Grace & Glory is the third and final book in the Harbinger trilogy. If you haven’t read the first two books, I suggest you not read this review because it contains spoilers for the first two books.

This book picks up right where Rage & Ruin left off. Trinity and the gang have to figure out a way to stop Gabriel, the Harbinger, from ridding the world of humans. Layla and Roth have gone to see if Lucifer will help--yes, you read that correctly. Meanwhile, Trinity is faced with a miracle. Zayne is somehow alive, but he’s different. It looks like he has angel wings. Trinity has no idea how that happened or what it means.

I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll end this review by saying that this book is full of JLA’s signature snark, romance, and battle scenes. I wanted more from this book which is the main reason why I didn't rate this book higher. To me, it didn’t feel like a ton happened plot-wise until the end of the book. Most of the book was about Zayne’s transformation and the romance between Zayne and Trinity. Finding a way to defeat Gabriel didn’t seem like the main priority. However, that's just my opinion. Overall, I think fans of this series will enjoy this conclusion!

A glorious ending for this series

I’m so overwhelmed with emotions after this finale. It’s always bitter-sweet when you finish a series. It’s sad to see the end of a story you’ve invested so much of your time in but at the same time, it’s amazing to see the characters and how much they have grown throughout all the books. This was an epic world Jen has created. I wanted to devour this final book in one sitting but also savor each word.

I’ve spent so many hours and days between the pages of this world that the excitement to be back in it was through the roof. It was everything I had expected and then some.

This book ticked all the boxes for me to be а top read – romantic scenes to melt your heart, fiery passion, intense battles, witty and funny dialogues, twists and turns, amazing multilayered characters and a story that was nicely wrapped with all the puzzle pieces coming together at the end.

The beginning was so intense, I though my heart was going to come out of my chest. It was a bit painful to read at places, and so emotional it brought me to tears. It was pure torture of the sweetest kind. And then this never-ending love kept coming from the pages and swallowed me completely. It was absolutely beautiful and stole my breath away.

Zayne was dreamy and I loved all the transformations he went through. Trin was super strong and I admired her character and how she faced everything head-on. Their relationship went through so much with this book but came out unbreakable at the end. It was absolutely amazing to see the whole change take place.

The battles were fast-paced and the action scenes were very well balanced with the romantic part of the story. But the ending was definitely the cherry on the cake. I absolutely didn’t see this coming and it was definitely a jaw-dropping moment. Completely blew my mind and in a way left me wanting more. I truly hope this is not the end for these characters and Jen revisits this world again one day. I’m not ready to leave the whole gang of Wardens, Demons, Nephilims, Angels and other mythical creatures and I secretly hope to see more of them soon.

This was a graceful and glorious 5* ending for this series and I absolutely loved every single word.

Whoa, look out for Trinity! She is nonstop and does let anything hold her back for what she wants or what she believes. She has a genetic eye disorder RP, Retinitis Pigmentosa, that I was able to learn more about and the sincere struggles she faces and overcomes as others I know also have this genetic disorder in real life. She is losing her vision and often looks to see if she can still see how many stars are visible in the sky. Trin, it makes you shine brighter! Trinity is a Trueborn and despite her vision, she can kick ass with the best of them. Zayne was her guardian and comes back as a fallen. As they navigate trying to get him truly back, they have to figure out how to deal with the Harbinger, and the fact they are trying to bring LUCIFER topside! Which means… ROTH AND LAYLA! And the rest of the crew.
It was really emotional reading the final installment as these characters have become family from reading the Dark Elements into the Harbinger series. I still cannot read some of the quotes from my highlights without my throat burning and tears filling my eyes. I love that the unlikeliest of beings become friends. There is a major wow factor in this one that will leave your jaw unhinged towards the end. Pick it up and keep reading, because this ends on epic levels!

I love all the fun real life references to fandoms throughout the book!

