Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of THE INN AT TANSY FALLS by Cate Woods in exchange for an honest review. Nell Swift has been slowly losing herself for years. Now, Nell has lost her best friend, Megan, to cancer. Megan, however, had a plan. Nell has to honor her friend’s last request. As a result, Nell boards a plane for the United States for a trip to Tansy Falls, Vermont, where she will follow the itinerary set for her by Megan. As Megan posthumously introduces Nell to her hometown, Nell finds more than just strangers in a strange land.

I liked this book and recommend it to fans of women’s fiction. This seems to be first in a possible series of connected books.

This was my first book by this author but it will not be my last. I really enjoyed this book and following Nell as she travels from England to fulfill her best friends last wishes. I loved the characters and watching Nell fall in love with the town and the people there.

Started out a little slow for me, but the farther I got into the story I was hooked. Nell's best friend Megan dies from cancer, and sends her on a two week trip to Vermont for a full itinerary of places and people to visit. This was where Megan spent summers as a kid, and wanted Nell to experience it too. Much different than her small lonely apartment in London. Meeting Jackson and his son Joe, and Mallory and Darlene plus the rest of the small town was great. I like the path Megan sent her down, and things she learned along the way. Like the idea of leaving the comfort zone, and learning to live life. Highly recommend this book and author. Well worth the read.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
I absolutely loved this book. It didn’t move too fast and the story was built with lots of detail that focused on the lives of this small town. The author made you feel really invested in their lives.
I do love the ending of course, I just wish there was a little more meetings between Nell and Jackson to bring their story out a little more.
Great read!

A really enjoyable story. Nell is headed from London to Tansy Falls in the US to fulfill her best friend's last wish - to scatter her ashes over the mountain of her childhood memories. Megan has written out a 2 week itinerary for Nell -- including all her favorite spots and townsfolk. Nell follows along for the two weeks and has all kinds of discoveries and meets some incredible people. There is a letter at the end of her 2 week journey, a surprise from Meg that will change her life.

It's a bittersweet, easy read - you want to keep following Nell around the town and can really "see" the sites in the author's descriptions. Looks to be the beginning of a series, I'd like to continue reading.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for a temporary digital ARC for my review.

Absolutely loved this book, read it in one sitting, loved the storyline and that Nell was sent off in an adventure at the request of her dearly departed friend who sadly passed with cancer
Loved Tansy Falls and all the characters in it and almost felt as if I was there myself, the descriptions of Tansy Falls was brilliant and it sounds like a perfect escape
Megan's voice definitely came across the pages beautifully, a book that will give you a range of emotions and a happy ending, I really hope there is another book to follow from this as I would love to read more about what lies ahead for Nell and the others

A sweet story about Nell, a young woman fulfilling her best friends last request. We meet Tansy Falls, and the Vermont town is the perhaps the biggest character. I enjoyed the story though I hate books that leave so much to a sequel, which is my main complaint

I don't think I could have loved this book more. Its simply so so beautiful.
Nell loses her best friend Megan to cancer at an early age and then receives instructions to visit Tansy Falls to scatter her ashes and follow her very strict itinerary.
Nell meets some very intriguing, scary, rude, fascinating and just plain lovely people within the area.
Its full of nostalgia as Megan's voice appears throughout the book, but also full of loss, hope, wishes and dreams.
A real mix of emotions went through me reading this. I giggled, I was intrigued, I got angry but *disclaimer* do have the tissues at the ready. I can't remember the last time I cried at a book but this was so beautifully written it got me. Don't let that you put you off though, everything else about it more than makes up for it.
The setting is the perfect back drop to escapism, and I think in the current time, sadly most of us recognise that feeling of losing a loved one.
I cannot praise this book highly enough.

I loved, loved, loved this story!! This is the perfect read for fans of Robyn Carr who perhaps like a little less steam in their reads. The author describes the beautiful small town so wonderfully that I almost wished I could get on a plane and visit it. The characters are all so warm and loveable that you feel as though you're getting a big hug just reading about them. I'm hoping the author will write more set in this town as I'd love to read more, and hopefully have snapshots of where there characters in this book end up. 100% would recommend!!
