This book was a real ride. And I mean roller coaster, edge of your seat, can’t look away, nail biting ride!
It kept me guessing until the last minute, I was quite convinced I knew who the father was but I was wrong! Everything made sense and grabbed me from the start, which is a must for me.
An amazing read.

Thank you NetGalley for providing this book for an honest review. I absolutely loved this book. It started out with an unexplained pregnancy. The book hooked me from the very beginning. Usually with thrillers, I can figure out who do it by at least half way. There were many suspects and you knew that it wasn't going to be an obvious one but boy did this surprise me.

I enjoyed Karen Cole's Destroy Me, so when I came across Deliver Me on NetGalley, I had to request it. I had a hard time putting this book down, so it only took me two days to read it. I couldn't wait to find out who the father of Abby's baby was, and I thought I had it figured out a few times, but the actual culprit was someone I never suspected. I thought the plot was really interesting and that the characters were well-written, and Cole's writing style got me invested in the story from the first page. I'm excited to read more by this author, and thanks to NetGalley and Quercus for giving me the opportunity to read and review this amazing novel. : )

Desperately seeking an explanation, Abby remembers the New Year's party she attended ... about 2 months ago. She remembers being at the party, she remembers waking up with the father of all hangovers.. and not much else. This baby must have been conceived that night ... but who was she with?

She enlists the help of her friend, Danny, who hosted the New Year's Ever party. She feels that she must have been drugged and assaulted ... and she wants a list of all the men who attended that party.

While starting her personal investigation, she starts receiving anonymous text messages...and packages delivered to her home that she shares with her sister and brother-in-law. Someone knows her secret .. but who? She's only told one person .. her friend Danny, but he swears he knows nothing about any of it. And she's pretty certain that someone is following her.

This is well-written, the story line is intriguing. Characters are well drawn, warts and all. Can't say that I liked most of them, but they drew me into their stories. It was fascinating to see how Abby goes through and accuses first one man and then another of fathering her child. Yet she feels attracted to one of the men that she thinks may have taken advantage of her when she was passed out. There are some twists and turns that point first in one direction, then another. Th conclusion was a total surprise ...

Abby doesn’t have to imagine when her doctor confirms she’s 2 months pregnant. How could this be possible? It had to of happened at her friend Danny’s New Years Eve party, but who would take advantage of her when she was intoxicated. As she is trying to figure out what happened that night with the help of her friend Danny, she starts to receive random text and it seems as though someone is watching her.

I was pulled into this story instantly it did take a little turn in the middle as it seem to drag in the middle but came back strong in the end which is why I give it 4 stars.

Abby discovers she is pregnant and is shocked since she hasn't been intimate with anyone since her relationship broke up a year ago. First, she believes the tests are wrong then she remembers a party on New Year's Eve but she can't remember many details from that night. Could Abby have been so inebriated that she had blacked out or could someone drugged her drink that night. Abby doesn't want a child and especially not by a person that would take advantage of her. Soon after, she begins receiving flowers and baby gifts, always hand delivered and never signed and also she feels someone following her and she begins to get frightened and a little paranoid thinking every man might be her stalker and "rapist".
How will Abby find her way out of this mess? What will become of the innocent baby that Abby never wanted in the first place. The story will reach a shocking climax and you will have to read the book if you want to know what happens in Abby's harrowing journey for answers.

I couldn't read this book fast enough. Abby was a free spirit yet a good girl who believed in love but she never expected to find herself in this predicament and struggled to make the right decisions about the complicated situation she is in. I enjoyed the book for the most part although the story took some crazy and unrealistic twists that I couldn't foresee and then an ugly shocking turn happened towards the ending that I thought wasn't necessary and it changed the whole tone of the story. Needless to say I had mixed feelings about this book. It was a real page turner for me and the tone was breezy and light and I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next but then towards the ending, the story took a dark and depressing turn that was unexpected and (imo) unnecessary. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers and I would like to read more books by Karen Cole in the future.

This was an interesting story, a nightmare concept. A young woman finds out she’s pregnant 2 months after attending her friends New Year’s Eve party with no recollection of “hooking up”. Did she blackout? Was she slipped a date rape drug? Who would do that to her? And EVERYONE is a suspect. I wanted to know who done it and how it was executed enough to keep reading and the ending was a surprise for sure! Abby is enjoying her new life as a teacher and living with her sister and husband when she is told by her doctor that she is two months pregnant. She is wary as she hasn't had intercourse in over a year and thinks the test must be wrong. After many tests confirm her pregnancy to have began around New Year, the night she attended a party at her best friend Danny's house, She can barely remember the party and while she remembers being very drunk and knocking back tequila shots, she is sure someone must have drugged and raped her. As she investigates who may be the father, the apparent father begins to stalk her. He begins teasing her with flowers, notes and eerie text messages.

