I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

I liked this book enough to finish it. I loved how the misunderstandings and miscommunication weren't extreme like other books.
Willa was a nice character, she leans toward the boring side, she didn't have much layers and sometimes she felt two-dimensional.
Max wasn't really a good love interest, but that was due to the writing style. The author kind of watered down the edges of his character.
Some parts were repetitive, and the writing style was extremely descriptive, which made me skim big chunks of the book.
That said though, it wasn't the worst book I've read.

Office Romance for Max Prescott.
Willa and Kayla (Sebastian's fiancee, book 2) had scariest night of their lives. When Max and his brother came to rescue them from Sebastian's loan sharks, she was scared and wanted to forget her worries. Willa was seeking comfort and Max couldn't deny her and they slept together.
Ever since then, they were avoiding each other and solely focused on app they were both working on. They didn't want to face each other unless they are in a meeting. It was driving both crazy but Will won't beg and she was ready to move on.
When they were developing an app, they were beta testing on among office workers and Kayla found her match. Since it was just on app, she opened up to the person and revealed secrets. She couldn't wait to find out who that person could be until she really finds out who that was.
Max is grumpy and brooding most of the time. He has his reasons why he can't settle down and blames himself of what had happen to his past. Now he has more smiles because who he is talking on his app. He is happy but can he keep his happiness when he finds out who she is?
Will and Max are perfect together. Conversations and messages are cute. This is different take on office romance. I can't wait to read the next brother..

Since I have read almost every book in this series and I’ve read book #6 before book #3 (this one) and #4 (Lucian’s), I can honestly say this was my least favorite.

The tropes are secret romance, forbidden relationship (boss/employee), and secret online relationship/online dating.

Apparently, they both had the hots for each other but Max was too jaded from his past and didn’t want to do anything until he realized Willa is the girl who he exchange messages with on an app called Blind Love.

The problem I had with this book is that they were very much in love at half of the book even though there was no pinning after each other (like in book #4 – Lucian’s book). All obstacles to why they shouldn’t date were just suddenly removed after they were stuck in an elevator and realized they were each other’s match on the app. I didn’t feel connected to their romance for the rest of the book and Max’s reason why he was jaded and didn’t pursue relationships just didn’t seem big enough for me. So yeah, it was quite a dull book for me that even the steamy scenes didn’t make it better.

2-2.5 stars.

Another great story in the Prescott series of books.

You get some seriously deep emotional romance in this read, with erotically hot moments of sexual loving. Along with this comes the billionaire businessman lifestyle to give it a touch of richness in the scene settings.

With a happy ever after ending in this emotionally, romantic story.

I don't know where to start, I feel like too many things were missing and I understand that it's because I skipped two books, but at the same time those were themes that affect each character differently.

I would have liked it better if it delved into at least three of the topics it covers, Max's relationship with his parents, the in-app talks, and Max's trauma. A person doesn't change radically or overcome his traumas out of love, it can motivate him to change but only a professional can help. This book had a lot of potential.

One of the positive points were Lucian, my god, such a good character, I think I fell in love, I'd honestly like to read his book. Another positive point is that it's an easy read, not complicated at all and it's entertaining moments. Finally, the female lead, I thought she was a strong and determined woman, I hadn't read about it for quite a while and I liked it.

If you are looking for a light romance book that only entertains, you're in the right place.

Now I am seriously ecstatic that I did what I did, and read the two prior books before this release, otherwise... hmm, it's not genuinely hurtful if you DON'T read the others [because these can be "stand-alones"], but my lordy, did it help to get a real scope of the atmosphere and then whom "other players" are in Max & Willa's story.

The book really starts almost around a near-end portion in Book 2--Snowjob...and it was a pivotal scene/moment for one set of people and then, of course, this set of people. Because BOTH were becoming couples.

I think you might recall my review of Book 2 where the MCs... well, lemme rephrase, the male MC had made so many warning calls that "Shady People" would be after him...and they did come for someone he loved--his Lover/Girlfriend and her roommate, Willa. It was a seriously traumatic home invasion where the women thought they would die and were being held hostage...

So, yeah, this is our opening door into Book 3. An odd point to open because...wait, it's not too weird if a reader is coming from this moment in Book 2. Max and Willa almost drift off the page and go away separately, while the couple in Book 2 have their serious discussion and stuff. So, now we see the part we missed when Willa and Max exited Stage Left...

Max and Willa are Employer and Employee. They have been shown in each one of this series books- #1-2. More seriously at the end of Book 2 with the traumatic moment and then... we finally get not only their story but get into the nitty-gritty about why they BOTH have feelings for one another and when they were in a room or near one another, chemistry was off-the-charts. Or, at least, it permeated each scene that there was "something brewing" between them.

