I enjoyed this one just as much as the first one. Anyone who loves unicorns will love this book. It is fun, and I think would work well as a read aloud for future storytimes.
Unicorn Night is a fun little rhyming bedtime story that shows you the unicorns performing their bedtime routine after a long day of fun and play. The illustrations are colorful and humorous. It is perfect for any child who enjoys unicorns and any parent who needs their little unicorn to get into bed without a fight.
Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.
This is a super cute children's story perfect for bedtime. It includes fun, colourful pages, lots of unicorns, a rhythm that slows down and leads into quiet time to sleep, and a cute little bedtime sleep song. If you're tired of "Goodnight Moon" (who isn't?!) I would recommend trying out Unicorn Night. If nothing else it can be at least a one night break and maybe more.
I would recommend this one for any child under about 5 years of age. 3 years old feels like the perfect spot here to appreciate the unicorns, the song, etc. but still not too old to be done with bedtime singing or hard book children's stories.
Please note: I received an eARC from the publisher via NetGalley. This is an honest and unbiased review.
Unicorn night shows how unicorns get ready for bedtime. This is such an adorable story woth magnificent illustrations. I loved the Unicorns singing the other creatures to sleep.
I absolutely loved this book. It was full of fun rhyming and in-your-face bright and colorful illustrations and I enjoyed every second of it.
This was such an adorable story and my 5 year old loved seeing all the pictures! It was perfect for his bedtime and we both had fun reading it!
A delightfully colourful read aloud perfect for bedtime for toddlers.
“Unicorn Night” is sure to please kiddos as they wind down at night and cuddle in for a sleep.
I had a good time reading this book. We saw the day come to a close for these mythical creatures which meant it was time for bed. A wonderful lullaby was sung to help move this process along. We see each creature get tucked in and prepare themselves for sweet dreams. This is a book that all ages will have a blast reading together.

What a super cute bedtime book for unicorn lovers. My son and I had fun singing along with the unicorn lullaby. The art is super bubbly and fun and of course, there is glitter. We loved how the unicorns sing their song to everyone.
In my school library, unicorns are very popular right now. It can be hard to find a good unicorn picture book, but fortunately the problem is solved with this delightful story! I loved "Unicorn Night". It's a nice rhyming story that you can use at bedtime or during any read aloud time. The illustrations are colorful and vibrant. It is the perfect companion to "Unicorn Day".
I received an electronic ARC from Sourcebooks Jabberwocky through NetGalley.
Brightly colored illustrations draw readers in immediately as they see the unicorns enjoying a party and playing all day. Then the mood switches as unicorns get tired and prepare for bed. Everyone is almost asleep when they realize they have not sung their unicorn song. The rhythmic text throughout is simple for young readers to follow and read/sing along. A fun book to read at bedtime or simply to have fun as a family.
Wow, “Unicorn Night” is a beautiful children’s book that is a feel good story that kids can relate to. The addition of a song is a great opportunity for adults to sing to the little ones at bed time. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and filled with color and movement. A wonderful book
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.

This is a children's book that me and my daughter read to my twin boys. All three of my kids loved this book. I think it is very cute and fun book with some very cute pictures. There is no message in this book. This book is just a cute story that kids will enjoy reading. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Sourcebooks Jabberwocky) or author (Diana Murray) via NetGalley, so I can give honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
I am always looking for books to read for story time. I see this as a wonderful book for the themes of unicorns and bedtime. The singing of the song as an interaction within in the telling would be wonderful to teach.
I am a huge fan of Unicorn Day, it's always a huge hit during storytimes so I was so excited to read Unicorn Night! Just as wonderful as the first one and would be perfect bedtime story for your little one.
We loved sharing Unicorn Night with the family at bedtime. Unicorns are all the buzz, and on this night, they take over for some fun and frolicking...not sleeping!

5 stars!
Ohhh my stars! I am bursting and overwhelmed with love and happiness from such an amazing book!
The colours are 100% perfect! They are absolutely gorgeous. The details of the illustrations have such a softness to them.
This book has such a lovely comfort feel to it and perfect for a bedtime read.
I know little Rachel would have absolutely adored this and it would have been one of her favorites.
Definitely highly recommend, expecually if your child (or you!) love Unicorns. This, in my opinion, won't disappoint.
Another wonderful children’s title by Diana Murray! My daughter loved her first book, Unicorn Day, so after getting a preview of Unicorn Night, she was so giddy. We read it at bedtime and she enjoyed all of the bright illustrations, as well as all of the fun routines the unicorns did to get ready for bed that are similar to hers. The text was easy to follow along for a five year old and brought out the fun, magical appeal which draws children to unicorns. This was an uplifting book, perfect for bedtime that I could see us reading over and over in our rotation!
This was a nice continuation of Unicorn Day. Unicorn Day is one of my daughter’s favorite books. She was excited to read this bedtime version. It’s a perfect book to read to a 3-5 year old for bedtime. It is an easy read and includes lots of rhyming and songs.
