So, so , so good! I loved this sweet story! Completely predictable in the very best way! The audiobook and the printed book are equally good! Great summer read for people that love a good clean romance.

Doesn’t every little girl dream of being a princess when they’re grown up? Well in Once Upon A Royal Summer Lacey Pope gets to be Princess Sweet Pea in a magical Florida theme park, This is the perfect role for Lacey, who brings smiles to plenty of faces as she welcomes visitors to her tea parties, teaches people to waltz and instructs them in the rules of being royal, rules like “Make friends with birds and butterflies” and “Always be kind”. I just loved her. Crown Prince Henry Frederick Augustus Rainier Chevalier is widower with a six year old daughter whom he loves to bits. He wants to give Rose an experience of childhood for her seventh birthday, a complete change from their royal palace and all its associated rules. I loved that despite being a royal with many commitments he loved his daughter to bits and wanted to make her life as normal as possible, including offering her a theme park visit for her birthday. This story was a truly charming twist on two of my favourite fairytales, Cinderella and The Princess and the Pea. I smiled my way through the book and was sorry to say goodbye at the end.

Once Upon A Royal Summer is as cute as the cover. This is over the top cliche, silly, sweet, clean and adorable. So if you want a realistic romance this is not it. If you are happy with putting your brain on hold and enjoying a Hallmark sweet story, you will love this.
Henry the Royal Prince of Bella_Mortiz (near Nice) brings his daughter the Princess Rose to an American theme park for her seventh birthday. There he meets Lacey who plays Princess Sweet Pea at the park. When Rose is enchanted with the Princess the park managers arrange for Lacey in full costume to lead the VIPs around the park.
I would have liked for Henry and Lacey to have a little more time together or maybe go on an actual date. But I love Lacey's kindness and her falling back on her Princess ideals to help the royal family. The entire book only covers a few weeks and of course ends unrealistically with a potential HEA. But I enjoyed this easy short read and read it in just a couple of hours. Thank you to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for an ARC ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This is a very sweet royal novel that reads like a hallmark movie. Lacey loves playing a princess at the Once Upon A Time Theme Park. It reads like a Disney park but with fairy tale creatures and stories instead. It definitely a feel good romance with a dashing single dad prince and a little girl that yearns for more family time. When Henry ends up at the theme park he thought he was giving Rose the best birthday party ever but he got more in return.

A theme park princess and a real-life prince fall in love! This had a lot of things I loved including a theme park setting, Florida, and a made-up European country. The relationship developed in the first half between Lacey and Henry was adorable. Their join concern about his daughter Rose had me going "awwww." It felt like both of the MCs were well developed and had interesting backstories that shaped their current actions.
Highly recommend for any lover of Hallmark movies, sweet romance, and theme park love.
I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Well this was adorable! A perfect quick, fluffy, summer read that made me smile the entire time!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced digital copy of this book.

Thank you to NetGalley, Teri Wilson and Hallmark Publishing for the opportunity to read this book.
I enjoy how Teri Wilson can write such a sweet romance, and a perfect one for the summer.
Once Upon A Time there was a young woman who love her job as a princess in a fairytale theme park, till somethings don't go as she thought with her boyfriend, but she knows her job is important for her.
What she was not expecting was that for a few days she will be the host of a very important guest in her theme park: a real Prince with her 6 year old adorable daughter. Henry just wants a few days for her dauther to have a life like a normal kids, not to feel the preasure of a mini adult. What he's not expecting is how much their host is going to change their lives.
I enjoyed it. It would be an interesting book for a Hallmark movie. the only things missing would be more scenes. I want to know more, the end is too short for this lovely couple. Hope there is a sequel?

