This was a cute fun read, but it was a little too predictable. With that being said, I still loved the storyline and writing style! The characters were fun and could use a little more development, but I'm hoping there will be more books by the author that focus on other characters.
I received a digital copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This book follows our main character Jaine. She finds herself broke so she goes to a rich resort in Hawaii so she can find herself a rich husband. Along the way though she meets a handsome bartender, so what’s more important money or love?
A sweet, funny, light read. The Hawaii setting was great, made me want a vacation like now!
This is a good short read for the summer! (186 pages) Perfect if you want something enjoyable/fun but don’t have to think too hard to read! Perfect for reading at the beach or on a deck.
The plot was cute and made for a fun read! I caught myself smiling numerous times while reading this book. If you like a light fluffy RomCom then check this out!

Super cute! The storyline, although obviously unrealistic, was light, fun, and kept me engaged. Perfect beach read.
The main character decides to leave her job and take a trip to Hawaii where she can find a billionaire to marry. As her mom said, “it’s as easy to fall in love with a rich guy as it is a poor guy.” She finds a billionaire, but she also has noticed a handsome bartender... What’s more important: money or true love....
A fun read. :) Perfect for a rainy day and the book can be finished in one day. Thanks to the publisher for providing an ARC....
I really enjoyed reading this book and finished it the very day I started it. The characters were likeable and the story was fun and uplifting. It’s a light hearted story & the ending might have been somewhat predictable but in a joyful way, I plan to find other books by Mallory so that is proof in itself how much I enjoyed it.
A funny smart read . How to find a rich husband because you are really poor . What will win the head or the heart ?
I received this novel from net galley and the publisher as an ARC. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Having lost her job and realised how broke she is, Janie cashes in her 401k and heads to Hawaii to try and find a rich husband. She has a list of men she wants to meet, and doesn't want to give the time of day to barman Mike no matter how much she finds herself frawn to him.
When she meets Colin she thinks she is in luck, but nothing goes according to plan and she ends up spending more time with Mike - he is keeping secrets from her so what will happen when she finds out who he really is?
Great read, looking forward to the next book in this series.
This book would be a perfect summer beach read! It was a lighthearted quick read. The Hawaii beach setting helped me escape reality for a bit while enjoying the book. Jane’s storyline is unrealistic and predictable but that’s what makes it so fun and light! Would definitely recommend as a summer read.
Thank you so much Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for providing me with a copy of this book in return for my honest opinion!

This book was so much fun!!! The premise of the plot feels ridiculous and gold digger esque but the way it is handled is very well down and disproves that idea. I absolutely devoured this book! I definitely need to read a sequel about Colin and Holly please!!!!
This is such a cute, fun book! I loved all of the characters and scenery, the author did a wonderful job of bringing them to life with her descriptions. I truly felt like I was there. This would make the perfect Hallmark movie!!
How Not to Marry a Billionaire by Ashlee Mallory
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book really allowed me to escape from reality and pretend I was on the beach in Hawaii! It had adventure, love, and humor all in one! I really enjoyed watching Janes character evolve from worrying only about money to really finding true love and happiness within a relationship. I absolutely loved this book!
If you love a good romantic comedy, add this book to your TBR list, you won’t regret it!
Synopsis:
Jane Carmichael is a 28 year old attorney that has a tremendous amount of student loan debt and other bills to pay. However, she is stuck at her current law firm being harassed by her boss.
She decides to leave her job and take a trip to Hawaii where she can find a billionaire to marry. As her mom said, “it’s as easy to fall in love with a rich guy as it is a poor guy.”
Jane heads to Hawaii and tries to win over a billionaire, but she also has noticed a handsome bartender that has his eyes on her. It’s only a matter of time before she realizes what’s more important: money or true love!
A very unrealistic but fun (and quick) read, How Not to Marry a Billionaire would make a great summer beach novel. Mike and Colin felt very one dimensional and could have used additional character development.
Kindly received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book delivers exactly what you would hope it does. An easy read, with likeable characters, the odd laugh and a fun plot. A perfect read for on a beach.
Fans of Giovanna Fletcher and Lindsey Kelk will enjoy this and I already can’t wait for the follow up.
