I loved this story! Mary Kay Andrews writes a romantic holiday romp about a new girl in town and the magic of Christmas.

This started out rough for me, but by the end I enjoyed this book. I love Mary Kay Andrews and even though I usually lean towards thrillers and suspense…I love her romances. The Santa Suit bordered on corny for me, but came around in the end to be a cute corny. I enjoyed it, but the shorter novella length was enough for me.

While not my normal type of read, I really enjoyed The Santa Suit. A perfect quick, holiday read. Reminded me a lot of a Hallmark movie.

Always love me a Mary Kay Andrews book. But this one just felt rushed with an extremely predictable story line. There was no real plot development or character development. For instance, after reading the book, I still have no idea what Ivy, the main character looks like, how old she is or what her hobbies and interests are. It almost seems as if all of a sudden MKA realized that she was at 90% of her target word count so just tried to tie up her loose ends and forgot about trying to pull a plot together. That doesn't mean I won't read her next one and the one after that lol.

Love this sweet story! MKA delivers again! I love how she brings people together in small town communities especially at Christmas time!

I was really surprised by this book. I knew it would be wonderful but I loved the freshness of the story and the solving of the mystery. I couldn't see where we were going and that meant I didn't dare put it down. :)

The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews is a fun Christmas read. The letter in the pocket of a Santa Suit leads Ivy on a journey that ends with love.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.

This was a fun, lightweight, cute Hallmark movie book that was perfect for Christmas. Nothing too heavy or deep, but also no violence or dark events or character, which I appreciated. Fun book!

The Santa Suit was a charming, Hallmark-movie-like holiday book that I enjoyed. This quick, small-town novel takes us on an adventure with Ivy Perkins who buys a 106-year-old farmhouse, sight unseen, after a divorce. Known as the Four Roses Farm, it once was the home of Bob and Betty Rae Rose, who poured their hearts into the Christmas season each year for their community. Bob was the famous Santa Claus in town, which Ivy discovers when she finds a Santa suit in the closet. A note in the coat pocket piques Ivy’s interest and leads readers on an adventure to reunite the author with the note. We’re introduced to a host of adorable characters along the way, including Ezra, Phoebe and my favorite, Everett.
Overall, this was a sweet, charming read that is fun to read with a cup of cocoa in hand.
Thank you to NetGalley, St. Martin’s Press and Mary Kay Andrews for an advance copy of this book.

This is a cute Christmas story. Tons of Christmas spirit. Very Hallmark movie. I enjoyed this quick read. I will recommend.

Reading The Santa Suit was like sitting in front of a cozy fire drinking a cup of hot chocolate with all the marshmallows. It is after Christmas and I got a bit of holiday spirit anyway. Ivy Perkins was lovely. She made friends with her new neighbors in Tarburton. She gave a helping hand when she could. Reviving a candy store. Warming an old man’s lonely heart. Playing Cupid. Lighting up the town’s old Christmas farm house. Sharing a Santa suit and wearing a red velvet dress herself. Perfect book for Pop Sugar Challenge #28 A book set during a holiday.

Perfect short to get into the season! I read this one over the holidays and it has stuck with me. I will read anything this author writes! I always love her stories and characters!

The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews is a very sweet Christmas story. Without being saccharine it is a lovely tale of friendship and romance as Ivy and her dog Punkin, settle in to a new life in a new town.

This is a quick read with quirky characters…the author usually satisfies when writing…although the story moves slowly, it comes to a great conclusion. Sent to me by Netgalley to review.

The perfect Christmas novella! This short and sweet novella will get you into the holiday spirit and under 225 pages. The mystery of the Santa Suit, the saving of the candy shop, and the catfish dating drama… I loved it all!! I would have read a full book about Ivy and this town but honestly it felt right that this was a short one. If you want a slightly cheesy but hopelessly romantic holiday read, this is it!

A nice Christmas story, involving bringing people together from the past and the present. Perfect for fans of Mary Kay Andrews.

What an absolutely delightful read! Even though I read it slightly out of season this book was so much fun to read during January and helped keep the Christmas spirit going. Ivy Perkins bought a large farmhouse in North Carolina, sight unseen, to help her start over after getting divorced and leaving a marketing company she loved. She soon finds new friends in her small town and a new budding attraction to her realtor/neighbor, Ezra. As she gets to know her new home, she uncovers secrets left behind in all of the furniture the former owners have "gifted" her. She finds out her home was home to the local Santa and Mrs. Claus. She finds their suit and a mystery to solve in Santa's pocket. A great story of starting over, second chances and making new friends.

I love Mary Kay Andrews and eagerly await her new books every year! This was the perfect holiday novella to get me into the Christmas spirit! It was very hallmark-esque and filled with sweet, magical moments! It is a novella, so the plot was lacking a little, the story was predictable, and sometimes felt rushed. However, go into it knowing it is a novella and this won't bother you!

What a fun read for the holidays! A sweet romance in a quaint setting. Always enjoy a new MKA book. recommend if you want something heartwarming. thank you netgalley and the publisher for an e-arc in exchange for a review.

This so needs to be made into a movie. The writing was amazing, and the characters are easy to fall in love with. This was my first Mary Kay Andrews story, and not my last.