Deliver Me started off amazing but as I continued reading, I found empathy with Abby but I also didn't like her very much. Her dislike for her baby and disregard for the baby's health were off-putting. Her decision to not tell her sister until 5 months after she learned she was pregnant seemed extreme. She accused several men of rape with very little evidence and seemed to have no self-control at all. Abby spent more time feeling sorry for herself than anything else. I think I would have enjoyed this book much more if she had been a stronger character. I found the ending unbelievable but satisfying, nonetheless. It still fell flat.

While I enjoyed this book, the ending kind of ruined it for me.

Abby figures her pregnancy happened when she was drunk at a New Year's Eve party. There are several male suspects. Most of the book involves asking the men questions about the party. Suspense, anonymous notes and gifts, you stay hooked.

Dark, twisted, full of suspense. Perfect if you like your reads a little bit on the darker side of the scope. I know I do.

This book was a masterpiece and I don't say that about many books! 📖 😉 What made this book stand out in such a dramatic and fantastic way was that I couldn't figure it out. 😅 Usually with thrillers, I can figure out "The Who dun it" by 40% into reading the book and with this novel it wasn't completely clear until about 80% - now that is phenomenal writing! I just couldn't put it down because I had to KNOW who did it! 🤗⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easily a best seller and a must read for all thriller lovers around the world. I bet you can't figure it out until close to the end either. 😆👍🏼

Deliver Me tells the story of Abby, a twenty-something art teacher, living with her sister and brother in law after a really bad breakup. Abby's boyfriend ended up getting together with her best friend, and so she decided to move out of London, to get away from the memories of the bad situation. She heads to the doctor for a routine checkup, and finds out she is 2 months pregnant! That is truly amazing, since Abby has not had sex for at least a year (since her breakup.) She is confused and concerned, to say the least, but does remember becoming very drunk at a New Years Eve party at her friend Danny's house. She suspects she was drugged and raped, thus resulting in the baby she is carrying.

The book takes us on Abby's personal investigation of the situation, as well as takes us through her mixed feelings about having the baby in the first place. She is not ready to be a mother, and the situation is further complicated by her older sister losing a child (stillbirth) and not being able to conceive another child. The suspects Abby comes up with are everyone from random people at the party, to her own brother in law. The ending will end up surprising you, though, and although I did suspect one person early on, I was not actually correct! Definitely more of a surprise ending than I was expecting, which is always a sign of a great book.

This book was easy to read, easy to get into, and went fast while you were reading it. I would recommend it to those who enjoy domestic thrillers, and books that are a little different in topic. Overall, a really enjoyable read, that I looked forward to reading throughout my time with it.

Deliver Me by Karen Cole is a disturbing, suspenseful book. If you like dark justice, I recommend reading it.

I think this was the first book by Karen Cole and the only one I had not read. I was thrilled when i saw it on netgalley. I loved this book! Talk about shocking ending! I have to say this is my favorite by her as well. While I did feel some rage in empathy with the main character as to what happened to her, Karen did a wonderful job with writing this book and the way set it up. Great book!

This book really drew me in from the beginning and I enjoyed it a lot. I love the concept of the plot and thought it was really well done. I kept second guessing when trying to figure out what had happened and the twists and turns were so good! I’ll be looking for more by this author!

First things first, this book should be stamped with a warning label because once you start reading, you're not going to want to do anything else.

Deliver Me is a terrifically fun and engrossing read. The book grabbed me from the second I picked it up until I reached its surprising conclusion. The thriller genre is a bit overloaded these days – some are quite good, others are not good at all. Fortunately, Deliver Me is excellent addition to the group.

What makes this book stand out is an oh-so-clever hook, well-developed and multi-dimensional characters, a strong sense of place and the twists and turns that seem to go on forever.

Just when you think you might have insight into what actually happened? Well, be prepared for it not to be who you think. In short, it's the perfect, fast-paced read and very well worth your time.

The writing, plot, and pacing of this book were interesting and well done. I feel like there were some heavy topics and other sensitivities that were a bit mismanaged that I'll be sharing in private feedback. With some simple tweaks, I would have enjoyed this book more.