Trinity and company must find a way to prevent Gabriel from ending the world, but first she has to get Zayne back. Zayne has returned to Earth as a Fallen angel, but he doesn't remember anything. Trinity enlists the help of the Crone and a young witch that can see the future to trap Zayne and bring him back to himself. All she has to do is find some faith.

I received an ARC as a member of JLA's review team <3

This was such a great conclusion to this trilogy! Jennifer does amazing work and this was no exception!

I highly recommend checking out this series, but first you NEED to read the Dark Elements series. This trilogy is a spin off of that series, and it definitely makes more sense if you read DE first!

This is YA, and it reads as such, so if you're looking for explicitly spicy, this is not the series for you. However, this is still such an amazing series and the characters have my heart. Love it!

It’s always so hard saying goodbye to a series and it’s especially hard saying goodbye to this series because it is one of my favorite worlds from JLA. Going all the way back to White Hot Kiss, I’ve just always loved this world of wardens and angels and demons and now six books and a novella later I still don’t want to say goodbye, but JLA wrapped up this series so well and it was a great send off.

Zayne and Trinity are both so great and I love them together so much. They are so fun and Zayne deserved this happiness after all he has endured. Of course, in true JLA style, things are not easy for Zayne and Trinity but they both fight through and she delivers a worthy conclusion for them both. I’ve always said that, for me, JLA shines with her paranormal and fantasy and I think this is my favorite of all her paranormal worlds. It’s just so well done and I love the entire cast of characters.

Speaking of characters, it’s always wonderful seeing Roth and Layla again because my love for Roth knows no bounds. And Cayman is just an absolute riot. I also loved all the time with Nicolai, Dez, and Danika. And gotta mention Peanut! But the scene stealer this time around was Lucifer. I just... no words. It was great.

Grace And Glory was everything I hoped for from the conclusion to this series. It was action packed with twists and turns and of course the romance was wonderful. I am going to miss this world and these characters, but I know I’ll revisit them again and again.

This book closes the series and it was a perfect ending.
I have always been Team Zayne, and it's lovely to see him grow into his own person and step away from the weight of always being a good boy.

This Zayne is a little darker, a little sexier, a little less perfect and all of that combined made him even better.

The story itself is full of twists and turns and surprises. Some I never saw coming. We get to see older characters too, the whole gang is back together.

This is a five-star book all the way and I will miss these characters.

The final book in the Harbinger trilogy, this book brings all of the action, excitement and heart-stopping romance that I was hoping for, and it finishes off the series beautifully – while still leaving the door open for Armentrout to return to this world again. It’s such a great read, and I loved it!

Pretty much everything I say will be a raging spoiler for the story, so this will be a short and vague review.

The last book left us on a nasty cliffhanger, and I have been so excited to see how this final instalment will play out. This book picks up right where the last one finished, and it was full of surprises from the very beginning. I was not expected the story to go in the direction it did, but wow, what a ride!

It’s not as fast-paced as I thought it would be, and a lot of the book is spent dealing with the emotional love story, and Trinity’s journey as the story builds towards its climax. There’s still lots of action and fighting as Trinity and Zayne fight to prevent the Harbinger from literally unleashing hell on earth, and with Roth and Layla returning with Lucifer himself to help fight on team good, it’s all happening as the team risk sparking the actual apocalypse in order to save the day.

There’s a fantastic cast of characters helping along the way – Roth and Layla are sensational as always, but the rest of the wardens, Cayman, Peanut, and an angel or two all make appearances, and bring so much to the story. The sarcasm, quips and pop culture references are flying thick and fast, and it’s funny and entertaining, and I loved being back in this world!

"A tight smile appeared on Grim’s face. “I always know. I’m like Santa, but with more death.”
“Wow,” I murmured. “That comparison just ruined Christmas for me.”

And bringing so much heart to the story, the romance is just gorgeous. There is so much swoon, and I loved that JLA bought there was so much emotion in the middle of all of the chaos.

“You are all I ever wanted, even before I knew what I wanted. It was you. It was always you.”

