I really enjoyed this book! It was informative and took a holistic health approach. Hormones are so important to the body's functioning so this book is a great guide on general health.

This book came at the perfect time for me. I have been dealing with all kinds of uncomfortable symptoms and I wanted to implement more holistic approaches to balancing my hormones and dealing with an autoimmune disease. I will continue to reference this book, and have already made changes to my diet that I think has helped! Completely recommend for those wanting a better understanding of how they can make changes in their diet and lifestyle to balance hormones.

If you're a woman of a certain age or even younger, I recommend this book. The fact that it calls itself The Hormone Bible, feels like a very true statement. Being a woman of a certain age and having to research so much of the stuff on my own this book would have been so handy to have for years ago. Our hormones affect so much of our bodies and everything that makes us women causes us havoc at some point. If you can learn now before you come close to perimenopause that makes you so much wiser than the people before you and wisdom is a good thing and this book provides so much of it. You don't even need to be going through perimenopause or menopause This book can help you figure out that your hormones are out of whack and things that you can do for it there's several different things and this book just has everything. So many doctors dismiss hormonal fluctuations they dismiss a symptoms of perimenopause, PCOS, menopause and sometimes they blame it when it's not even there. Dealing with doctors is very much a catch-22 and finding one that will listen to you This book provides you with the information you need before you see a provider. I cannot recommend this book enough.

This book is a great resource for those diving into the knowledge of hormones and how they effect our bodies and lives. I highly suggest you pick this one up. Gives easy to understand explanations of hormones and the role they play in our bodies!
This will be a reference tool that I look back on as I continue my adult journey in health.

This is a well-organized, well-researched mind/body approach to women's health. This book came along at the perfect time for me as I am just coming out of a long haul with COVID and am suffering from extreme fatigue. I took the quiz linked in the book and followed my results through the SHINES Protocol and it fit perfectly with my recent lab work and diagnosis. It helped me formulate questions to ask when I have my next doctor's appointment and supported much of her recent findings. As with any health & wellness title, I'm sure others will have a different experience. This title combines traditional medical treatment with herbal supplements, nutrition, exercise, aromatherapy recommendations, and more--each customized to fit the hormonal needs of the individual. I loved the layout of the book and appreciated the thorough bibliography and recommended readings as well as the index.
