I love the concept for the Bannon and Clare series, but found it difficult to recall the series of events of the previous book which had me questioning whether the characters were as compelling as I had thought for book 1. In any case I think Lilith Saintcrow a talented writer, and think this series should appeal to fans of the steampunk and mystery genres.