Lacey Pope spends her days playing make-believe, as resident princess at a major Florida theme park. When a real prince brings his daughter to visit the park as a birthday gift, Lacey is roped into being their VIP tour guide, and love starts to blossom between Lacey and Prince Henry.
This is SUPER sweet. Like candyfloss tooth rotting stuff… but there are a few deeper messages hidden beneath all the glitter. Like kindness and integrity being the kind of character traits which mark true nobility of character, no matter what kind of family you happen to have been born into.
It’s VERY Hallmark, by which I mean it’s so squeaky clean that the first time the romantic couple kiss is at the very end of the book, AFTER the marriage proposal, which… honestly feels pretty unrealistic in today’s world. Who proposes, claiming to be in love with someone, having never even kissed them? In a fairy-tale romance, that felt like the most contrived part. However, if you’re looking for a super-clean romance to give to a tween or young teen who’s interested in reading romance, for example, this would probably be right up their street.
I read an ARC which had a few odd errors, like the character Madeline’s name randomly changing to Madison a few times, but I’ll give the publisher the benefit of the doubt and assume these will be corrected by the time of publication. Four stars for a very sweet, fairytale royal romance.

I understand that hallmark type books are cheesy in the over the top lovey dovey acts, but this book ending ruined the whole book for me honestly. Not even slightly realiStic and just so over the top to have the character trying to run away over a dress and then the ending before either has ever kissed or admitted their feelings immediately proposing was just awful.

As a Disney Parks fan, I will read any book that takes place at a theme park in Florida. I enjoyed this super sweet romance. It has the best friend, cute kid, fun setting, forbidden romance with a happily ever after. You get the story from both character perspectives, which I really like in a romance novel. This one was fun and if you are a Disney fan, it is a must read. I’d love to see it made into an actual Hallmark movie (taking place during Christmas of course).

A sweet and cozy enjoyable story. It's a combination of Disney and Hallmark feel to it. When a woman who plays a princess at a theme park meets a real prince with a sweet 7 yr. old daughter, you find yourself lost in the fantasy and like to believe dreams do come true and wonder ....will they live happily ever after.
A nice, heartwarming , sweet story that is a great feel good book to read and enjoy.

Once Upon A Royal Summer is a very well written romance. Loved the plot, characters and setting. Romance readers will enjoy this book.

This book is exactly the book you would expect from Hallmark Publishing.
I decided to try it on a whim because I had heard good things about Teri Wilson's writing (Accidental Beauty Queen is on my TBR!) and I loved the premise: a theme park princess falling for a real prince! But I do think this would have been better enjoyed as a Hallmark movie, where it's easier to suspend reality when swathed in the visuals of castles and frothy ballgowns.
But in the end, I did enjoy this book. It was light and fluffy, extremely feel-good. A hot widowed prince with an adorable daughter and a theme park princess with a heart of gold? What's not to love?
If I had one critique, it would be the ending. SPOILER ALERT, but it ends in an engagement. After they're known each other two weeks. And I don't think they were even dating any of that time? And he's a crown prince. I mean, come on. That's just nonsensical. I would have been just as happy--even happier--if they had just decided to start a relationship. Would have made the entire story a modicum more plausible.
Thanks to Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for my eARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
4 stars - 6/10

I adore Hallmark movies and this was my first book from Hallmark Publishing. It did not disappoint! This is a book for readers who like predictable, romantic, happily-ever-after books.
Henry, HRH of Bella-Mortiz (in France), takes his daughter, Rose, to an American theme park for her 7th birthday. There, they meet Lacey, who plays Princess Sweet Pea at the park. Lacey is unexpectedly requested by the park CEO to be the VIP escort for Rose and Henry. The sparks fly and Lacey ends up falling for Henry and Rose when visiting the palace in France.
This is a mixture of all different fairy tales with a real-life Prince Charming ending! My only “complaint” is the first part of the book resembled Disney World a little to closely for my liking. In my opinion, I think the park should have been set in New England, not Florida, to set it apart. This is a total personal preference so take it a grain of salt 😉.

