Amazing book! Went out and bought one
Then, I went out and bought all her other books. The recipes are great :) definitely invokes the holiday vibe.

Loved this. It had such cute yummy recipes that is so much fun to do with kids. The morning buns were so good. I loved baking these recipes all year round. Easy to follow instructions obviously since I did this with kids. I got an e arc ages ago and forgot to post review. Thank you to NetGalley for letting me have early access to this book.

This is a gorgeous cookbook! The recipes range from easy to difficult. The instructions are clear, and the photographs really enhance the goodies. I’m hoping to make some of these goodies soon! You can even use these recipes all year!

This book contains so many holiday classics (and they all sound delicious)! My favorite thing about this book is that it includes so many fun variations to spice up holiday staples. I will be trying the Cinnamon Sugar Monkey Bread, Lemon Streusel Coffee Cake, Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake, and Meyer Lemon White Chocolate Scones. One unique addition was a chart in the back of the book with a list of songs to get you in the holiday spirit while baking. I think this book is just the thing to motivate some serious holiday baking.

I’m a huge fan of Sarah Kieffer’s previous cookbooks as well as her overall style of recipe. This book is no exception. Her recipes lean into the fussy side, but she describes her rationale for any extra steps in entertaining detail. I appreciate that she includes weights and measures for all ingredients because I find myself going back and forth between methods as a home baker.
This book doesn’t get pulled from my shelves as often as her 100 Cookies book, but the recipes I have baked have turned out well.
I received a free digital copy for review and purchase the hardcover as soon as it was released.

Lots of recipes I’d love to try! Loved the Christmas feel, though I thought there would be a few Hanukkah/other winter holiday recipes as well. There are some general winter recipes that are quite fun! I also loved the gorgeous photos.

I received a copy of Baking for the Holidays in exchange for my honest review.
Beautiful photos and delicious recipes to get you into the holiday spirits.

I loved Sara Kiefer's cookbook, "100 Cookies," so I was delighted to read her newest cookbook, "Baking for the Holidays." As a chocolate lover, I immediately baked the recipes for triple chocolate mousse cake and turtle bars. They were delicious! The pictures accompanying the recipes are mouth-watering and the step-by-step guides provide extra support for new - or occasional - bakers. Sara Kiefer also shares little stories about the recipes that add to the holiday tradition and experience.
I highly recommend ”Baking for the Holidays" to anyone who wants to expand their baking experiences and it is also an excellent gift!

A fun inclusion for cooks looking for fresh holiday baking inspiration! Kieffer sprinkles classic holiday baking ideas such as Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies alongside Panettone Morning Buns. Every baker is bound to find something to delight there guests during the holidays with recipes found in this book. Another thing to note is that the food photography is wonderful, every shot makes me want to try and replicate the sweet!

This cookbook is a wonderful resource for bakers. The recipes are delicious and the photos are gorgeous. I made the marshmallows and posted about it on my library's social media pages.

I love baking even though its not always a priority with my hectic life. All that being said I found this very easy to follow as an intermediate baker and I had the chance to make the Hazelnut Cheesecake and it was very yummy! Will definitely look at purchasing a copy for my kitchen as I think these recipes would do so well with my large family.
Thank you to Chronicle Books for the chance to review.

This is a gorgeous cookbook! The recipes range from somewhat easy to difficult, the instructions are clear, and the photographs really sell the sweets as something worth making. I’m hoping to find a way to adapt some of them to a hyper special diet before next year!

One of the best things about the holidays is looking forward to all the foods that you get to eat once a year! Though, sometimes it can be a little repetitive, so finding new things to incorporate into your holiday traditions is great! Baking for the Holidays was full of some great classic recipes and lots of new baked goods to try out this holiday season. The book included easy to follow step by step instructions and was full of beautiful pictures. It was a great holiday read!

This holiday baking book deserves a place on your shelves (and to be used) to bake not just for special occaisions but also because it is just a random Satursday. One thing I love about Sarah's recipes is that she both includes elements that are used in multiple recipes as well as multiplies the total number of recipes by giving varations and suggestions for many.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. When I first got this book I assumed that is was only for Christmas, but in the back of the book there is a section called Beyond Christmas. The book is broken up into several sections. Morning Breads and Pastries. One of the recipes in this section that looks good is Nutella Star Bread. There is Holiday Desserts. I want to try the Hazelnut Cheesecake. Gift Giving is where you can things to give away for the holidays. The ones I want to get caramel candies and the Turtle Bars. Then comes the Beyond Christmas section. There is an Extra section that has the recipes for things like: Caramels, candied nuts, and marshmallows. This book does remain me of all the times in the kitchen with my mother, grandmother, and my aunts. I think that is what food is all about. Good things to eat and family and friends.

Thank you to NetGalley and Chronicle Books for the advanced copy of Baking for the Holidays. As someone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen, I am always on the lookout for beautiful and practical cookbooks. With gorgeous photography, clear instructions, and great ideas, Baking for the Holidays is a wonderful blend of both criteria. I especially appreciated her section on gift ideas for the holidays.

Stunning cookbook with many beautiful photographs of the finished treats. I was happy to see the measurements given in metric as well as cups and tablespoons, and I love the variations given for each recipe. Some dishes are a bit more complex, though the recipes are detailed and some provide photos of the process so that even if you're a novice baker, you can feel confident trying something new. I think the blueberry streusel rolls, pull-apart breads, and hot chocolate cake (among so many others) will be frequent treats in my family. I am confident this book will have a permanent spot on my cookbook shelf.
I am very grateful to Chronicle Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read Baking for the Holidays.

Baking for the Holidays by Sarah Kieffer is a perfect collection of holiday and winter recipes to get you in the spirit of the season. The instructions are easy to follow and the images are stunning. This is a great cookbook to gift someone on your list or to keep for yourself.
If you are looking for a recipe book that has classic holiday baked goods and cozy winter recipes, then this is one to try. It has a simple and beautiful layout, as well as some personal stories that Kieffer shares with each recipe. Fans of her blog and her other cookbooks will enjoy this glimpse into the baker’s life.
While the recipes are explained in simple terms, some of them are a bit more labour intensive than others. However, there is a good mix between quick and time consuming recipes. That being said, novice bakers might have difficulty with some of the recipes in the book.

This is such a fun and inspirational book of recipes for the holiday season. It even includes a classic Sarah Kieffer playlist to put you in the mood. I am looking forward to creating quite a few of these treats this year.

I love Sarah Kieffer’s precious cookbook, 100 Cookies, and this follow up doesn’t disappoint. A mix of previously shared (and updated) recipes, I enjoyed reading why she had chosen each recipe and the updates and alternate versions she included. I can’t wait to ge fly hands on my own copy and copies to give as gifts this holiday season!

I have painstakingly gone through all of the recipes and can't wait to try some! I bake every Christmas and can't wait to try something new.
The pictures are fabulous and the recipes seem to be ones that one might have all the ingredients for making whatever one chooses. So looking forward to making my own caramel, cinnamon rolls, and candy.
