after such a wow of a cliff hanger. I definitely recommend you read this book but just remember that it is not a standalone book.
I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Amazing Book.

A really good read about friendships and starting over. Great character development. I’m glad this is a series and really looking forward to the next book. Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for the ARC

The Restarting Point by Marci Bolden is the story of Jade, who after years of being the main breadwinner in her family has a serious cancer scare. When she recovers she schedules a family vacation, but when neither her husband or children want to go with her, she goes on her own. She leaves for home early only to discover her husband, who had been so supportive, is leaving her and had been cheating on her during her entire illness. This sets her on a journey of self-discovery as she decides what she wants from life and where to go next.
Marci Bolden has a way with creating characters that you truly enjoy and root for. Jade is one of those characters. As she teams up with two other women who need a support structure, they are able to provide that for each other and rise above their circumstances. These three women are wonderful together and are the backbone of the story, which is how it should be. Although they think they do, they don't need men to support or validate them. I enjoyed this novel, as I have every one of Bolden's novels and look forward to the next one!
Thank you to the author, Pink Sand Press and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

This light romance was well-written, and full of the joy of friendship. I found the story line a bit predictable, however. Maybe I’ve been reading too many romances but I could see it all coming. Thoroughly enjoyed it though!
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was a pretty easy read with likable, quirky characters who come together and become fast friends and family. There were some sad moments, especially with Jade (some of which happened before the story started). But, each of the women had some issues that they had to deal with along with characteristics that the others envied. They were all different with different personalities but meshed very well. Darby, who was very open and expressed herself in a very flamboyant way, never felt like she belonged anywhere. Taylor, who came in strong and opinionated, had some self doubts. At a different time in their lives, they might not have let the others in and would have missed out on their beautiful friendship.

I got really excited when I saw Marci Bolden’s new book on Netgalley, because I read her last series and really enjoyed how heartfelt and emotional it was. I enjoyed her writing style. And though this one didn’t hit me the way that series did, I still enjoyed the story.
Jade is a successful career woman who has supported her husband and two sons by working hard and advancing in her field until she is diagnosed with cancer. She survives and goes into remission only to have her husband leave her for another woman while she is on what was supposed to be a family vacation at the lake. She decides to stay at the cabin and sort through her feelings and figure out what her future holds, and while she does, she makes new friends and realizes that maybe this was all for the best and she can have the life she truly wants, not just settle for what she has had for 20 years.
This was a story about a strong woman and I liked the friends that were made-they were all quirky in their own Ways, but they were also incredibly supportive of each other and determined to not let life beat them down.
I read it all in one sitting and I think it’ll make a great summer read.
Thanks to Pink Sand Press and Netgalley for this Arc in exchange for my review.

Jade's last year has been rough. After beating a cancer she was ready to share a vacation with her husband. Only his plans weren't the same as Jade's. After arriving alone at the cabin she'd rented, she spent the most unexpected week of her life, knew peculiar and beautiful people and discovered new beginnings.
I liked this book very much. The characters are adorable and the author managed their feelings in a positive way. It's not my first book from this author and it will not be the last.
Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

The cabin is not what Andie was looking for. The cabin in the pictures was larger and sleeker. Jade is married to Nick. She use to have cancer.

I loved this book. The characters were so much fun, especially Darby. While you feel sorry for Jade and what she is going through , you can't help but laugh at the antics of Darby and Taylor. I highly recommend it and can't wait for the sequel.

The Restarting Point is a very enjoyable book and the first in a series. Jade is not only a cancer survivor but is trying to start over after her husband has left her. While on vacation in Chammont Point she meets Darby and Taylor. They become friends and soon realizes everyone has hard times to over come at some point in life. I love the description of the small town and all the people who live there. I'm looking forward the next book in this series. Thanks to the author Marci Bolden, publisher Pink Sand Press, and NetGalley for providing a copy of this book for a honest review.

I enjoyed this book. It’s the first in a series, and the author is getting off to a good start. The book description provides a good overview of the plot, so I will skip past that. The characters in this book all have very interesting and unique personalities, and as the book progresses, their backstories are revealed. My takeaway from this story is that despite the difficulties we face, we can move past them, learn from them, and grow into better people. This can happen despite the fact that we are frequently getting in our own way. We also need people who love us to help us to see how to make these changes. I really enjoyed the characters. All of them were flawed, but they truly worked hard to help the themselves and the people they loved. Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

The title of this book is just perfect!
Jade needs a new start! She is a survivor, but has been hit hard.
She has had multiple life traumas that scream "It Is Time for a Do Over in Your Life"!
She takes a vacation to help her unwind, and hopefully find what she needs to do to enjoy her time on this earth.
The lake house is small, quaint and in desperate need of repair, but she meets the best people that can and will help her. Will she take their advise?
Stay tuned!
I adore Marci Bolden's novels!
They are warm, cozy and definitely always a beautiful story to enjoy with a life lesson we can all to take away!
I cannot wait until book 2 in the "Chammont Point Book series comes!
