All in all this was a good introduction to the importance of microbes and our guts, but it wasn't new information for me. There are a few other books on the topic that I personally prefer, but this was a great introduction.

As a science teacher, I enjoyed the content of this book. It was written at a level that most people could easily understand and I particularly enjoyed the chapter on microbes in space. My rating is low though because there are pages where the text is over busy pages and/or have very low contrast with the background and this made reading those pages almost impossible. This doesn't seem acceptable from a professional publication.
