this was an adorable read for children that love fairy tales, it was a cute read and had what I enjoyed from the Snow White tale.

I enjoyed 'Verity Fairy: snow white'. Verity is a fairy who is assigned to help protect snow white. She accidentally has a slip up and put snow white in danger. Verity, along with the help of her friends, is works to save snow white. I love all fairy tale retelling and this is no different. The Verity fairy series is fun and unique.

I enjoy a good Intertext (re-telling) of classic tales, especially fairy tales. I grew up with them and watched all the Disney films... You know, 90s nostalgia and all.

Verity Fairy is a sweet, little series I found that retells classic fairy tales. It's quite fun and lovable, if I'm being honest. I'm glad I was able to pick up the Snow White adaptation while I could!

This book retells the story of Snow White but includes our favourite, little fairy Verify Fairy. This fairy tries her best to help, but sometimes gets things a little mixed up. This story is fun and quite the great picture book meets chapter book read. I think many young readers will have fun with this one.

Three out of five stars.

The fairy named Verity is sent into the fairytale Snow White to be the voice of her stepmother’s mirror. Verity must make sure that Snow White stays alive. However, Verity can only tell the truth, so when she’s asked who is the loveliest of them all, she answers Snow White. This makes the Wicked Queen want to kill Snow White, so Verity had to work to counteract the Wicked Queen’s attack on Snow White.

This story was a fun twist on the fairytale of Snow White. The character of the Queen’s talking mirror isn’t prominent in most adaptations. Since Verity was inside the mirror, and she could only speak the truth, she couldn’t lie to the Queen about who was the loveliest. The only potential problem with this narrative in a children’s book, is that Verity causes problems when she tells the truth. The purpose isn’t to teach kids not to tell the truth, though the truth got Verity into trouble.

I liked that some words were defined at the bottom of the pages. Words that may be new to young readers had definitions. I loved books with those kinds of learning moments when I was a kid because then I could learn words without having to stop reading and look in a dictionary. This was a great addition to this book.

Verity Fairy: Snow White is a fun children’s fairytale retelling!

Among a community of fairies, Verity Fairy stands out. Her moral compass is strong and, even when it may not be the best choice, she always tells the truth. It's a good thing that her fairy friends always have her back. Using this premise as the backdrop, Wakeman inserts Verity into well-known fairy tales to help explain their plots.

In this book, Verity's mission is to be the voice of Snow White's stepmother's Mirror on the Wall. When she asks "Who's the fairest of them all?", Verity tells the truth. Snow White, of course, thus setting off the tale we all know so well. It's a clever premise, one that will get young people thinking about fairy tales they've heard since they were young - and how Verity can fit right in.

I loved this new series by Caroline Wakeman! It's a great addition to the early reader market.

I especially like that there were words and definitions at the bottom of the page. The story of Snow White is nicely presented in this story with a different spin on it

I received an electronic ARC from DK through NetGalley.
Verity is back and this time Tatiana has assigned her to be the Magic Mirror's voice and protect Snow White. The trouble is that Verity always tells the truth. So, the story unfolds along parallel lines to the known fairy tale with twists and errors along the way. With Celeste's help, Verity not only saves Snow White but convinces the Wicked Queen that kindness is the best beauty there is.
These early chapter books are easy to follow for young elementary level readers. The illustrations give readers glimpses of this world and still let them use their own imagination to flesh it out.

What a fun picture book! Verity is spunky truth telling fairy who likes marshmallows intends to get in trouble from telling the truth too often. I love the literal take on the term fairytale. My favorite part was Verity taking ownership And convincing the queen that kindness truly makes you beautiful. I will be buying all the books in the series or my nieces.

Another super cute Verity Fairy book. I know a few kids who are going to adore this series.

For Libraries: As with Verity Fairy: Sleeping Beauty, this is another good addition to beginning chapter book collections.

This is a super cute story, my daughter loved it, and immediately requested that I search for other books by the same author. It's a fairy tale with a spin, fairies all live in storyland, and they have to help the characters of fairytales. In this book, a way too honest little fairy gets to be the voice of the magic mirror in Snow White. What happens after she tells the Queen the truth, twice- that Snow White is the fairest maid of them all, and no, she's not dead, just tucked away with the dwarves?

My favourite twist is the outcome of the Queen.

This was such a cute twist to Snow White! I liked how the lesson by the end was that kindness is beauty. Your inside counts more than your outside appearance! I also liked how they put the definition of longer words so kids can learn them!
