A huge thanks to Hallmark Publishing for my e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. This book read like the Hallmark movies I absolutely love and if you are a fan of the prince falls in love with a commoner trope then this book is for you. I absolutely loved Prince Henry and theme park princess Lacey. This book highlighted family, friendship and importance of being true to yourself. Highly recommend this book for anyone in need of a sweet romance

Once Upon a Royal Summer by Teri Wilson is a sweet contemporary romance.
Lacey loves her job playing Princess Sweet Pea at the Once Upon a Time theme park, unfortunately her boyfriend doesn't understand why she chooses to play make believe every day. Not ready to give up her dream job, she breaks up with her boyfriend and decides to take a break from dating. As soon as she begins her dating hiatus, sparks fly between Lacey and a grumpy single dad at the theme park. Unbeknownst to Lacey, the dad is crown prince of Bella-Moritz and his daughter is so enamored with Princess Sweet Pea that the theme park assigns Lacey to be Henry and Rose's personal tour guide. Over the next four days, Lacey and Henry begin opening up to each other and the sparks turn into full blown fireworks. But surely a a crown prince could never fall for a theme park princess, could he?
Teri Wilson did a lovely job building the worlds of Once Upon a Time and Bella-Moritz. I could easily picture both places as I was reading the novel. I thought all of the characters were well developed and I appreciated the exploration of both Lacey's and Henry's pasts. Each character, except for Lacey's ex, was easy to fall for. Teri Wilson has a really nice writing style, I especially loved the Friends references and mentions of real-life royals.
While I enjoyed the novel, I think the pacing was a bit off. The time spent at Once Upon a Time started to drag on by Henry and Rose's second day because a lot of the action started to feel repetitive, while the time spent in Bella-Moritz went by too fast. I also feel like the flower parade and ball deserved more attention because they were pivotal events for the characters. The ending also seemed quite abrupt. I think the novel could have benefitted from an epilogue a few months or even a year into the future.
Thanks to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for the chance to read this digital ARC.

"There should be a law against brooding men hiding such lovely eyes beneath baseball caps. It was quite…unnerving."
This was a nod to fairytales, theme parks, make believe and pretend vs. real royalty. This starts out as a bit of the grumpy/sunshine trope (which I really enjoy!) before the development of each of the characters takes place. I really enjoyed the sweet and unlikely romance story between these two main characters, Lacey and Henry, as the two are forced into one another's company in order to make Henry's daughter's seventh birthday celebration a special one. This was a super sweet and light romance with positive female relationships, help in unlikely places, and a dose of whimsical fairy dust made for a fast and enjoyable read. On more than one occasion while reading I wondered if the author had ever been a Disney princess in one of the parks. There were lots of similarities between this make believe park and Disneyland/world which made it relatable and enjoyable. So glad I picked this book up! Thank you to Netgalley and Hallmark for an advanced copy of this book, all opinions are my own.
👑 “Don’t make me choose between a romcom and Broadway. That’s just cruel.” Ava clutched her heart.
👑 "Henry was dressed slightly more regal today in a pressed linen button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a pair of tailored khaki trousers—high fashion for a theme park. Most guests wore shorts, but perhaps there was a rule against exposing his royal kneecaps."
👑 “The royal ball?” she sputtered. “A real royal ball.” Henry gave her a half shrug. “We’ve danced in your castle. It seems only fair that we should dance in mine.”

I adore Teri Wilson so much, and this latest book is a fantastic addition to my collection! A royal romance that dreams are made of, this is a sweet story about acceptance of both others and yourself, with a handsome widower and adorable little girl thrown in for good measure!
Read this book if you want a quick read and a warm fuzzy feeling!
I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I'm such a Teri Wilson fan girl and she is the PERFECT author to write a romance between a theme-park princess and a real single dad prince. Another delicious cupcake of a book!

This was a really light hearted, cute story. I really enjoyed the theme park aspect coupled with an actual prince. I think a times the story dragged a bit and I would have liked to see some more detail into both of the main characters lives. Rose was really adorable and a great part of the story.
Overall, I would give this a 3.5 star rating.

