This one makes me remember why I should do a review before I finish the book! Good thing that the publisher's blurb is so good or I'd get myself in a tangle and do a spoiler (which I think is just rude). Although I have read a couple of books in the series, it was long ago enough that I think that it can stand alone. The characters are so real and the plot is so sneaky and twisty, and don't get me started on the red herrings! I loved it!

Her manager Phoebe, has an opportunity to sell her handmade items at a Farmer's Craft Market. A stall has opened up, as the man who had it died. There is a lot going on behind the scenes of the fair. I really miss my knitting meetings, as they have been suspended with Covid-19, keeping many of us at home. It was fun to share in Maggie's adventures.

Strangers on a Skein is a fantastic addition to Black Sheep & Company Mystery series written by Anne Canadeo.
I love this fun group of ladies, they each bring their own dynamic personality to the stories.
Phoebe is at the center of a murder investigation, which leads her to question her breakup with Harry.
Maggie, Lucy, Suzanne, and Dana rally around Phoebe, who refuses to believe that Harry is responsible for any of the horrible things going on.

I love this tight knit (pun intended) group of friends, and the adorable book cover pushed this book to the top of my TBR pile.
I'm so excited to read the next book in the series.
