As a book reviewer, I absolutely love when Publishers Lunch puts of these seasonal books because you get to see some of the new books that are coming out in that season. Plus you get to read snippets from the books. During the pandemic, I haven't been to any bookstores so getting to read snippets of books online is limited so being able to read this has made a huge impact on my book buying. Great new releases plus quite a few hidden gems I didn't know about. Excited to pick up and read many of these books.
Love getting a preview of what’s to come. There’s a lot of exciting things in the works. My shelves can’t wait for the fall/winter.
First time I've done a Buzz Books and how wonderful it is! I want to read them all! Thank you NetGalley for providing this opportunity of a preview of Fall/Winter 2021 books to be published.
Thank you for sharing the Buzz Books 2021 Fall/Winter
I am really happy to learn as much as I can about the books that will be available shortly.
The Buzz Books helps. All the best titles are together in one place. I can find what I need when I need it. Thank you NetGally for providing.
Buzz Books 2021 contains excerpts from forthcoming titles, many of which promise to be enjoyable reads. I appreciate the opportunity to browse and preview these!
I LOVED THIS! I added so many books on my TBR. There are so many good samples in this catalog for books that I didn't even know were coming out.
Love getting sneak peeks of new books coming up! There are some awesome books that I put on my TBR and can’t wait for them to release (or to be approved through NetGalley to read)!
Love getting samples of books I otherwise would not be aware of coming out. I especially am anticipating Mitch Albom’s new book which otherwise would have been far low on my to read list.
I always love the Buzz Books collections. Even though I scan publishers' catalogs every week and am diligent about maintaining a list of books to request, this collection had several I would have otherwise missed out on.
I always look forward to Buzz Books catalog to plan out my TBR! I love the addition of excerpts so I get great insight in to the characters and the writing style! This is an amazing resource for any reader and I thank you so much for providing it!
Buzz Books 2021 Winter/Fall is an anthology of the latest books from Publishers Lunch. It begins with detailed lists of fiction and non-fiction stories, categorised according to type, followed by a summary, extracts of the particular book, author, publisher and price information. Numerous authors such as Mitch Albom, Noah Hawley, Natasha Lester, and Richard Osman are featured. At the end of each book selection is a link to the full version purchase information. With such recognised names, the servings leave you wanting more, like a taste tester at the local supermarket. Given its limited scope, it is a worthwhile read to explore various authors’ works and so a four-star rating resource. With thanks to NetGalley and the author for a preview copy for review purposes. All opinions expressed herein are freely given and totally my own.
I love reading these book sampler previews! Not only do you get a good look at so many amazing upcoming titles (I love the inside scoop!) you also get a sample of some of them. Thank you so much to NetGalley for putting out these samplers!
A helpful guide for those interested in upcoming releases by various publication houses. I found the portion separating fiction into categories like " the notables", highly-anticipated, and debuts to be particularly helpful for my own navigation. Was cool to find out Sarah Winman was releasing a new book this year!
I always look forward to Buzz Books coming out! Buzz Books are a great resource for anyone who wants to know what books are on the horizon.
Buzz Books offers a list of soon-to-be-published titles along with their authors, publishers, and planned publication dates. (I love looking up those whose titles catch my eye -- and learning of new books from familiar authors!) There also are excerpts from forthcoming books; these are categorized into fiction, debut, nonfiction, and young adult. (There is a linked table of contexts, so the reader can go directly to a particular excerpt without needing to page through.)
There are so many books I'm excited about this fall/winter, I can't even list them all here. But, I'm grateful to Buzz Books specifically for putting several of them on my radar!
Buzz Books is available free from any major e-bookstore.
Because this is a compilation of excerpts of books that are soon-to-be published, I will not be giving a review. This is basically a reference guide.
I love the Buzz Books and the samples of upcoming reads. Thank you for providing these! I suggest many of my librarian friends to join NetGalley for samples like these to decide what to read for next year's book clubs. It also helps me decide what to request for download. Often these are the title I suggest the library purchase.
Great summaries of lots of upcoming books. I am especially looking forward to the Noah Hawley and Lauren Groff.
This is my second time reading an edition of Buzz Books. It was fantastic to get a snapshot of books to be published this fall and I've already requested advance copies of some and added many to my TBR list. Thank you to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch BUZZ BOOKS for the opportunity to review an advanced copy.
Another enticing list of new books that are coming out this coming fall and winter. I was able to update my tbr list and looking forward to reading some of them through Netgalley. As always, a terrific resource to discover new reads, authors and genres. Thank you Publisher’s Lunch and Netgalley!
A great guide to upcoming books! Looking forward to many of these new reads this fall and winter. Its a rare find to have all of the most anticipated upcoming books in one location with a preview to boot.