If you are looking for a light-hearted contemporary clean romance, this book is for you!
This was exactly what I was looking for when I picked up to read this book. The characters, writing, and storyline had me grinning and swooning throughout this entire book, which means I had to finish it in one sitting!
Lacy had always wanted to be a theme park princess ever since she was a little girl and some theme park princesses would spend time with her during her mother's treatments at the hospital. While having her daily tea party at the theme park, Lacy is soon to come face-to-face with a real prince. Royal Crown Prince Henry and his darling daughter, Princess Rose are visiting the theme park in celebration of his daughter's sixth birthday as well as a get away from the royal duties. Prince Henry has lived as a widow for a few years and is in not hurry to find a wife. But all that will change when he sweeps Princess Sweet Pea into a dreamy waltz. Willing to do whatever he can to make the royals' visit a great success, Lacy's boss tells Lacy to serve as their guide through the park for the duration of their visit. Soon Lacy and Henry find themselves drawn to one another. Can a real prince find his princess in a theme park?
I could not help but be drawn into the story. The characters were well developed and realistic. I loved the first meeting between Lacy, Rose, and Henry. I was feeling the second hand embarrassment as I facepalmed throughout that scene. Henry was such a swoon worthy hero. I appreciated how much he wanted to give his daughter as normal of a childhood as possible. Rose was so down to earth! She brought such joy and happiness to all of the scenes. I liked their time spent in Henry's country! That ending was the HEA Lacy and Henry deserved. Overall, I would not mind seeing this book turn into a movie! I would recommend this book for those who love the Hallmark channel or are looking for a great summer beach read!

This story was very sweet and cute. I liked that some of the story of the Princess and the Pea was mimicked by the Prince of Bella-Moritz. It was cute how the Prince took his daughter to Once Upon a Time Amusement Park for her birthday, even though his mother, the Queen was not too happy about it.
I liked that the Prince and his daughter, Rose met Lacey, dressed up as Princess Sweet Pea when they attended the tea party. I thought it was funny that she thought of the Prince as Grumpy Baseball Cap. I enjoyed how the story was a modern day version of a fairy tale because dreams really do come true for Lacey, the Prince, and Rose. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Lacey is known as The Princess Sweet Pea, because she is a princess in the theme park where she works. She has a relationship, but it is not how she imagine, and she is not happy with him. So, one day while she is working, a mysterious person dance with her in the morning ball. What she doesn´t know is that he is the prince Henry of Bella-Moritz trying to have a peaceful vacation with her daughter as a normal family. The love will bloom.
This is a typical Hallmark story. It has a lot of cliches, but this story is sweet and cheesy. The story is not too deep, and that it makes it easygoing, and you have a good laugh. I like that the main characters have this moment go to hate to love and how they make a deep connection and understanding with each other. This book makes me want to go to Bella-Mortitz to see their festival and enjoy a beautiful city. This book has a lot of good jokes and I recommend it to every person who wants to fall in love this summer.

I loved the premise of a girl playing a theme park princess meeting a real-life prince and the story lived up to my hopes for it! I was a little shocked at how fast the ending came, but I was satisfied by it. This was a sweet and clean read, I'd rate it G for some kissing.

Lacey is living the dream as a fairy-tale princess at a theme park in Florida. She loves her job and getting to interact with all the little children. She would love a family of her own on day, but for now, being a princess is her life. When she meets a special little girl and her grumpy father, Lacey has no idea how her life is about to change.
Henry is the crown prince of Bella-Moritz and is in Florida with his young daughter for her birthday. He wants her to have a regular childhood outside of the palace. When she meets Princess Sweet Pea, she is beyond excited. The holiday is just what the Prince and Princess needed in more ways than one.
This was just the sweetest story. I loved Rose, the little girl, Lacey and Henry’s characters. They were just perfect for this royal romance. Teri Wilson wrote the story so beautifully, and I could see this made into a Harlequin movie. It is just a feel good, fall in love kind of book that makes you smile. I absolutely loved getting lost in the book and the romance. Thank you, Harlequin Publishing, Teri Wilson and Netgalley for an advanced readers copy to read and review. All the thoughts and opinions are entirely my ow

