I requested this book on netgalley thinking it was thriller/ mystery, i didn't check the description, which in hindsight was a mistake, but anyway, what i got was:
A really hooking beginning, i liked the opening of the story, the suspense level was good, it had so much potential, the main characters were interesting, a cold-hearted assassin and a broken ex-soldier, could it get better? ....no.
After around 10 chapters, the storyline flattened, the book took a detour to being an erotica novel, it was vulgar for my tase to be honest, the book became all about sex and debauchery.
The secret identity of the assassin could be figured out easily from the middle chapters, the end was underwhelming considering the strong beginning.
Overall, not my taste.
