This book goes through every episode of the show of Riverdale and gives a recap of what happened in that episode. If you've already watched the show then you might find it repetitive but if you are like me and wanted to know what happened on the show but couldn't bear the pain of actually watching the show then this book is for you. Although this book does also have the dry humor of the author with some of the things that do happen and her thoughts overall on the show and it's reception by the audiences so you might still find it enjoyable to read.

this was a great guide to both fans of Riverdale and someone wanting to get into the show. It was a really well done guide and I enjoyed reading this.

I'm obsessed with Riverdale, so when I came across this book on NetGalley, I had to request it! The Binge Watcher’s Guide To Riverdale tells you everything you need to know about what Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, and friends have been up to during the first four seasons of the show. It's a fun read, and it'll be great for refreshing my memory right before a new season begins or just for revisiting my favorite moments. I would like to start with this review saying that I am a huge fan of Riverdale. I started to watch this TV Series almost three years ago, at the beginning of Season 3. I fell in love with its characters, I felt an instant connection with them. So, it's a very special opportunity to be accepted into a book about it.

Although it's not the official guide of the show, it is a full, detailed and descriptive book about Riverdale. It catches everything with detail. That's what I loved most about the book, that the author describes the episode so well, and so complete.

The Binge Watcher's Guide to Riverdale tells interesting facts that I myself, as a fan of the show, didn't even know, summarizes every chapter with rich details, and the author comments the chapter in a fun way. The humour is fresh and gives the book a dynamic reading.

I really enjoyed reading it. It tells you the air date, who wrote the chapter, and who was the director, between other topics such as quotes, facts, and what you can find in the episode, plus the author's opinion.

It makes references to other shows that I've watched, and Riverdale-related shows like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Katy Keene, between others.

It was really a fun experience to read it from the point of view of the author, who has read the comics and has watched the show. The author gives a lot of nods to the comics, and contrasts the show and the comics (characters, plots,...).

I highly recommend it for every fan of the Archieverse!

Several of my students recommended this show to me, which is why I indicated I would recommend this text to students. I would suggest it as a “free choice” text- not one I’d use for assigned reading.

Overall, I think this text was a helpful, detailed look into the events and characters of Riverdale, and obviously geared towards those who’d already watched the show.

What I loved: it was easy to follow, and, though a bit formulaic, contained the most important elements of each episode in a quick- read format. Readers can choose where to spend time and energy in each section. The introduction was also helpful and informative as I had no background going into the show about the comics. I also enjoyed the real world connections and symbolism explored in the book. Though some seemed a bit far- fetched, anything is possible in fiction!

I liked the quizzes at the end of each section- could be a fun activity to use with friends who are also watching! I saw it as a fun “trivia night” activity.

Overall, a fun read for an avid Riverdale fam.

If you're like me you probably have no idea what is happening with Riverdale and probably are only familiar with some of the iconic scenes. However, this book is prefect if you are as confused as I am.

This book was a good SURPRISE! I Absolutely LOVE Riverdale. It’s my favorite show, and there was so many little things I didn’t notice even watching it a few couple of time, and it was a such good experience to read and think about the show on the lens of this writer

I received a copy of this guide as an ARC from that yelling. This book is great fun for any lover of the television series Riverdale. It goes into depth about the theories, characters, setting and conflicts. Loved how you could jump around and just check out certain parts that you may have questions about.
