Anne Graham Lotz has always been a great Bible teacher. Her daughter Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright has followed in her mother's footsteps. It was a wonderful study and I have recommened it to my friends.
This book is just the inspiration that our world needs. We have somehow forgotten the simple joy of passing on our Jesus stories. It’s challenging and inspiring. I gave away several copies.
I have long enjoyed studies by Anne Graham Lotz and was thrilled to work my way through "Jesus Followers." Per the usual, I was not disappointed. Now more than ever, we Christians need to find the courage to stand up and share the Good News! Whether that is with our own spouses and children, family members and friends, or strangers at the grocery store, the time is now. We simply must leave in our wake a legacy of Jesus followers. This book is an easy, informative read. It is thought-provoking without being too heavy to digest. A definite recommend!
Jesus Followers by Anne Graham Lotz and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright is very inspiring, heart-felt and gives some insight into the lives of the Graham family This book encourages and guides every believer in Christ how to live out and share your faith with others and how you can leave a godly impact on the next generation. Highly recommended.
When your last name is Graham (or Lotz) and you’re related to the Reverend Billy Graham, people probably expect you to act and talk a certain way. You’re held to a different (and higher) standard than the rest of us mortals sinners.
In their new book, Anne Graham Lotz (Billy’s daughter) and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright (Anne’s daughter and Billy’s granddaughter), share insights and stories about being Jesus followers, and raising children to also be Jesus followers. The subtitle is Real-Life Lessons for Igniting Faith in the Next Generation.
The book is arranged in various sections that include Our Witness, Our Worship, Our Walk, and Our Work. Each section opens with teaching from Anne, then there are several short stories from Rachel-Ruth illustrating the points.
Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright is honest and transparent about the difficulties she experienced, particularly in high school, growing up in a family well-known for their faith.
It’s apparent Anne and her late husband, Danny, were intentional in raising their children to be Jesus followers. They (according to the pages of this book) walked the walk they talked about.
The teaching in this book is solid, the stories are well written and overall this is an excellent addition to the library of any believer wanting to be intentional about investing in the next generation. The bottom line: Live a life of faith and don’t be shy about it.
I enjoyed this book and recommend it!

I received a free advance copy of this book from the publisher, but this did not induce me to review it, favorably or not.
What a joy to read and have a glimpse into the lives of The Graham Family. We've come to know and love Billy Graham - our Nation's Pastor. Now his daughter, Anne Graham Lotz and grandaughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright pull back the curtain on the family memories. And all the while they share the gospel, teach scripture and encourage us in our walk with Christ.
A must read for anyone wanting to strengthen their faith.

Filled with the love of God and how to follow Jesus teachings. Very readable written with humor . Love the stories about her growing up in the Graham family. A lot of tips to apply everyday life.
This author is amazing and just like all her books, are life changing. This would make a great book for a book discussion.