There are shocks and frights and more than one heart-stopping moment, but the story ends in a great place, bringing satisfying closure to Trinity and Zayne’s story. But having said that, I would be totally on board if we get to revisit these characters again.

Such a great read. 4.5 stars.

Title: Grace and Glory

This will be a spoiler free review. Thank you to Jen for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review. I’m thrilled to be a part of your review team – and this was a fantastic way to close out this series. If you’re interested, you can check out my spoiler free reviews for Storm and Fury and Rage and Ruin.

Well, what the fuck am I supposed to do now?
This book is going to throw me into a slump. Which is saying something, since I usually read JLA books to pull me from slumps. But I’m just sitting here wondering what to do now.

I’m honestly still reeling, so I have no idea how coherent this review will be. But oh my god I loved this book. It’s definitely bittersweet but Jen carries it out with a bang. I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for this story. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do now, with no more Zayne, Trinity, Roth or Layla. God, I love them so much. And lowkey, I loved Lucifer. He was so much fun and added a nice dose of chaos…not that they needed more chaos.
But what can I say – I love Lucifer’s brand of crazy. His obsession with Supernatural legit made my day. He totally would be obsessed with that show. Cracks me up.

Jen definitely knocked it out of the park with this one. Between the emotions, never slowing plot and the high stakes, it was so good. I love that she takes the lore and stories that are well known when it comes to Angels and Demons, Heaven and Hell and twists them into something new. Something unique. But they still feel familiar. I loved that foes have to become unwitting allies and things only get worse before they get better.
And as crazy as it may sound, I love that she puts her characters through the emotional wringer all the time. The journey they have to then go on to climb their way back is always so good. Trinity and Zayne are no exception.
And speaking of Trinity and Zayne…they make this book borderline NA. Though, if Zayne were my boyfriend. I’d probably be in Trinity’s shoes – can’t blame her. The love and care they have for each other is so good, so heartwarming. It’s so clear that they’re 100% meant for each other.

We’ve known that Zayne is this kind of stoic Golden Retriever kind of character, but this book shows off some more…controlling, possessive, demanding side to him. A darker side if you will, and phew. Light Zayne is fun, but Dark Zayne is intoxicating as hell. Trinity is so lucky LOL.
I loved Trinity’s journey of self-acceptance in this book. She has so much on her plate, it’s kind of ridiculous, and she handles it way better than I could imagine. That moment where she admits her truth out loud – my heart swelled for her. She lives in a world where she’s surrounded by as much loss as she is good things – she knows it well. And she’s still incredibly strong and doesn’t let it break her completely.

As always it was fun having Roth and Layla in the picture. I miss Roth’s brand of sass and snark paired with is good looks and charm. He and Layla are as adorable as ever. Peanut! I definitely didn’t see his character development coming – nice twist – I loved it.
And I loved that (since they’re really given no choice) the Wardens have to get over their elitist attitude and accept that not all demons are bad. The journey to get to that point is full of chaos, exasperated sighs and yelling, and Trinity causing them a bunch of headaches, but it’s all good.

I already know that this book is going to sit in my head for days, making me wish that I could read it all again for the first time. I’m hoping that we get to see more of them in the future, but I’m thrilled we got the time with them we did. I definitely want more and wouldn’t say no to more books with these characters, in this world. I can’t recommend this series – and the White Hot Kiss series – enough. Grace and Glory is out June 1, so make sure you get your pre-orders in!

The last book in the Harbinger series was killer!! I have loved pretty much almost everything that Armentrout has done and OMG this one was blast. I loved what she did to end the series and I need more from her ASAP! The beings and characters and action all came together with kick ass heroes that you just cant help to fall for. Lovers of this series won't be disappointed at all.