Since I'm a big fan of Disney stories, I am often looking out for the Hallmark covers. And yay, I found another one. Mistakenly, I thought this was another story of Tara Sivec (because I totally adored her spin on Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid. But it wasn't Tara, it was Teri... My bad. But I loved this one also. Whereas Tara has her princesses a bit more spunky, Lacey is just an adorable cute girl with the biggest heart. So, although a bit sugary sweet, it was an absolute awesome cute read. Totally loved it. A fairy tale princess and a real prince Charming. What's not to love?! Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I still really wish Goodreads had half star ratings. This is definitely a 4 1/2 star read! It had me tearing up by the second chapter. All good tears though! Lacey is such a great main character, she's sweet and caring without it being over the top and being insincere. Never did I think she was doing it to look good or for any other reason than she truly cares for others. Henry is also very swoon worthy and caring. The love he has for his daughter really shines and shows the type of person he wants to become. I especially loved the moments between Lacey and the queen. They were unexpected and didn't play out the way you would think they should in this type of story. The only reason I gave it 4 1/2 stars instead of 5 is because I did feel the ending was a little rushed <spoiler>Henry said there was another surprise but then I guess it was just him proposing? I was just expecting more. Especially a proposal coming from a prince and wanting the true fairytale ending. I think if they had done a epilogue with it being a few months down the line with a more thoughtful proposal would have faired better for the story. Overall very sweet and fun fairytale story that I do recommend. I also really hope Hallmark with turn it into a movie at some point! I suggest Tori Anderson and Sam Page for the lead roles!

I liked this book a lot. It was an easy read and I finished it in a day. Just like the main character and the setting, I get like I was wrapped in a sparkly pink gown just reading this. I wish there was more tension. The problems weren’t problems at and I wish the main character had more to overcome or higher stakes. Even the ex-boyfriend conversation was too easy. I loved
The Florida setting and the division between Florida and France.

I found the story to be wonderful and made me so happy. It felt like pure magic to read! This is the perfect book to read on a rainy day because it will totally brighten your day!
I didn't want this book to end! I really hope this becomes a Hallmark movie...I have some ideas on who should be cast in the roles!
If you love happy endings, Hallmark romances, and books that make you feel good, you should definitely read this! This book will be gifted to all of my friends this year because they need to experience the magic that is Once Upon a Royal Summer!
I'm so grateful to Teri Wilson, Hallmark Publishing, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

Hallmark Publications has done it again! I've stepped into a movie with this book and I'm loving it! I may not get casted for a movie but with this book, I can be the main character :)

I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute, fairytale romance. I loved the characters, storyline, and everything else about this book. I'd love for it to made into a movie!

Truly loveable characters in an enchanting story. In Once Upon a Royal Summer the worlds of fairy tales and real life collide in a charming story of love at almost first sight. The main characters meet in a fairy tale theme park and fall in love while navigating the park and entertaining Henry's young daughter. The depiction of the theme park is a very cleverly portrayed nod to a well known Florida attraction. I love happy endings and this did not disappoint.

I adored this book. The characters and the storyline were very fun. An easy read that will make you feel warm and happy at the end.

This was such a sweet read! It is as predictable as anything that is associated with Hallmark, and this just what I expected & wanted to read. This was the perfect fluffy read & it left me with a smile on my face.