When Willa's life was held in the balance, Max suddenly comes head-to-heart with the idea... his employee means much more to him than just a passing fancy he can brush off.

What happens is...a one-off. It's tough to call it a One Night Stand, because Willa wanders in with hope in her heart, but a side-bar question this could be a pity-fuck.

And, yeah, even Max is in a slight quandary because while during the night into early morning he was "in" this sexual intimacy, by the time he awakens [and Willa awakens...]...it's a different ballgame. And he, literally, kicks Willa to the curb, quite coldly.

This book was not...hmm, how do I say this? This is normally a trope I like in my Romances--The Boss/Employee or Boss/Assistant or Boss/Secretary]. I am a horrible reader sometimes because there are moments when I will put on my own "writer cap" and predict an outcome.

Strangely, Tara Wyatt often blew me out of the water with her 180s, because she often never fell into formulaic tendencies. I enjoyed that because it made for a great read in some aspects.

In other ways...it fell into predictable, cookie-cutter means and, well... while sometimes the outcomes were different, the road leading toward it sometimes meandered the same as like-minded trope stories. I still managed to feel pleased with everything that ended up happening, and not disappointed in the least with future prospects.

One thing I will say about this series...and what Tara Wyatt does so well is she is sticking to her guns about this mix-matched family of Brother Prescotts. I love it, because I love the brotherhood and male-bonding.

With Two Bros already paired off [from Book 1-2]... there are two remaining...and my gawd it's sometimes so awesome to see them bond and go-to-bat for each other. I am seriously nearly about to explode because the last Bro...who has become my ultimate FAVE Prescott, Lucien...knocked it out of the park in this one, once again.

Lucien has one of the most charming scenes with Willa...where it's a small "pep talk" to her, because...wow, she is riddled with such insecurities. She really feels out-of-place at Max's side.

The other thing that Tara Wyatt does, which I love is...her minor characters pack punches. Yeah, there are ancillary characters that just become caricatures... like the Jealous Women Co-workers who horrifically gossip in the break-room behind Willa's back.

But we were introduced to some **NEW** characters in this one: I loved Brandon [gay, best friend, roommate of Willa's] and Elliott [ghosted Brandon; also Willa's gay brother]...and The 2 Prescott cousins we bumped into...my god... so many possible extensions into this series. Or more Prescott books after Lucien's.

Uhm, hmm...you already know how I feel about the sex portrayed in this series, so I won't beat the same drum. I will say this felt a little more purposeful and...grounded, though I did skim through some of the scenes as it felt a little overkill. I got the gist of what was happening between Willa and Max.

I liked the tiny sub-plot of...Willa & Max meeting Anonymously on a Dating App through their company... and having a 98% -match.

I did, though, get a bit uncomfy in the scenes where they were Anonymously chatting through the App...and, man, they were acting like HOW THEY SHOULD with one another...and had no idea. I got a weird second-hand embarrassment vibe because... man, was Max continuously shooting down Willa in REAL TIME... to then go to/run to the App to Chat with Willa [-who he only knew her by a False Username]...it felt like a very weird form of "cheating" even though Max & Willa are not dating... in a reader's "heart [and mind]" they are destined or fated... so, yeah... it felt odd to me...

I became a bit freaked out because it felt like Willa was about to give up on Max [in real life], but then try to finagle a serious "match" with Anonymous-Max, whom she believes is a complete stranger. Well, she DID know the whole Beta Test for the App was only other company employees, but she does not know EVERY MALE there.

hehehe, I know, I know... sounds confusing but... the same situation of the movie YOU GOT MAIL happens here...where Max & Willa have no idea it's the other person...and it breaks inhibitions, so they build a weird close friendship with NO ENTANGLEMENTS/NO HANGUPS...a clear conscience.

Luckily...wow, Tara Wyatt had an amazing "reveal" scene...which stunned me on some level. I had some idea the Anon-Chats would go on for much longer.

The other thing that stunned me was...the I LOVE YOUs came so early in the book and we had nearly half the book still to move through. This, of course, made my brain go... "uh, oh...a miscommunications gonna happen w/a mild break up" because Max & Willa's relationship was building to such a degree in only ONE MONTH's time. I had a different idea of how it would go, but then stealthy curveballs kept shocking me on so many levels.

This is not a bad book. And this is also not a god-awful series. I seem to be enjoying the even numbers more...as I hope Lucien's book is another 4.5-5star for me. Keeping my fingers crossed... because...he's been a HUGE selling point for me throughout this series... and my god does his cover make me drool...[there was a sneak peek in the back of this book, cover and excerpt... so "thanks, Tara Wyatt"]...

This is a great book. Hate to put it down. Max and Willa work together. They are beta testing a new dating app. They don’t realize the computer has put them together. They eventually find out and love one another.