Jesus Followers is a wonderful book that Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright has written together. Anne and Rachel-Ruth tells us biblically how to be Jesus Followers. I enjoyed it and enjoyed what they taught us within it. Rachel-Ruth spoke of her mother, father, and her grandmother and grandfather, Rev Billy Graham and Ruth Graham. Many biblical truths in this book.
This book really helped me with my study on the New Testament. It was an enjoyable read and easy to follow. Great insight.
Jesus Followers
A great book about the Holy Spirit living in me. He lives in me! A book to be re-read, as we so often forget.
Jesus Followers by Anne Graham Lotz and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright is a must read for parents of all ages! The wealth of wisdom shared from generations is such a delight and encouragement. Stories of growing up in the home of the Billy Graham family, who is known world-wide, as well as the fine Christian Lotz family are an example to all of us. Anne and Rachel-Ruth both made the stories come alive and gave us a glimpse of life in their homes as they were growing up. Blended with these stories is Anne's wonderful insight from scripture! This is a book that one will surely want to read over and over and would be an invaluable gift to young couples as they begin their journey into parenthood!
I love the teaching that we have to actively share our faith to pass it on. We do that in many ways, as we see in this book. The way we live our lives is so important to the next generations. It’s stronger than any words we may speak. I love the theme of passing the baton because we truly are running a race.
Full of scriptural truths and heartwarming family stories, I highly recommend it to any Christian who wants to affect the generations to come.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
The authors talk about the race of life we are in. The focus of the book is to encourage passing the baton of faith on to the next generation. They use personal family stories in each chapter. All of the chapters are good. I found alphabet praise in one of the chapters to be unique and fun. I read a electronic copy for review purposes.
The book, Jesus Followers is a wonderful book written by Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright on how to leave a legacy to our next generation. That generation is watching us. How do we handle telling others about Jesus, pain, death of loved ones and crisis that are sure to happen through our lives? Rachel-Ruth gives us so many examples of her seeing Jesus in her parents and grandparents.
She wrote, “I’ve been raised in a family where telling people about Jesus is a common as drinking water.” She states my three girls are confident in sharing the gospel because they’ve seen me sharing the gospel just I’ve seen my parents and grandparents sharing the gospel.
Each chapter covers so many areas of our Christian lives with stories of events in their lives that reflect the topic. The chapter grace talks of when Rachel-Ruth was a child who had a fight with a sibling and an accident occurred. She hid in her shame and fear. When her parents confronted her, they showed her grace instead of the punishment she deserved. She wrote, “ this was the first time i truly grasped what grace is and i’ve never forgotten in.”
I highly recommend this book and thought of people in my life that would benefit from reading it
I was given a complimentary copy of this book by WaterBrook & Multnomah & NetGalley. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence.
Written by Billy Graham’s granddaughter, with introductions by Anne Graham Lotz, the book is a definition of biblical principles in the extended Graham family.
At times poignant other times funny and at times very upper middle class American, it is a walk through the history and spiritual experiences of the Graham family, covering marriage, family experiences, and all facets of a religious family.
I received an advanced reader’s copy in exchange for a fair review.
Recommended.
These stories from Anne and Rachael Ruth’s family of faith have inspired, encouraged and challenged me to be more intentional in sharing my faith and passing the baton to the next generation. One story in particular, where Anne spoke of missing an opportunity to share Christ. When Anne asking the Lord to show her another opportunity, who was on her plane but Angelina Jolie. Reading how Anne had shared her faith thru the prompting of the Holy Spirit,, despite being scared, challenged me to be more bold. The next day the Holy Spirit prompted me to share my faith in the checkout line at Walmart. I was so scared, but did it anyway. The Lord gave me the words and I got to pray with a woman that told me she was not as committed to the Lord as she wanted to be. She asked me to pray for her to be more bold like I was. Only Jesus can do that. Thank you Anne and Rachel Ruth for sharing these precious stories of your faith journey with Jesus. The Tae Tae stories are truly my favorites. I can’t wait to meet her one day in heaven.
Follow the Graham family as they become a multi-generational family of Jesus Followers. As a believer in Jesus, I know He works all things for my good. I didn't have nearly the life or the examples that the Graham/Lotz family has had, but I know that God can use me when I urgently follow Jesus. Parts of their story made me grieve for what I didn't have in my own life, but God...He can restore and use any of us for His glory. So take heart, dear friend, if you feel sad about your life after reading this...just continue to follow Jesus!
Get a sneak peek in to the lives of the Graham Family as told by Billy's daughter and grand daughter. This book gave me a lot of things to think about in my life. It convicted me personally about sharing the Gospel more readily with those that I come in contact with. I liked how they used the alphabet to praise Jesus (chapter 12). I also liked the quote from Chapter 8 that says, "The Bible is your one sure guide in an unsure world". Another quote from chapter 6 that I liked was "make the least of all that goes and the most of all that comes".
Thanks so much to the publisher and netgalley for the arc. The opinions are my own!
Jesus Followers is an awesome look into the Lotz/Graham family and their strong faith. In Genesis 5 it talks about the generations from Adam to Noah. Anne started each chapter talking about Genesis 5 while her daughter followed up with telling family stories. At the end of each chapter there is a thought or questions to think about what it be to follow Jesus. I highly recommend the book.
I was honored to be a part of the launch team. I received a copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest opinion. All opinions are my own.
