Lentil Soup by Carole Tremblay and Maureen Poignonec is a wonderful children's book that will encourage kids to consider where their food comes from. While waiting for their soup to cool down, siblings discuss where each ingredient originated. Lentil Soup is funny and informative and is wonderfully illustrated.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Orca Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a children's book. This is a fun, cute book. It's true-children ask endless questions. Loved the hint of humor. Truly fun and nice graphics. 4 stars

Cute story! I am sure curious children will want to know where their soup comes from, too! Good book to share while making the soup. Recipe at end of story. Love the simple illustrations. I think preschoolers-2nd graders would enjoy this story along with a cooking lesson. There really is nothing like a picture book that includes a recipe! Kudos author and illustrator! (BTW- my favorite soup!)

I think this is such a cute book! It teaches you a lot from the answers to the questions the kid asks. The illustrations were great, and I think the wording was perfect for kids!

This is a book that parents may not love reading because it is full of questions, but that kids will enjoy and may even spark more questions from them! I really liked the illustrations and felt that a lot is learned in reading this book. I liked the recipe at the end too. This is a cute book that should be read with patience.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!
