Lora Leigh can write steamy cowboy romance!!! I love when a proper heroine gets swept away by a bad boy. Always so much fun! Loved Lily and Levi together!
He will risk his life…
The oh-so-proper school teacher, Lily Donovan has learned, the hard way, that men are not to be trusted. Period. Until Levi Roberts, the new cowboy working at her cousin's ranch, tempts her carefully-built resolve and awakens an all-consuming passion she thought lay dormant. But when she discovers his deadly secret, and her own secrets come to light, Lily unwittingly joins the lethal cat and mouse race between Levi and the man he’s been hunting for weeks.
To save her heart…
Former Ranger Levi Roberts has seen his fair share of deadly trouble during his years as a tough-as-nails operative. The ultimate expert in undercover investigations, he’s been tasked to find a man with a dangerous agenda in town. Routine work has been boring…until he runs into Lily, the prickly school teacher who tempts him like no other. Getting under her skin has been deliciously satisfying for his red-hot desire, but when Lily lands in the hands of the very man he’s been investigating, Levi will have to fight with every ounce of his heart and soul to save her—and to heal the heart he broke.
Lora Leigh is a fairly new to me author but I have enjoyed the stories in the Moving Violations series and this one is no exception. A touch of suspense, a lot of steamy romance, and an intriguing plot kept me engaged right from the start. Overall, this was a great story.
If you like cowboys and romance book then I think you might enjoy this one.
I did enjoy this book very much . Well written story
Lilly Donovan is a shell of a woman. The only thing that brings her joy is teaching her 2nd grade class. She misses the carefree, take no punches from anyone, person. Now that the person who took those things from her has escaped, she lives in more fear. Levi Roberts is an undercover US Marshall. His job is to protect Lily. He never planned to fall in love with her. Each day brings them closer together but the past is coming for her. When all the secrets are revealed, Levi will do anything to keep her safe. Two stubborn people who fell in love and would do anything for each other.
Her Renegade Cowboy is a wonderful story from this talented author who consistently writes five star reads. It has endearing characters that pull you in and keeps you captivated until the end.
I love this author's books and was delighted when my daughter told me that she had a new release!
I thought that this was a brilliant book, it had an exciting storyline and it was full of truth, dare, romance and it was a really sexy read - the author had the perfect writing style for this story
I loved the pace, it was a story that drew me in and held my attention to the end - it was a perfect book and everything worked for me and it was just what I look for in a book too
It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended!!
Lily Donovan, Jacob's niece (Jacob from book 2), and she has survived a trauma that no one but her sister know about. She is a school teacher in town and was just notified that the man who assaulted her and went to prison has escaped. The Marshalls want her to go into protective custody but she refuses. Levi is the newest cowboy at Jacob's ranch and no one knows he really is an undercover US Marshall sent to protect Lily and watch for the escaped prisoner. There are definite sparks between the two but when Levi tries to get close Lily pushes him away but he is persistent until she finally gives in. When Lily is attacked, it is Levi who protects her. How will she react when she finds out who he really is? Will they survive that?

Great story of romantic suspense. It was a fun read and a great afternoon escape.
Many thanks to St. Martin’s Press and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
Her Renegade Cowboy is the third book in Lora Leigh’s Moving Violations series. Lily Donovan, a young elementary teacher, came home from college after a traumatic event and was able to complete her coursework online and do her student teaching locally before being in charge of her own classroom. A lot changed after what happened and the testimony she gave to put a dangerous psychopath behind bars forever. Lily was still brash and forthright but she had constructed walls, only allowing a select few inside to understand her horror. When Lily receives a call from the U.S. Marshall’s office telling her the monster had escaped from prison and offering her federal protection, although fearful that he will seek revenge, she refuses to give up her freedom, her family, and her friends.
Levi Roberts, retired Army Ranger, current U.S. Marshall, is sent to Deer Haven to keep an eye on Lily. His undercover job is as a ranch worker on her cousin Jacob’s ranch. When Levi and Lily first meet it seems like oil and water but that soon changes. As they become closer, breaking so many rules, Levi vows to protect Lily at all costs. When the psychopath closes in Levi is set to make good on his promise.
This is a very interesting and enticing story that takes the reader from the depth of fear perpetrating from the actions of a psychopath to the heights of finding one’s love. This story has engaging characters and an extraordinary story from Ms. Leigh. She has woven a page turning tale that I did enjoy. I do recommend this book!

M/F Romance
Lily is just trying to put the past behind her. She loves her family and her job. Knowing that she escaped her own death, and at such a young age, has shaped her ability to trust, in a negative way. Even though she's trying to get on with her life, she can't help but be slightly envious of those around her who have a loving partner and family.
Levi is a rugged, alpha male who knows what he wants and throws caution to the wind when he sees Lily for the first time. Despite his role on the ranch, who his boss is, and his true purpose for wanting to work there, Levi can't help himself. Lily is a challenge for him, and he is intent on making her see how good they can be together.
In order for Lily to truly move forward, she has to face her past. In seeing where she's come from, she can clearly see where she's headed.
This was a slow-burn romance between Lily and Levi. I'll admit that they fit fairly well together. I wish that we knew a little more about her past, but given the story, I enjoyed these characters a lot.
I can't wait to see what happens next and hope that Justice and his brothers leave poor Lily alone. They were very annoying.
Triggers: Stalking, Kidnapping.