This series just gets better and better! I LOVED Willa and Max so much. I also enjoyed the cameos from the other Prescotts. I cannot wait for the next book!

Love the characters. This was a first read from this author for me. I will be reading more. The storyline was great. I'm excited to read more. It kept me intrigued and entertained. Love Willa and Max.

As seems to happen with me I didn't realize this was part of a seies, but never fear it turns out I've read the first book in this series. You definitely don't have to read either of the previous books in this series to enjoy this book. I really have a love/hate relationship with these Prescotts brothers. They are all so damaged, but it's so encouraging when they try to step out of their comfort zones and give love/relationships a try.

This book started off rocky for me, and so much of the drama was literally on page one, but eventually I was rooting for both of them and I couldn't wait to see what happened and how they ended up together.

The Book “Love Bug” by Tara Wyatt is a really good read! I loved the dynamics between the two main characters and their story.

The trauma that the male lead has endured is something that is plausible and could really happen. So it makes the story not too fantastical, which I quite liked . And of course the dynamics between employee and employer! The female lead is with her job in a field most women are not very intriguing and I loved the aspect of the Dating App!

The premise is interesting. It's engaging right from the beginning. You won't be able to put it down once you started. I love Max and Willa. Their scenes together are sooo hot! I love it! And I definitely want to read more of this series!

I really got lost in the love story of Max and Willa. It was a beautifully written love story, and Max and Willa jumped off the page. It was my first book in the series and it was easy to jump into the world and I did not feel lost. I would highly recommend giving this book and author a try you will not regret it!

I am, possibly, being a little mean, giving this one only three stars. It's not that I didn't enjoy the book, I did, but there were things that I wasn't keen on. For a start, Max is not a particularly nice character. He treats Willa appallingly and even when we find out why he's being such a git, it doesn't really excuse him. In many ways, it makes his behaviour even worse. In some ways, it would have worked better if he had been the villain of the piece and realised what he'd missed out on when it was too late.
He did redeem himself somewhat as the story progressed, but even then it's Max who makes the mistake that threatens their whole relationship. Although he sets things right, even that takes a while. I might be being a bit harsh, but I think that if he hadn't already irritated me, I might have felt a little more kindly towards him.
Other than my issues with Max, I did enjoy the story (honestly!) I did think that things were left a little unresolved, in terms of the jealousy that Willa was facing. The ending did take me by surprise though, it seemed quite sudden and I had been expecting a little bit more of a wrap-up.
I think that lots of people will love this one, particularly if they have been following the series (which I haven't). It just wasn't quite it for me though, which was a bit of a shame.

Great story, super fast read, pretty steamy. This is about two people who both are very attracted to each other but both for different reasons think they shouldn’t be together. But after a serious event occurs they find each other in each other’s arms and bed. The struggle what to do now begins. Will either of them let down their walls and let the other in?

Tara Wyatt has done it again! This is the third book in The Prescotts series and I love this one even more than the last book.

Max and Willa's love story is beautiful and very well written. There is a little conflict as there needs to be in any romance novel to give the couple something to overcome, but most of this story is focused on them steaming up the page as a perfect couple in love.

I would give this 5 stars just for the excellent dirty talk in the sex scenes (which are plentiful). It was a rare treat to read a sex scene and not roll my eyes at ridiculous, over-the-top dirty talk. Again, kudos to the author!

While this book can be read as a stand alone, I encourage anyone who loves and Max & Willa's story to grab the rest of this series and read about the other Prescott brothers finding love. Lucian Prescott, my favorite secondary character in this series, will be getting his own shot at love in book four, Bad Intentions... expected publication date, June 29, 2021!!!

The story begins with Willa and her roommate being in danger and two of the Prescott brothers arrive in time to rescue them. One of the rescuers was Max, Willa’s boss. He runs the tech company Willa works for and conceived the idea for a Blind Date app Willa was in charge of and running beta testing.

I was a little disappointed because I had hoped for a little more danger and suspense in the story after that beginning. I liked the tech angle and the role of the Blind Date app. As far as characters go, Willa was easy to identify with in her frustrations and in her overall outlook on life. She could date a wealthy man and be gracious when he wanted to give her something. Max was harder to like for the first half of the book, but we learn why he’s so closed off.

I have read several of Tara Wyatt’s books and felt this one was a little off. I didn’t buy into the romance especially the notion that they were hot for each other from the start and never acknowledged it. The mean girls at the office and some of the MoMa gala had my favorite kinds of drama bringing out jealousy and protectiveness, though.

This is an important book in the series to read. The much awaited book about Lucian is next and each of the brothers Prescott stories has dropped teases about this mysterious brother.
