I read the previous book in this series. This one picks up where the other left off. It is sweet and leaves you with a feel-good feeling. Slater and Hope were an item in college. In fact, Slater thought they would be together forever. That is, until Hope left him, changed her major, and went to work for her Dad in the investment industry. Slater was heart-broken.

Current day has Hope still working for her Dad and Slater working as management at the Cabins in the Pines. Hope's company books a week at the resort for a convention. Both Slater and Hope are surprised to see each other and are not sure what to do.

This book follows their reacquaintance and their growth, all the while the couple from the previous book are within a week of their wedding.

This book was sweet, clean, and wonderful. I like all the characters and enjoy the writing and the story.

I love second chance romances! When Hope ends up at the resort that Slater works at, sparks fly between these exes. I loved that Hope figured out that her career was not what she wanted anymore. I love that The Pines is such a magical place. I would recommend this book.

Wedding in the Pines, by Cassidy Carter, is the second book that set in Cabins in the Pines. This a lovely, standalone romance about second chances. It does include characters from "Love on Location" by Ms. Carter but isn't required reading to fall in love with this book. I will be reading "Love on Location" very soon. The author brings back old friends and introduces us to some new and different characters.

I will admit it. I am a sap for Hallmark – publishing or television. This story offers romance aficionados a quick beach read. I really enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters. Both came to the table with their own concerns, their own pasts and many uncertainties. In true Hallmark fashion they are trying to figure out who they want to be. It was lovely to feel how the two main characters complimented each other and start in a new positive direction. Hallmark always provides positive dialogue and this did not disappoint. It is ultimately a story of family, friendships and the value of forgiveness.

When I embark on a Hallmark romance, I find they are always feel good and heartwarming. In this crazy world we live in I love to lose myself in a world that is simply good even for a little while. This story was exactly what I needed. The story was well paced and kept my attention. I hope there will be more books in this series with these characters because I would love to see more. If you love Hallmark romances, then this book is for you! Well Done!

I would like to thank Hallmark Publishing, Cassidy Carter and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was a sweet romance novel ! it took me a little bit to get into the story line, but once I did I could not put it down. I love the story line between Slater and Hope. This book is packed full of life's little lessons, second chances and the love of family and friends. If you are looking for light read that just makes you smile I recommend this book.

This was a sweet little romance. It was a fun read and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. For some reason, I had a hard time connecting to the book. I had a hard time connecting to both of the main characters. It was a sweet story overall, though!

Cassidy Carter brings us Hope and Slater. Hope and Slater had big dreams in school consisting of music and ending up together. When that didn't happen, Slater transferred to a different school and Hope ended up working with her father. Years later, Hope has booked the Cabins in the Pines for the company conference. Slater is the best man in his best friend's wedding at the Cabins in the Pines. When they see each other again, the past comes back and they must confront it before they can move forward. Will they be able to get past their pain and forgive?

Cassidy Carter brings us a story of young love that was derailed only for them to be reunited by fate. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this privilege.

I LOVE Hallmark books- every time I read one, I imagine who would play each character. With my imagination running free, I devoured Hope and Slater's story, while fully enjoying the other characters from the first book. I love a good love story about second chances and this book was no exception!

I really enjoyed this title. It was an easy clean read. Hope and Slater are so well suited for each other. If there was a book for Wyatt and Delaney I didn't feel as if I was missing out on anything by not reading it.

I highly recommend this book you will enjoy a nice clean read.

A short and sweet second chance love story. They first met and fell in love in College. When her mother got sick, Hope changed her major and ended her relationship with Slater. He also changed majors, leaving the memories of the music they wrote and performed together behind him.

Flash ahead many years. He's now a manager working at a resort campground and she works with her father at his financial investment firm. Their end of the year awards and financial strategy conference is being held on the resort side so Slater and Hope meet again.

They reconnect in more ways than one and start working on writing a song for his best friend's upcoming wedding, when she can fit in time around conference responsibilities. Can live conquer all the second time around? Is Hope willing to sacrifice her happiness to please her father once again? You'll have to read to find out. I would rate 3.5 stars.

I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

Hope Bergman never anticipated seeing her ex-fiancé, Slater Evans, again, but when they meet again at Cabin in The Pines, will sparks fly and a second chance at love happen? You’ll just have to read to find out.

If you love a good Hallmark story, this could be the book for you. I always love a second chance romance. It is so satisfying to see them get their happily-ever-after despite the passing of time. I liked both the main and secondary characters and the setting sounds gorgeous. I want to go there. The book makes for a cozy, clean read with a satisfying love story ending.

It pains me to write this review. I wanted to love Wedding in the Pines by Cassidy Carter so much. Everything about it screamed at me to read it.

However, I could not get into it. I tried both the eARC and the audiobook thinking one of them might have been better suited for the story. I struggled to get through even a chapter at the time with the eARC, and I found the narrators were not as lively as other narrators I have heard in the past.

The story failed to hold my attention, and I found the characters kind of boring.

One thing I did love about the audiobook version is that there was a male and female narrator for the respective points of view. I always find that helps me keep characters clearer when listening to audiobooks. I hope Hallmark continues to do this in the future.

Usually I love books put out by Hallmark publishing and the setting, story, and characters from the description made me think I would love this book. However, both formats failed to grab or keep my attention.

I received an eARC and advanced audiobook from Hallmark Publishing through NetGalley. All opinions are 100% my own.

Wedding in the Pines is a second chance romance for the best man in the wedding party. Cassidy Carter’s novel delivers everything you would want from a Hallmark book or movie. Two charming characters who broke up years ago for family reasons but have been trying to do the best that they could then and now.

The story begs to question whether children should follow in their parent’s footsteps even if they would have chosen different paths for their lives. Slater is doing what he has chosen, never been busier than he is now. However, the same can’t be said for Hope. Seeing Slater again makes her question it all. A wedding, some drama, and a beautiful setting. You can count on Hope and Slater making the right choice now.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
