The writing was engaging and it flowed quite well and easily, but I just couldn't find Rylie sympathetic throughout and thus it was a hard sell to make me care for her. Taylor was also too harsh in his 'I'll never love a woman' stance which got a bit tedious at some point.

Time To Grow by Claudia Shelton is a perfect fit for readers who enjoy lighthearted, emotional, and reflective romance stories, particularly those who appreciate themes of new beginnings, personal growth, and the beauty of small-town life, as they will be swept away by the charming tale of Rylie and Taylor's blossoming relationship amidst the tranquil backdrop of Nature's Crossing.

Another fun read by a great author. I like her sassy females and hunky military males. Rylie and Taylor make a great couple once they realize it themselves. Fun and easy read and would recommend. This is the 2nd in the series, but had no problem keeping up with the story line.

This is book 2 in the Nature's Crossing series and it can be read as a stand alone. I did not read A week at most which is book 1. Rylie is a 34 year old widow who is working to bring her company back into the black after her funds were embezzled. Taylor is building a environmentally friendly sub-division and hopes that he keeps up with his father's vision . This is a sweet romance that has a great cast of characters set in a small town that founds like a fun place to live. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Such a beautifully written book by Claudia Shelton!! This is the second book in the Nature’s Crossing series featuring Rylie & Taylor along with some recurring characters and some new characters. Taylor is building a new development in Nature’s Crossing & Rylie’s company is hired by his company to work on the project, with her also staying Nature’s Crossing. Taylor was friends with her late husband Mathew and he doesn’t know that Mathew passed until Rylie comes to him with her proposal. They are both fighting their attraction to each other for their own reasons. She’s trying to save her company & is still dealing with the loss of her husband. Taylor (aka Captain Taylor) is invested in running his company & dealing with the after affects of PTSD & the loss of two of his men. Rylie’s grief & actual acceptance of losing her husband is just heartbreaking to read but shows her strength & ability to finally move on. They both have tragedies in their lives to overcome but they do & get their HEA. There are also light hearted, funny moments in the book with wonderful secondary characters including her sister Gwen & his brother Jake. This book is well written & has all the feels, you won’t be disappointed!! I received an arc from Netgalley and the publisher for an honest review.

This was an easy, enjoyable read. The characters were realistic, the story fun, and the setting felt like a little get away for me. I especially enjoyed the sisters relationship. This was the second in the series, but I did not feel like I was missing anything. It felt like a stand alone book.

As you know my take on romance books - I could have enjoyed this more if the explicit scenes were left out of this book. I felt like the story could have been complete without this part of the book, but I also know this part of some romance books.

There was a small twist at the end of the book that added to the story. I would like to read another book by Claudia Shelton.

Time to Grow
By Claudia Shelton
Second book in series

Taylor Randolph has shut himself from love and Rylie Crawford is still getting over the death of her husband. She is trying to keep the business they built from going under after she discovers that funds have been embezzled. So when an offer comes from TRED incorporated to hire her she is thrilled and has no problem living in Nature’s Crossing.

She had no idea she would be living with Taylor who is spending more time of sight. There attraction grows slow but strong. They can only have a future together if they are willing to let the past go.

I loved this book. It had strong characters and a wonderful plot with realistic dialogue that made you want to keep reading.

I received this temp e-book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.

Great story! I love a book that wants you to come back for more. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
I always love the strong silent man type that doesn’t want to deal with his feelings until the right woman comes along. Rylie Crawford is that woman for Captain Taylor.
Sparks fly when they meet and of course they have some issues to work through but we’ll worth the read!

I was really excited to read this book. I love the small town romance trope.
But I have to say, I really struggled to finish this book.
I didn't like the main characters. Rylie needs to grow up and Taylor kept telling her to come closer only to push her away again. He really has a hair-trigger temper.
So not a winner for me.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks to Netgalley for this ARC.

Wow!!!! This book series is for fans of Robyn Carr's Virgin River series. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this book.

This is the 2nd in the Nature's Crossing series but the first I have read of this series and this author. I just purchased the 1st book straight after finishing the 2nd, A great series based in a small town with a fun menagerie of different people.

In this book semi recently widowed Rylie and ex military workaholic Taylor move from work partnership to romantic partners. Their story has highs and lows and I loved the weaving of their backstories into their shared future. There were lots of little funny moments but the sweet and tender moments where Rylie is learning to move on from her past is incredibly lovely. Taylors PTSD is explored and treated well!

Things I loved... Aside from everything was the strong plot, secondary characters and their relationships but especially the Major and Peabody. The writing was wonderful and you really felt you were a part of the story which is a skill not all authors have! Also the passion between the characters was showcased well despite the lack of sex mentioned in the book.

Things I didn't particularly enjoy... basically nothing which really surprises me.

Can't wait to read the first book and the next in the series!!!

Book 2 in the Nature’s Crossing series, Time to Grow is a fun return to the small town in Missouri. Rylie, widowed for three years, is struggling to save the company she started with her late husband, as well as move on with her personal life. Taylor has taken over the family business from his dad and struggles with survivor's guilt. The two personalities may clash, but the chemistry draws them together. A captivating story, entertaining characters, plenty of drama, a bit of suspense, and great friendships make this a great read!

Good story. Characters were believable. I got invested in their stories. I wish I had known this was part of a series. I would have read the first one before this one but I don't think it really matters. This story can stand on its own. I will go back and read the first in the series because I enjoyed this one so much.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing me the book to read

Beautiful story, absolutely loved it.
Taylor is juggling a family business since his father had a heart attack. He is determined to grow it and make it the best it can be. Rylie is also juggling a business, one her and her late husband started together. It is having financial difficulties and she is determined to save it.
When they start to work together, sparks begin to fly, but they are each dealing with their past and have a difficult time moving forward. I really love how their happily ever after built slowly and realistically.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you NetGalley, Claudia Shelton and CCS Writings for the ARC of Time To Grow. This is my personal review.
Time to Grow is the second book in the series Nature’s Crossing.
Rylie owns Crawford Enterprises. She started the company with her husband, who was tragically killed leaving her the soul owner. Financial trouble fell onto the company after an employee embezzled money leaving the company seriously in trouble.
Taylor took over the family company TRED after his father had a heart attack. He was focused on expanding the company by developing Peaceful Lakes Acres.
Riley made an offer to help develop Peaceful Lakes Acres. Her company was given the contract to do just that.
Rylie and Taylor got to know each other and before long the sparks were there between them, but Rylie was still morning the loss of her husband. Taylor had ghosts in his past he had to deal with.
The connection between the two built slowly and perfectly.
The story was filled with a wonderful mixed of secrets, friendship, intrigue, romance, and love. The plot was wonderful, and the words flowed off the pages making me keep turning the pages. I felt so connected to each of the people in the book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
