Cowboy's Pregnant Employee is a standalone romance by Mary Sue Jackson. I highly recommend reading this book!
The story was wonderful and I loved the characters! The romance was steamy and heart-warming. I hope there is more to come from Colton and Nora's story!
I'm so grateful to Mary Sue Jackson, Relay Publishing, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.
Is it obvious that one of my favorites love interests is a cowboy? 😅
One night changes both the lives of Colton and Nora. One who wants a family while the other is just starting with a new life.
Are they ready to be parents? 😉
This is another great collaboration of two romance authors.
Thank you Relay Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC!
Cowboy’s Pregnant Employee is an entertaining and well written romance. Well crafted plot and characters. I highly recommend this book.
This is a great book. Everything is going wrong for Colton until he meets Nora. They have differences but together they are one. They work together to strengthen their love n
A nice quick romance for the pregnancy trope.
At the beginning I didn't quite like the heroine and hero relationship because it felt kind of rush, but as the story progress we get to see glimpses of their relationship.
Definitely for a relaxing time and need for a sweet romance.
I received this arc for an honest review.
The story opens with Nora sitting at the bar looking for a change in her life after her ex-boyfriend has emptied her savings account and then added thirty thousand dollars in debt by using her name in credit card debt. Now wanting to change her life she spots a man comes walking in.
Colton a rancher who had a day when his sister told him that he had more pictures on his phone with a horse than people, so today he did many things one buys a motorcycle, then tried to make a deal with a neighbor about water rites and seeing Nora he strikes a conversation with her and later they end up spending the night together.
It is weeks later that Nora shows up for a job at a ranch looking for a housekeeper and a cook. Yes, Colton that same day also told his cook slash housekeeper that she put too much salt in the chili she quit that day. Now he also lost out on the water rites as well. Now he is looking at the woman who he is hiring and she has a surprise for him as well.
This turns out to be a very good story without going into so much detail. All of the characters are very good from the two main ones to his sister and the older neighbor who gives Colt words of wisdom. O overall a very good book.
Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. So of course I clicked on this novel to see what great author North was introducing! And I was happily surprised and very much entertained.
This is a predictable heart warming romance, but I liked the characters enough to continue reading it. I am still thinking about them. I was not happy with the ending; it left me wanting more. I hope there will be a sequel.
Following a one-night stand with a dreamy cowboy, Nora finds herself in his company again...as his housekeeper. To add insult to injury, she's pregnant with his baby. Meanwhile, Colton is determined to make things right and give the relationship a go for the sake of their child. However, he has professional concerns over the future of his farm, concerns that take precedence over developing their partnership. Can they find a balance that works for them and secure their future together?
I'll be frank...I didn't like Nora. The whining and complaining about a short-term inconveniences (like missing a craft class) and being prioritized above all other things at all times drove me absolutely nuts. I don't know; I just may not be as romantic as the average romance reader, but if my partner needed to focus on a short-term task in order to secure our long-term future...that would be more than fine with me. I get that "I don't want this to become a habit," but they were strangers .She has no idea if it's a habit. If this is the person you're considering spending the rest of your life with, then talk to them. Don't make secret lists and run off to your friend's house in a huff. Not my cup of tea.
Cowboy’s Pregnant Employee is a sweet easy read romance.
Colton and Nora are both at a place in their lives where everything seems to be going wrong.
They meet by pure chance and neither of them knew that one night would change their lives forever.
I am so glad I read this book and got to meet Colton and Nora. Taking a chance and stepping out of their comfort zones was a move they are both glad they did.
Thank you NetGalley, Mary Sue Jackson and Relay Publishing for this digital copy. This is my personal review.
This book was a page turner. The premise is probably quite familiar to anyone who reads a lot of romance novels: a relationship that starts with a one-night stand that leads to pregnancy then turns into love. But this author manages to breathe new life into the plot.
Really enjoyed this book.. It was a well written small town heartwarming story romance. Nora is leaving the town of Tucker Plains after visiting her friend and decides to stop at a local bar before her plane arrives early the next morning. She is in the process of reevaluating her life after her ex puts in debt for $30K after open up credit cards in her name. She meets Colton who is also in the process of reevaluating his life after his sister post pictures on the internet of his life showing its all about his horses. They have a one night stand that leads to Nora being pregnant. She accepts a job in Plentiful as a housekeeper not knowing it is her one night stand and that she is pregnant. What follows is wonderful story about compromise and falling in love. Highly recommend.
I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
The first chapter or so I was unsure if I was going to like this book but I am glad I stuck with it.
Colton is the kind of man any girl would wish to have in her life. Nora is searching for a happily ever after and there may have been some bumps in the road but theirs is a HEA story.
I am glad the Queen Bees were thrown in the picture and glad Nora didn’t let them prevent her from happiness.Great read!
5stars
A lovely story of two people coping together with an unexpected pregnancy. Nora goes to start work as a housekeeper for one night stand Colton, then discovers she is pregnant. It’s set in a small ranching town with a nosy network of townspeople who try to help the young couple. A great read for a wet Sunday afternoon.
Colton is so lucky the day that he meets Nora. Who'd guess that he'd get a family, housekeeper, party planner and the love of his life. I couldn't believe how patient Nora was with him. Cowboy's Pregnant Employee, is an awesome book.
This is a sweet romance set in a small ranching town. I did find the hero kind of annoying at times as he seemed so neglectful of his pregnant fiancée, but thankfully he got his act together and redeemed himself by the end of the book! I loved the descriptions of the ranch and town, which were so vividly portrayed as well as the wonderfully strong, female characters. I found the story very enjoyable and read the whole book in one go.