This is what I'm talking about. I won't lie to you, Zayne never really did it for me. I liked his character in the previous books, but I wasn't all smitten like, until now. I finished Grace and Glory last night and had a dream about Zayne. I will also tell you that I am here for bad boy Zayne and the glimpes we got were just enough for me.
This is the final book in the Harbinger Trilogy and JLA knocked it out of the park for me. At the end of Rage and Ruin, Zayne died, only to come back as an angel. Well, we found out what kind of angel he came back as in Grace and Glory and Trinity had her work cut out for her trying to save him. As per usual, Roth's up to something crazy and while brainstorming how to defeat Gabriel, decides that they need to summon Lucifer for help. You can guess how well that goes.
The book is full of one liners, epic battle scenes and so much sweetness between Trinity and Zayne that you may get a cavity, but I loved every second of it. The twist at the end had me all kinds of happy. This was an epic ending to a great trilogy.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was emotional for a number of reasons, the first and only one I’ll go into detail about, is that it’s the closing of this series—of this world.

There is no more Trinity or Zayne. Layla or Roth. It’s done. And that’s hard to come to terms with.

But this book was the perfect goodbye to the world.

There is a TON that happens in this book. Obviously book 2 ended on a huge cliffhanger that had us all crying and demanding more. This book had a lot of detail that you had to pay attention to. Whatever you think you may know, you don’t.

This book at times had a more NA feel than YA (no complaints here). It had a lot of romantic moments, and I love seeing Zayne be the sweet, perfect guy that he is. Roth and Layla don’t have much to do with this book (definitely sad about that, but it’s okay).

It was a great ending to a series. You have everything you could ever want in this book. Tons of romance and fighting. Moments that make your jaw drop. It just had so much to offer.

I’m so thankful for the journey Trinity and Zayne took us on and I’m heartbroken for it to end. These characters will forever hold a spot in my heart.

It's bittersweet to know that I've reached the end of this series, but the end was brilliantly written. Firstly, that battle scene was AMAZING!! There were so many players on the scene that I worried she wouldn't be able to keep all of their personalities straight or that the fighting would seem struggling, but I didn't have a thing to worry about. Each character came across the page flawlessly, even as they switched from character to character in the scene to show how they each reacted to the battle or to a certain event, everything was flawless and the stage was set so perfectly that it was like watching the movie in my head as I read the words on the page. There isn't a lot more that I can say without spoiling the book, but take a deep breath because this book is going to take you on a wild ride!! 5 stars and 2 thumbs way way up.

Grace and Glory is the final novel in The Harbinger trilogy. It picks up immediately after the events of Rage and Ruin, so spoilers for Storm and Fury and Rage and Ruin.

Grace and Glory picks up with Trinity having to deal with the fallout of their first interaction with The Harbinger. Zayne is back, but there’s something not quite right with him. The first half of the novel follows Trinity as she tries to help Zayne. I very much enjoyed this portion of the novel. It’s fast paced, exciting, and slightly more mature than the previous novels. The dynamic between Trinity and Zayne changed and I loved it.

Like the previous novels, Grace and Glory is fun. The characters are all quirky in their own way, cracking jokes, and referencing real world media. If you’ve read some of Armentrout’s other work, I’m sure you can guess what real world media I’m referring to.

Grace and Glory is a fast paced novel as everything builds up to the explosive ending. There’s a reveal at the end I did not see coming and really enjoyed it. Armentrout left the door open for more novels in this world and I hope to see them come into fruition. Though, I hope they trend more in the new adult genre.

Overall, Grace and Glory is a fantastic conclusion to The Harbinger trilogy. Full of action, a sizzling romance, and laugh out loud moments, The Harbinger trilogy is sure to keep you reading well into the night

