This book was read thanks to NetGalley.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about this books, is how fun and predictable was and I loved it for that, not every book was to be with 10000 twists, sometimes the is enough to make everything go, just as with this book,
I read it and I enjoyed it.
I highly recommended you, excellent vacations read.
While a little on the predictable side, How Not to Marry a Billionaire was a lighthearted and sweet little read that I binged in one afternoon. If you’re looking for something that will not only make you laugh out loud but feel good by the end, then this is the book! Loved it
Just the title of this book tells you it's going to be a light-hearted fun read. It lived up to the expectation! This book felt like reading a movie script, It is a movie which I recently found out. It was predictable and crazy but that's what made it so fun.
The Hawaii beach setting also makes this the perfect summer read! A short but sweet romantic comedy about finding love (and happiness) in unexpected places.
Thank you to Netgalley, Victory Editing Co-op and Ashlee Mallory for #gifting me this E-arc in exchange for an honest review.
This was a fun read! The characters infuriated me at times, but it really turned out for the best. I look forward to the next in this series!
This is a very lighthearted and fun book. A nice beachy getaway read. I loved the voice and the setting in Hawaii. I also loved how wholesome the story was and still genuinely funny.
How Not to Marry a Billionaire by Ashlee Mallory was such a sweet, fun book! The title is really spot on. Our protagonist Jane has been cheated on by her boyfriend and harassed at work. She has huge student loans and decides to put her mother's advice of falling in love with a rich man to the test. She sets her sights on Hawaii and eligible billionaires.
This book felt like taking a vacation to Hawaii it was so fun to read and I felt like I gained three new best friends in Jane, Penny and Holly! It was sweet and reminded me of some of my first romcom books, it was outlandish and funny but not over the top on the romance side!
This is your next vacation read!
I'm always searching for books that take you on a vacation, and in this instance, you go to Hawaii while searching for your own billionaire! What could go wrong??
This was a very fun book to get lost in. You travel in Hawaii, meet a few potential husband-material guys and fall in love with one of them. Easy right?? The story of this book was very unique compared to other romance novels and provided pure entertainment.

Jane Carmichael’s at the lowest point in her life. She’s got no boyfriend, no job, and a mountain on debts in student loans. Then she bumps into her high school nemesis, who flaunts her gold-digger lifestyle at her, and Jane has an idea: why not fall for a rich man next time? That’s how she ends up in Hawaii, looking for her one and only… sugar daddy. She seems to have found him in charming British billionaire Colin. But the resort’s sexy bartender Mike has a pull on Jane that she can’t seem to ignore…
“How not to marry a billionaire” is a short, sweet romantic comedy about finding love and happiness when (and where) we least expect it. It also reminds us that the only one we can really count on to change our life is our own self. It was a lighthearted, easy, quick read, even though I must say that it’s a bit predictable (but nothing wrong with that – it’s what makes it lighthearted and entertaining).
If you’re searching for your next summer beach read, look no further! “How not to marry a billionaire” is the right book for you!

Full review to come in the near future.
This is a cute, light-hearted book. It was a fast read, but I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it dug a little deeper into other characters.
Thank you for providing the ARC of this book in return for my honest opinion!
What a hoot! Our protagonist, Jane, is a recently granduated lawyer.
She works in a male dominated firm, with one particular handsy lawyer.
She finally gets fed up and quits, so her already behind bills etc., are made worse.
Her ever practical mother suggests she look for a wealthy man, as they are as easy to love as a poor man.
She inveigles her best friend to go to Hawaii to help her find a rich man, and instead finds a bartender. And a reality show.
This book is fun, descriptive and not so over the top that you can't believe in the plot.
Great summer read!
Rating: 3/5
Genre: Romance
Review: Jane is a recently out of work lawyer after accidently stabbing her boss when he got a bit to comfortable placing his hands where they aren’t supposed to be. Unemployed broke and nearly at rock bottom…Jane takes some (bad) advice from her mom and sets off to marry a billionaire in paradise. Until a sexy bartender gets in her way, will she choose the guy who has her heart or the guy with the big rock?
This was a cute, quick story, which felt a lot like a Hallmark movie. I enjoyed some of the characters + the setting. I did have to laugh at some of Jane’s antics while cringing at the concept to marry a billionaire to be more comfortable in life. I am glad things ended the way they did!
ARC provided by Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, thank you for providing in exchange for my honest opinion.
Jane's life was a mess with no jobs, lots of loans & bills and family drama. She decided to find a rich guy, fall in love with him and marry him. How hard could it be? So, she convinced her best friend, Holly to tag alone a vacation trip to Hawaii for her to find a rich guy which she did after so many embarrassing attempts. But then her feelings for the hot bartender, Mike got in the way. She realized her plan was insane and decided to go for love instead of bank-balance at the end. After a bit of misunderstanding and then clearing the air, both Mike and Jane finally started dating.
It's safe to say I have a mixed feeling about this book. Nothing particular in this book really stood out for me. Sigh!

“It’s just as easy to fall in love with a rich man as it is a poor man.” So why not seek out a billionaire and see if he can be the one…?
This book follows Jane as she tries just that.
While Jane is in Hawaii she meets two men and is forced to choose between them; Colin is an attractive, smart and nice billionaire and Mike who is an attractive, smart and poor bartender. So - is money what really matters? Find out in this cute, uncomplicated, fun and easy read. The perfect short, summer read.

How Not to Marry a Billionaire is a very fun. romantic read that's great for reading on the beach, commuting to work etc. The characters are easy to connect with and become drawn into the story. A great read to help you escape real life for a while.
From the very moment they meet, you know Jane and Mike are meant to be... if it wasn't for Jane's (or Jane's mom's) crazy idea to find and marry a billionaire. (Un)Luckily, Colin, a very wealthy Englishman, turns up and he could be everything she was looking for.
A love triangle under Hawaian sun... exactly what I needed while lockdowned for the third time in twelve months ! It's funny, cute and light (and quite short, which would totally make it a perfect beach read). 3.5 stars as it was really predictable but I wouldn't be bored rereading it :D

Thank you so much NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this adorable book!! I fell head over heels in love with this book! Such a great book to kick off for your summer.
Jane hit rock bottom with her job and her loser ex-boyfriend. So she decides to head to Hawaii to fall in love with a billionaire (all her mothers idea). While there she falls for a billionaire and a bartender. Who will Jane choose?
Absolutely fabulous story! Loved the characters. Jane is in debt from law school working at a job where she is sexually harassed and at the end of her rope. She quits her job, takes her savings out and goes to Hawaii to see her best friend.
Janes mother coaches her that you can love a rich man as well as a poor man. Jane’s on a mission to marry a billionaire and solve all her problems. What will Jane do when she meets a bartender who she feels a spark with? Will she still pursue her mother’s plan?
Funny, enjoyable read! Don’t miss!
Thank you Net galley for complimentary copy.

This is a quick and easy read. While the overall plot is unrealistic, I honestly didn't care as it was so much fun. The characters, and supporting characters, were likeable and I found myself rooting for them. The happily ever after was just about perfect. This is the absolute perfect book for a beach read!!
This was such a light, easy and funny read. I really liked the characters and some bits actually made me laugh out loud. Although, I have to say I did end up correctly guessing what was going to happen!
A short and sweet read, nonetheless. Perfect for a nice relaxing day.
