My kids love @JohnCena. Like, I had this book out of its package for literally 2.5 second before all three of them were claiming who got to read it first (spoiler: I did). I love the encouragement John pours into this short book. Encouragement like — be who you are, make the world a better place, and never stop working hard (and to celebrate). I loved the message to celebrate (I have a really hard time stopping and celebrating whenever I accomplish anything). It’s not a long read (thankfully because I had only just turned the last page before it disappeared and the kids claimed it).

If you know anyone who is needing a little encouragement and pick me up, I highly recommend this book!
“Stay true to what you believe in.
Be patient.
Know that you will fail.
Be accountable.
Embrace the uncomfortable.
Get back up.”
This is the perfect inspirational book for any kid. There are so many robots of wisdom in here and I really want my son to think about a lot of the things in here. A perfect gift for a teen!
I’m happy to be able to review and share this adorable book on release day! My 12yo son is a big John Cena fan, as are my husband and I, so I knew immediately I wanted to review Do Your Best Every Day to Do Your Best Every Day when I heard about it. Since the sentiments in the book come from John’s Twitter feed, they are perfect, bite-sized nuggets of wisdom that are easy for kids to understand and internalize. I wanted to pick out a favorite but found it was actually difficult, because they’re all so good! But I think if I had to choose it would be this one: “We all struggle. You don’t need to struggle alone. Asking for help is not weakness.” I’d choose that one because it’s actually something I have to remind my own self of over and over, and apparently a reluctance to ask for help is something I have passed on to my son, so it’s important for him to know this as well. This delightful book covers the importance of being true to oneself, leaning on friends and family, failing and making mistakes, giving your all to important tasks, and engaging in active listening and empathy. Each page contains an important lesson, accompanied by Ms. Harrison’s charming, whimsical illustrations. Also, there is great diversity represented in the illustrations, so any child can find themselves on these pages.
I think this will become one of those books that becomes a go-to gift for kids, like Dr. Seuss’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! and Pete the Cat’s Groovy Guide to Life by James and Kimberly Dean. I would recommend this for every library and every kid - or kid at heart! - in your life.
Rating: 5 stars!

When I saw that John Cena had a book I was super excited! I’ve been a fan since his wrestling days and now my family love watching his movies. My kids are a bit obsessed with him.
This book is beautiful!
I absolutely love that it’s full of encouraging words. I think it’s something a lot of kids need and coming from a role model is even better.
The illustrations are gorgeous and full of diversity.
I think this book deserves a place in all classrooms and libraries. Highly recommend it.
I loved this book, and it has so much fun for all ages to feel motivated and inspired! I *MAY* have heard many of the words on the pages in his voice and just enjoyed being able to share this one with my kiddos who have been seeing dad watch him on tv lately which was a bonus! I found this such a fun collection of tweets, and the illustrations were just INCREDIBLE. All together a must have!
