Honestly, I definitely expected more from this book. I am a big fan of bone broth, basically this is just a diet book that adds bone broth. The author recommends nixing nearly all food besides produce, certain meat and fish, eggs, and a few condiments. There really isn't unique or new about it, just very diet focused. The health advice is so so. The parts about the dangers of many additives is true and has been well documented, however, some things the author states were simply not true or backed up by current research.

The recipes mainly sounded yummy but she does include a lot of expensive meats that are well out of our price range and I'm assuming many others. There are some pictures, but it would have been nice to see pictures for each of the recipes. Overall I really wasn't impressed by this book. There is really no new information and the extreme diet isn't sustainable and can lead to nutritional deficiencies.

*In 2016 I gained a tremendous amount of weight due to getting incredibly sick and undergoing multiple surgeries and countless treatments over several years.  Sadly nothing I did helped my ailment, and all that came out of it was more pain and suffering, and even more weight gain.  Since then I have tried multiple diets, treatments, and supplements and nothing helped.  Then I was given Dr. Kellyann’s Bone Broth Diet.*I don’t know if it was me starting this book, or the fact that I recently turned forty, but it was like a spark was light within me, and ever since then I have dug deep and for the first time in years am fighting for weight loss, and my health.

Though I haven’t tried all of the principles taught in the Bone Broth Diet, I have gotten a good idea of the program, and all it entails, and I have to be honest, though being straightforward, it feels like it could be tough to implement.  In saying that, there are a lot of resources to help you through your journey, including some decent recipes to keep you eating right, and inspirational before and after photos and testimonials, and troubleshooting tips, to help give you that boost to keep you going for the long haul.

Though I haven’t implemented this diet yet, I can see its merit, and see it being a decent resource.  It is easy to read, and chock full of recipes, even if many of them aren’t very unique.  There are a few hidden gems within these pages and even if you don’t read it for the diet overall there is some good information about health and wellness that we all can use.

I really enjoyed giving this diet a try but minus the fasting. I’m not sure why I find fasting horrible but eating great food is a way of life not to be ignored. I loved reading about the health benefits that bone broth gives you and it definitely has made my pants more loose. I’ve recommended it to a few friends as well. It will be interesting to see what kind of results I get after a month. Thanks so much for allowing me to read this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review! Five stars!

I have struggled with weight gain and tried many ways to improve my health. I loved this book and have given the diet a good go. Slowly I’m seeing improvement. Thank you for the information within its pag3s. 😊

Easy to follow instructions on how to lose weight. This diet won’t be fun to follow at first but stick with it. You will see results. My problem, and it has zero to do with the book or the authors advice, I quickly realized I don’t like bone broth. *face palm* The recipes included are great too.

I thought this was a good book. Nothing in it is revolutionary or new, but it was a thoroughly written book about the benefits of bone broth, and how to follow the diet. I like that the book doesn't sugar coat things and say this will be easy, but also is motivational and reminds the reader several times that the very hardest part is only for 3 weeks. Yes you give up a lot, but it doesn't have to be forever unless you want it to. I also thought the recipes were fabulous. I would eat most of them while not doing the bone broth diet as well.

I love bone broth for dinner and I was interested in this diet but I didn't really like the format of the book and I wouldn't personally purchase it for myself. Just not for me. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

I’ve had many customers asking for and buying the original version of this book, so I was curious to read this updated version. I am always on the lookout for a diet promoting weight loss and overall health that seems like something that I could actually do. Unfortunately for me, I don’t think this is the one. I do believe that this diet sounds healthy and would be effective for weight loss, but it basically eliminates every single thing I like to eat.. I might be able to struggle through it for a few weeks at most, but it would not be sustainable for me. Additionally, I am mostly vegetarian, which does not work with this diet plan.. I found the book easy to follow, and it includes many recipes. I have no doubt that this book, like the original, will have many fans.
