The Divine Adventure is a solid guide for new adults seeking practical steps to move into a closer relationship with God. A reader can quickly put each discipline into practice by choosing from a menu of actions the author suggests near the end of each chapter. Friedlander scatters interesting illustrations from her life throughout the chapters, which I enjoyed. I received a digital review copy from the publisher via Netgalley, but I purchased a print book for my 22-year-old daughter.