So I may hav received this ARC and just not put it down and read it in a day. Yeah, it was that good. That is how you end a series! What an incredible conclusion to Trinity and Zayne's story. Seriously. It had it all. The epic romance happily ever after to the crazy battles to the plot twists that had your jaw dropping. Grace and Glory was fantastic. So this book picks up right where the last one ended. And if you all remember, that was pretty nuts. And it was SO not what I thought it was leading to. That first chapter was bananas. Because not everything was as it seemed. Zayne was back but not in the way you would expect and it will take a lot for Trinity to truly have him back. And when all is said and done, because I definitely don't want spoilers, let's just say chaos erupts in lots of ways. The end is near and it will take everything they have to defeat the Harbinger once and for all. And with Layla and Roth's mission being a bit of a success, things on Earth are going to get pretty crazy. I absolutely loved this story and I cannot say it enough. I just loved that it was a satisfying end to Trinity and Zayne's story. They both are such awesome characters and have been through so, so much. They deserved a win after all of that. And they had to continue fighting for it throughout this story. Their love story was great. The humor between all of these characters new and old was great as usual. And the battles epic and ones no one will forget. A great conclusion to this series that I think everyone will be happy with. And I hope this won't be the end of this world of angels, gargoyles, and demons. It is definitely a favorite of mine.

Picking up right where Rage and Ruin left off, Grace and Glory had me on the edge of my seat from page one. I think it was a perfect contrast to the Dark Elements and really showed how amazingly unique each of those series is despite taking place in the same world.
I'm not ready to say goodbye to Trinity or Zayne or any of the other characters from Harbinger and yet here I am, after the last page realizing that's what I have to do now. I already want to reread Grace and Glory- it was my favorite book in the series and I never expected to love Zayne as much as I love Roth. I also didn't expect to spend half the book laughing until I couldn't breathe (it was actually really chaotic in the best way possible).
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect going into this but JLA delivered one hell of an ending and it's by far one of my favorites. I got everything I could have possibly wanted and more. This was the perfect conclusion to Trinity and Zayne's story and one I know I'll find myself revisiting soon.
I miss them already.

“What’s inside you is the gift. It is both grace and Glory, a power that is beyond what your mind can comprehend and yet a power owned by you. Use it to strike through the heart encased in chaos.”

“You are all I ever wanted, even before I knew what I wanted. It was you. It was always you.”

Grace and Glory is the epic finale to the Harbinger Series. It will captivate readers from the very first page and in true JLA fashion, it will take you on one wild and emotional ride…..

Grace and Glory picks up right where the last book left off and hits the ground running. I didn’t know what to think or feel. I was surprised by the turn of events and didn’t know how things would play out. But, one thing I knew for certain is that I implicitly trust JLA, so I just sat back and enjoyed the ride.

The battle between good and evil, an unimaginable ally, and a love story that knows no bounds. Everything has come full circle now and believe me when I tell you, Trinity and Zayne’s story is riddled with shocking twists and turns. There’s so much action to keep you guessing and on your toes. Trinity and Zayne’s journey this time around is not an easy one. There are so many obstacles in their way, including the end of the world. All I can say is that their journey was worth every heart-pounding moment…

As I sit here trying to write my review, I feel like a bit of an emotional mess. This book was everything that I was hoping it would be. It was funny when it needed to be and filled with action. There was romance and a love worth fighting for. There were twists and turns around each corner. I loved getting lost in this book and this series. It was everything I needed and I am so incredibly sad that it’s over. I truly hope that this won’t be the last that we see of these characters…

I received this free eARC novel from the author and NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I'm a bit speechless after reading this book. I binged read the entire series and Layla's story too and now I'm sitting here, sad that this journey is over. I have always been Team Roth, but Zayne grew on me a lot during his story and I loved how much he grew throughout this series.

But really, it was Trinity that I loved the most and I'm sad to say goodbye to her. She is such an amazing character. She is crazy strong to not only be training for who knows what, but to do so with limited sight shows how wonderful she is. And she's fearless!

Cayman was 100% great in this book - I love how he connected with Trinity. And he's crazy hilarious and had me in tears laughing so hard!

This novel felt very detailed and yet not as much happened as the previous books in the series. Trinity had a select few things she was focused on and some of those events took longer than others to achieve. But it was a wild, emotional, heart stopping adventure that sucked me in from start to finish. So many reveals happened that surprised me and gave me goosebumps, and I loved every second.

I'm so glad to read this amazing ending to an amazing series and I'm hoping to perhaps see these characters again in the future? Maybe? If not, I'll definitely be revisiting this world again to visit these wonderful people!