This was a fun and sweet book. Lacey is a theme park princess, Princess Sweet Pea, who loves her work, especially the smiles on the faces of the children she meets. When Lacey was a little girl, her mother became very ill, and Lacey spent a lot of time at the hospital with her. The theme park princesses used to visit the children, and Lacey grew up wanting to be one of those princesses. The only downside is that Lacey's boyfriend and his mother aren't impressed with her choice. That comes to an end when Lacey calls it quits on their relationship after one too many put-downs.
Henry is the crown prince of a tiny Mediterranean country. His wife died four years earlier, leaving him the single father of a little girl. Henry struggles to give Rose as normal a childhood as possible, frequently over the objections of his mother, the Queen. Finally, with a critical royal event coming up and Rose fighting her part in it, Henry decides the two of them need to get away for a few days. Rose's seventh birthday is in a few days, so Henry takes her to an American amusement park. The first day they arrive, they go to the park incognito, pretending to be an ordinary dad and daughter.
I loved Henry and his determination to give Rose as ordinary a life as possible. He remembers his childhood loneliness and wants something better for her. I enjoyed the scenes where he stood up to his mother and insisted on public school and again when he informed her of their trip.
I loved the first meeting between Lacey, Henry, and Rose. Henry took Rose to Princess Sweet Pea's tea party, and when Lacey made the rounds of the tables, she and Rose immediately bonded. Henry was a touch cynical and mocking and soon found himself called upon to dance with the princess. Lacey thought she'd show him up, and instead, he blew her away with his dancing skills, not to mention the electricity that zapped between them. Lacey thought she wouldn't see them again - until the following day when she discovered that Princess Sweet Pea would spend the next few days escorting them around the park!
The days at the park enhance the connection between Lacey and Rose, who bond over all things princessy. Rose is adorable in her enthusiasm and hero-worship of Lacey. There's a heartwarming scene where she sees Lacey interacting with a girl in a wheelchair and can't help reaching out herself. Meanwhile, Lacey and Henry discover how easy it is to open up to each other, and the sparks between them continue to grow. I loved how Henry shared his worry over Rose's new fear of riding her pony and the brilliant way that Lacey found to help. Henry didn't want to say goodbye to Lacey and impulsively invited her and her friend Ava to come to his country for the Flower Festival and Ball. His argument? "The royal ball?" she sputtered. "A real royal ball." Henry gave her a half-shrug. "We've danced in your castle. It seems only fair that we should dance in mine."
Lacey is equally excited and terrified to go to Bella-Moritz. She knows in her heart that there's no way a commoner and a prince can be anything more than friends, but that doesn't stop a tiny spark of hope. Henry and Rose are visibly happy to have Lacey there, though the Queen appears less so. Henry takes great delight in showing Lacey around, and it's easy to see where his heart lies. Lacey experiences a few awkward moments, especially around the Queen, but her enthusiasm remains high. Her innate kindness and ability to think of others lead her to a couple of terrific "Lacey to the rescue" moments. I ached for Lacey when a pre-ball disaster struck, leaving her heartbroken. Help came from an unexpected source, setting Lacey up for an incredible Cinderella-like moment. Henry's big moment was fantastic.
I enjoyed the secondary characters almost as much as the main characters. Rose was adorable. She wasn't too good, given her resistance to the pony thing, but her heart is just as big as her dad's. I loved how she connected with Lacey and the fun they had together. I also liked Henry's bodyguard, Ian. He is just as much friend as bodyguard, and he immediately notices the effect Lacey has on Henry. Lacey's best friend, Ava, was fun. I liked how well she knew Lacey and her support after Lacey's breakup. She was almost as excited as Lacey about their trip, and even more so once she laid eyes on Ian. Finally, the Queen was the biggest surprise. Her early appearances in the book made her seem stiff, cold, and autocratic, especially when it came to Rose's schooling. I worried a little at her first reaction to Lacey. But as the visit went on, I saw a different side to her. In the end, I thought that her heart was almost as big as Henry's.
