I really liked this book's structure, but the recipes were, unfortunately, not really to my tastes and in any cases more complicated than I'd expected from the book's title.
A good cookbook for all people who love keto food, and even these people, like myself, who just love cooking, and want to try new recipes. Thank you to netgalley for letting me read an advance copy of this book and the publishers as well.
I have loved all of Stephanie Laska's Dirty, Lazy, Keto books and this one is no exception! In addition to awesome recipes, this book gives you a sample shopping list, tips for covering up mistakes, and a list of recommended kitchen tools. She also uses personal examples to help with your weight loss experience.
Here it is! This is it! This is the cook book written “for the rest of us.” My husband and I are going low carb but I have been so overwhelmed with the weird ingredients and expensive items that seem to be so common in other cookbooks for people who seem to have unlimited time to spend cooking and unlimited funds to spend. This one is made for the rest of us. The grocery shopping list is full of normal items that we can find at our usual store. Even the tips are for the average person, common sense with some Keto experienced knowledge. I love that the table of contents up front not only has recipe sections but also the names of the recipes so you can just peek through and pick out something without flipping through the whole breakfast section. The pictures are beautiful and I find myself wanting to try lots of new recipes!!
