Hilarious, but i think a lot of people wouldn't get it. It will be a difficult handsell for sure, but it could hit a few niche readers.

You can totally trust that piece of glass in your pocket when anyone tells you they are not a wolf pretending to be a man. Embrace your inner ALL CAPS with the hilariously astute observations by @sickofwolves, a 5 STAR, CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE TREAT!

Fun read. An adult make your own adventure. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book. Also thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to the audiobook.

This was so much FUN! Not only was the choose-your-own-adventure format unexpected, the insights and outsider humor were well-drawn, and the characters were completely alive. I read each option through to its conclusion and couldn't pick a favorite - they were all satisfying!

My thanks to Netgalley and Andrews McMeel for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I am Not a Wolf, born from the Twitter account SickofWolves, is an interactive book in which you are a wolf pretending to be a man, trying to live his life as all humans do. At the end of every chapter, you have to choose out of two different options that will take you on very different paths, until your life as a wolf reaches its end and that too varies depending on your previous choices.

It was fun getting to choose my own adventure in this life as a human-wannabe wolf, and the way he tries really hard to understand men and be like them managed to make me laugh out loud at times. The story also includes some very good drawings by Sage Coffey.

I Am not a Wolf is a choose-your-own-adventure book. I was searching for this type of book lately, but it is not easy to find one. You flip the pages back and forth based on your decisions, and that's how you assemble your own story. The book format also includes a few funny illustrations.

I enjoyed the story and narration a lot. And I would recommend it to those who like choose-your-own-adventure books, or those who appreciate reading something different for entertainment.

Thanks to the publisher for the opportunity to read this! All opinions are my own.

I was looking forward to this as I’ve followed @SickOfWolves on twitter for years and always find it really funny. I was expecting this to be a one-page comic-style book (my fault for not reading the description properly) to match the brevity and surprise value of the twitter account. Unfortunately I wasn’t keen on the choose-your-own-adventure style, and worst of all it just wasn’t that funny.

I Am Not a Wolf was a very fun read! In this interactive book, the reader sees the world through a wolf-in-human-clothing's eyes. The ending I got was satisfying, and I've already reread for a few additional endings. Dan Sheehan's voice was well developed, and the wolf's feelings could be felt through the pages. I would recommend this to a friend who wants a fun read that's not lacking in stakes.
