Really, really cute book enjoyed every moment of this book definitely want to read more from this author.
I feel as though this novel's cover describes it best: cute but perhaps lacking a little depth. If you're looking for a quick romance read with a couple twists that you don't mind forgetting in a few weeks, then this is good for you. Though, understand, that's not necessarily a bad thing--sometimes that's exactly what we need! Just consider this more of an office-style beach read than a coffee-shop or metro read.
This was my first time reading Jeanne Kern, and i have to say she is now a auto purchase for me, I really enjoyed this book and have recommended it to my reading groups. If you haven't read her yet i suggest that you do!!!
This checked off everything I look for in a book. Was not disappointed. Really enjoyed this book. I will read more from this author. Must read. Love is what i like in a book
Ambitious organizer Minn Evans resents being the only sane and stable person in her family. She wants a normal life with schedules and balanced meals and maybe a man who won't fall for her sister.
Ford Hayes, a whiz at creativity and a dud at organization, becomes Art Director for a privately-owned TV station. But his office is a mess, his planning skills are a train wreck, and he can't find his socks.
Minn needs a job; Ford needs an organizer. But Minn's vagabond parents and man-stupifying sister aren't the only roadblocks on their journey to love.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!
I really want to enjoy the book but unfortunately, it's not my style. It's funny and sweet but again it's not the kind of book that I want to read at that time. Again it's not like the book is bad whatsoever. It's just me, I can't read this book. There are some parts that make me annoyed soooo........yep, 3 stars!
I wanted to enjoy this book, but found the characters 2 dimensional and the interactions stilted. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish this book because I was unable to invest in the relationships.
Isn't it funny how our greatest quality and our greatest flaw are often one and the same? This book is full of quirky characters though not all of them are likeable, even when we get to know them better. The heroine was a tad whiny for my taste but the snarkiness helped make her bearable.
I decided to read this book because I was looking for get back into reading fun little rom-com books again and if you are looking for a fun, easy read for a summer afternoon, this is a book for you. It does have a few more spicy moments in it, but they are not very graphic and they are done pretty fast.
There are some really interesting secondary plotlines in the book that I enjoyed. There is a whole secondary story with the main characters family and her dealing with her past and working with her parents that I wish was given more attention.
Honestly, I really did enjoy this book, but I could also see all the other stories that could have been possible with the romance as a secondary storyline and the book been more of a dramatic book.

This book was a cute, fluffy rom-com. Even though it was a bit too flowery for my taste, I know someone will enjoy this story. The writing was well done, and the story worked. I personally could not really ever get into the story the whole time. Another case of " wrong book, wrong reader."
Thank you to Netgalley for my copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
A book club, beach, vacation read. Fiction at its best. This tale has your rooting for the characters you’ve come to care about amongst the pages.
Rounding up to a 4.
Minn seems like it might be an ordinary (likely ethnic) name, but ... no. How this name (and the name of Minn's sister) was selected/determined by their parents was very creative by the author.
One of the people at the TV station is quite sleazy; this really leaves a bad taste in my mouth as this really is never "resolved" in my opinion.
There are a lot of creative ideas regarding the TV station programming; I found many of these concepts very entertaining.
I liked the cover.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher (Wild Rose Press) and the author Jeanne Kern for the opportunity to review Love is a Filing Cabinet in exchange for an honest review. Publication date is 06 Jan 2021.
Minn is late for her interview, mainly because of her sister, and then when she arrives she bumps in to Ford. He offers her a job when she finds out the job she really wanted has already been taken - by her sister!
Everyone seems drawn to her sister, and Minn is left to pick up the pieces. Will she get a chance to get what she wants?
