29 C.E. Jerusalem. The Day of Atonement. The finding of a dead body beyond the temple veil in the synagogue is not just shocking, but sacrilegious. Loukas the physician and Gamaliel a rabbi have a tough job ahead of them to solve this murderous and destructive act. I’m not sure to be intrigued or dismayed. An interesting proposition although not for me. I think I missed a lot here by coming in on the third in the series.
