As we all know, life does not always work out like we plan. Libby Morgan finds that out right in the beginning of this read, and she never saw it coming, so absorbed in her job. A wake up call, having read the book, yes, and a blessing.

We walk with her as she goes about her without a job life, and I was ready to go an help hold those babies, but this leads to an encounter with Dr. "Heart of" Stone, as he is referred to. She also befriends some young teenage girls, whom change her life, but also enrich it.

Keep reading, how things work out was a surprise, and along the way there are a lot of tears.

I also love the Epilogue!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Ballentine Books, and was not required to give a positive review.

I am an unconditional fan of Ms Macomber's stories.
Unlike the current books, full of appealing sex, her books bring plots full of personalities, character and emotion. Perhaps that is why some young people today find this author's books so peculiar.

Libby's story looks like so many others, from women who have given up everything around them for a successful career.
Libby was a lawyer and wanted to be a partner in her law firm. But despite her efforts, she was fired.

Feeling lost - and lonely - she finds herself re-evaluating her life when she starts attending Good Yarn, the local knitting store, and makes new friends.
From there, Libby rediscovers herself and even sees the possibility of having a new love (since her marriage had failed).
A book to make you reflect on priorities and how enjoy (without guilty) a second chance in life.

So glad this was the first Debbie book that I read! She's my sisters favourite author and getting to read this was a huge eye opener - she's an incredible author!
