This was so absolutely ridiculously adorable. I suffered some secondhand embarrassment and also wanted to just force the two mains together to solve their issues so I could watch them be precious.

I cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy!

ADORABLE!!! This rom-com really blew me away! I loved following along with Wren as he tried to rescue his local drive-in theater. Reading about how passionate he was made me root for him every step of the way! We also meet Derick, Wren’s childhood crush who’s working at the same theater this summer… a recipe for disaster of course! I loved reading their interactions and the social media posts included throughout were perfect! I got major Red, White, and Royal Blue vibes from this book! Highly recommend for a fun romance that really makes you wish for fun summer nights out at the drive-in! Keep an eye out for release on May 2, 2022!

Christmas wishes do come true!! Huge thank you to Netgalley & Sourcebooks for the ARC.

Wren has never been kissed but he's waiting for his movie perfect kiss of his life. So on the eve of his birthday he sends out pre-drafted emails to all the boys he almost kissed before coming out. And one of them happens to be Derick, who ghosted him back then but is now interning at his drive-thru movie theater. As the summer becomes busy & hazy with a special perfect & saving the drive-thru, sparks fly between Wren & Derick.

Ah! To say that I loved this story is an understatement. This book was a breathe of fresh air with so many hilarious & emotional moments.

I loved Wren with my whole heart. He was so passionate, sensible, funny & supportive. The ways he went above & beyond to save his dream job was commendable.
The side characters aka 3bs were my favorite! They went shoulder to shoulder & helped each other through difficult times.
Especially Alice who should have a book of her own. What a great personality.

And Derick & Wren's relationship was highly dreamy. What started out as best friends back in school went through a lot of bump along the way but it was satisfying to see them leave all those misunderstandings behind & move forward.

A nice, chaste romance that would have specific appeal to readers who understand demisexuality. The characters and their experiences felt a little younger than the ages they are supposed to be, but it's a nice "romance during a summer job" story.