Once Upon A Royal Summer is a delightful and whimsical royal romance. Teri Wilson provides readers with a feel-good romance with charming characters.
Lacey is a princess...at an amusement park. Many children and park attendees know her as Princess Sweet Pea. Her heart and kindness shine through. But her boyfriend thinks it's time for her to move on and get a 'real job'. Lacey is down but knows in her heart that this is where she is meant to be. So, she dumps Mr. negative and continues to live out her dreams.
I think we have all wanted our own fairy-tale experience but never imagine that it could ever come true. But it just might for Lacey when some of the VIP guests she is entertaining are real-life royals.
Henry, the crown prince of Bella-Moritz, seems like he has the world on his shoulders. He feels pressure to make the right decisions for his country and his daughter, Rose. Rose is having problems because she just wants to live a normal life and he will do anything to make her happy. So, he decides to take an incognito trip to an amusement park in Florida.
When the royals arrive and visit Once Upon A Time amusement park, Rose is enamored and captivated by Princess Sweet Pea while Henry finds the whole thing comical. If only they knew that royal life isn't as perfect and magical as it may seem.
Lacey and Henry have wonderful chemistry. I was rooting for them from the beginning. Lacey had just ended a relationship and Henry is still dealing with the loss of a wife but they can't fight their feelings for one another. They do try by convincing themselves that they are just friends but readers will know that is just not in the cards for them.
I give Once Upon A Royal Summer 5 stars. It's a sweet, feel-good royal romance that I couldn't put down. I really enjoyed getting to see them fall in love and interact with Rose. Lacey and Rose develop a wonderful friendship and that makes Henry love her more. Henry and Lacey's interactions and conversations are flirty, beautiful, and swoon-worthy! I can't wait for you all to read it and I really hope Hallmark decides to turn this book into a movie because it is just that good!

This book was a fun fairy tale about a pretend princess who has a chance to live happily ever after with a real prince. It is the perfect pick-me-up book and definitely makes you dream!
Lacey works as a princess at an amusement park. A prince from a faraway land brings his daughter for a visit. Lacey connects with the little princess and receives an invitation to visit their castle. While visiting, she has a definite impact on the royal family!
I loved this book because it was a happy read. The characters faced challenges, but always had hope for the future. It was a book about Lacey, but it made me smile for her! I liked the characters and the "anything is possible" feeling of the story.
Thank you Netgalley for the arc!

This story was fairytale sweet. When we first meet Lacey, it's obvious that being a theme park princess is more than just a job to her. She really cares about the children she interacts with on a daily basis. Princess Sweet Pea is not just what she does, it's who she is.
When we first meet Prince Henry, he's incognito and just a little smug about Lacey's "princess rules". But as he spends time with Lacey, his true personality comes out and he really is a prince. (Though it could be argued that Lacey brought out the best in him).
Princess Rose was a sweet addition to the story and the way both Henry and Lacey lavished love on her showed that they would make a great family.
Once Upon A Royal Summer is set in two kingdoms: a fairytale kingdom and a real one and while the reader is aware of the differences between the two, the magic is woven through both settings.
This was a feel good story. The fairytale princess meets a real prince, Prince Charming find the "one" and a little girl gets the mother of her heart...and they all lived happily-ever-after.
I received an advanced reader's copy from the publishers through NetGalley; a positive review was not required.

Lacey has a dream job, one every woman would love having. She is Princess Sweet Pea at Once Upon A Time Amusement Park. She gets to dress up as a Princess every day and hang out with children. She rides the rides and walks around helping where needed.
Her fiance Mark and his stuffy Mom think that she needs to grow up and get a career. She decides she likes what she does so maybe she does need to make some changes. And she does.
Check out this book it was a fun read and remember every girl grows up wanting to be a Princess. We should follow our dreams

This is a first time read for me by this author. I am a fan of Hallmarks books and movies so was interested to read this Summer themed book, as I generally go for the Christmas motif stories.
Lacy works at a Disney like Fairy Tail theme park as Pribcess Sweet Peas. Her unofficial fiance wants her to ditch the fake princess role and get a proper job.At that moment, Lacy has an A-Ha moment, and realizes how important being Princess Sweet Peas was to her , bringing smiles to all at the Park. She broke up with her boyfriend then and there!
Following the break up, during the Parks Sweet Pea's Royal Tea Party, unbeknownst to Lacey she meets Royal Crowned Prince Henry and his daughter Rose.
This is a very appealing story. One gets immediately engaged as the characters are Sweet, thoughtful, kind, family oriented and compassionate ias Hallmark is known for. It works well here