This is the third book in the series, but I think you can read it as a standalone without worrying too much about what happened in earlier books. That said, they are good reads, so you may well go back and read them later.
Because the man she helped put away has escaped, Lily is in danger, but refuses to go into WITSEC and chooses not to tell anyone around her either. Levi is sent in undercover to try and keep her safe. Inevitably as they get closer, they are both holding onto secrets, although Levi knows hers, when his come out, we know there will be trouble in their burgeoning relationship.
Whilst this is definitely a romantic suspense, the suspense is definitely tempered by the two of them enjoying each other a lot! That said, the tension of waiting for the anticipated arrival of the escapee does keep the reader, and Lily, on edge for a lot of the book!
A sexy, enjoyable read, which I would definitely recommend.
Nope. Hard pass on this one. A female who makes TSTL decisions. little to no character development and the main characters jumped into bed pretty quickly considering Lily is still getting over her trauma.
Lora Leigh has proven herself to be the go-to for steamy reads filled with perfectly developed characters, great storylines, and hot, sexy scenes! In Her Renegade Cowboy, Leigh doesn't disappoint, once again drawing the reader in and holding on tight until the end. The chemistry between Levi and Lily is palpable and lustful but could have used some romantic build up before the sex kicked in and jumped straight to high gear.
Although more of an erotica than a romance, I enjoyed this 3rd installation in the Moving Violations series. As a stand alone read in the series, it held up well on its own. Many thanks to NetGalley and St. Martins Press for the opportunity to read for review this ARC. All opinions expressed are authentically my own.
It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book by this author, so when I was given the opportunity to review this story, I jumped at the chance. I love strong willed women in stories, makes for some pretty good reading, especially when they meet up with hot cowboys that will make your knees go weak. Levi and Lily are two very unlikely people to hit it off, but boy do these two have some pretty steamy chemistry. Loved the built up anticipation that you got from this story, and although the book was really long in some spots, the ending made up for it in suspense. Could have knocked off a chapter or two with Lily’s indecisiveness and always questioning her feelings on her situation, but it was a great story overall. Great backdrop and characters, loved the story a lot.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
This was definitely a hot and suspenseful read. Once Lily got out of her own way, she and Levi burned up the pages. Between the twist I didn’t see coming and waiting for the other shoe to drop, I couldn’t put this down!
4 stars!

I have to admit that Lora Leigh is a hit or miss author for me and this one was a miss and I DNF’d at 25%. The heroine had gone through trauma of some kind and even though the hero guessed this he was still all alpha and kept pushing her for physical intimacies which kind of just rubbed me the wrong way. Also the author didn’t appear as sensitive to the subject of an attack in the portion of the book that I read 🤷🏻♀️.
I read this book in one sitting. Not my favorite Lora Leigh I will be totally honest, but still enjoyable. Lily has hid a good portion of her past from everyone, and this omission could be the death of her. Levi is her knight in shining armor. Levi and Lily have an undeniable attraction to each other. That part is hot and typical Lora Leigh. However there are some plot holes as to Levi, his background and the overall character.
Overall, could use some structure reviews but not a bad book. Hope the next one is a little less swiss cheese.
I am really enjoying reading new authors and this is really good, it has great characters and an interesting storyline, and an alpha cowboy, what more could I ask for.
The final book in the Moving Violations trilogy, Her Renegade Cowboy by Lora Leigh concludes with the cowboy protecting and falling in love with the feisty school teacher.
After suffering through a devastating tragedy in college Lily Donovan returned home trying to put it all behind her. That tragedy taught a valuable lesson about trust. This new cowboy that shows up will put that trust to the test.
Former Ranger Levi Roberts is working as a cowboy with an ulterior motive. Meeting Lily changes all his perspectives. He never expected to fall for the feisty school teacher. But once his true reason for being there is revealed everything will be put in jeopardy.
If you want emotion, steamy and sweet romance, action, danger, lies, and truth in a small town filled with cowboys, get HER RENEGADE COWBOY by Lora Leigh and enjoy!

This book was a mistake for me, and probably should have stopped after a few chapters. I regret not DNFing Her Renegade Cowboy. I thought this would have more suspense than what was in here. However, you know what got me to read this book was the cover, and the promising book blurb.
Yes, Levi Roberts is an undercover US Marshall, and former Army Ranger. He's playing a cowboy on Lily's cousin's ranch. He's not there most of time cause he's at Lily's house getting it on. Lily is a school teacher. You are probably thinking she's sweet and kind. Wrong! She's sassy, and a firer ball. She could be with her students, but you don't really see her interacting with her students.
Majority of this book takes place around Lily's house. Honestly, you don't really feel the impending doom that her life is in until the last portions of the book. I probably should have put this story down, after the first time. I trudged on trying to read the story. If you are looking for a story that has more suspense you aren't going to find it here. Now if you are looking for hot steamy read, and not really going anywhere, this my friend is your read.
