I like the trope and the characters very much. This book can be read alone, but I am glad I read book one. It gave me a better understanding of Oliver. Emmeline and Oliver made a sweet couple. This story has a few kisses, but no sex. There is love and fondness between the couple, but a lack of passion. I am definitely ready for Jane's and Corbyn's book(s).
