I did enjoy this book but it isn’t my favourite by this author but I did like Darkly .

I do recommend this .

I love books that are in the H’s POV. Braden Black tells his story to us in Darkly. And what a story it is. You can read this as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading the others in the series first. This is a great book about Skye discovering who she is and what she likes. It’s 5 star steamy 🔥🔥🔥. You won’t be able to put it down once you start.

Although I enjoyed Follow Me Darkly, I loved that Helen Hardt gave us Braden's POV in Darkly. Here we get a birds eye view into his mind and we learn a bit about his past and get an understanding about his nature and the reasons he made some of the decisions he did. This author knows how to capture your attention and Brayden's POV really made the story intriguing as his feelings added so much more depth to the tale. This was an erotic romance from an all male POV and it will have you captivated and totally engrossed. I enjoyed it would recommend it.

Darkly (Follow Me #4) by Helen Hardt is the previous books story told from the perspective of Braden Black. Reading this book made me realize how much I loved this story. The book starts with what brought Braden into Skye's world. This was the beginning of their whirlwind relationship. Now we get to see his struggle with his feelings for Skye. All this is new to him which is a shock to him. He is messed up with the feelings he has never felt before. I didn't realize how much I loved and missed Braden and Skye's relationship. Now I am so looking forward to the final conclusion to their story. And of course I am even more curious as to what happened between Braden and Addison. Each book has eluded to something taken place and what took place was enough to damage their relationship to the point they do not like each other. Hope it is a juicy situation. I am also wondering what effect this story will have on Braden and Skye's relationship. Boy oh boy! A 4 star read for me.

Getting into this man’s head was exactly what I needed but I’m already craving more! This has quickly become my favorite Helen books and if you knew how obsessed with the Steel Brothers I am, you’d know how crazy that is. She draws you into these worlds of hers and it’s like stepping into the story, following like a silent stalker while these very real people live their lives before you. And I cannot get enough!! Seriously, read this series. You won’t regret it.

Absolutely loved reading the story from Braden's POV. It really brought both books together being able to be in his head. We learn more about his past, his preferences and more importantly see his vulnerability. In book one of the series we just get Braden from Skye's POV and he comes off as cold and selfish sometimes but through Darkly we learn why.
It was also scorching hot!!
I hope the author writes all three books in both characters perspective, I think it really adds to the story!

Darkly is Follow me Darkly but written in the point of view of Braden Black. Braden Black is a fiercely take no prisoners gives no Fs Business man and this book tells you exactly that. I truly Enjoyed Follow me Darkly and I enjoyed reading it because Braden wanted Skye more than he wanted to breath and she didn’t know what she was getting her self into but wanted the same. It you enjoyed the first two books you will enjoy reading this one. I’m looking forward to reading what comes next!

It wasn’t until I reached the acknowledgements at the end of this novel that I realized this novel is a different perspective of an already published book by the same author called, “Follow Me Darkly”. Similar to “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Grey” by E.L. James, the original novel was published from the female’s point of view and this subsequent novel is from the male’s perspective.

Without knowing that there was a series that already had been published from the female’s perspective, I really liked how different it was reading this novel from the dominant male’s perspective. For some reason, this style of novel is most commonly written from a submissive female’s perspective so this novel read differently which I enjoyed.

Predictably, this novel is quite steamy. If you want a steamy novel, this is a good one to pick up. However, where the steaminess of this novel levels up, the storyline is somewhat lacking. It’s just okay. There’s nothing spectacular and it’s pretty repetitive to the rich man dominant/submissive female storyline.

Read this for the HOT steam and you won’t be disappointed but don’t expect miracles from he plot and storyline.

I should preface this by saying I really truly enjoy the actual series, that being said- I'm not a fan of retelling the story even from a different view point. There wasn't anything wrong with this, it's just not something I personally like. I find myself skimming paragraphs hoping for something new. And there could have been, I just didn't get engaged enough because of my own preferences to find them.

Darkly follows the story of Follow Me Darkly told from Brayden Black's point of view, and I love everything about it. There is nothing better than getting inside the head of a book boyfriend, and Brayden does not leave one wanting!

Darkly explores this series from Braden’s point of view. I was looking forward to this book greatly because I have so many questions about the elusive Braden.

It was nice to see how Skye completely shook his world. He wasn’t looking for love or a relationship but he caved in to it . He fought his feelings but it still made no difference.

We do get some backstory about Braden, which I desperately needed. However, he is still a mystery. I can’t quite figure how he ticks. Helen, I’m ready for some answers in book four! I need to know Braden better. It’s killing me!

Overall, a great book and super sexy. Book four seems too far away!

It was nice getting Braden's side of the story and seeing what makes him tick. Skye is such an independent person and works really hard so it was nice to know just what drives Braden to be as assertive as he is. In Darkly, you get to see how Braden grew up and hear more about his childhood and the bond he has with his brother. We are still left in the dark about the secret he has with Addison but little pieces are beginning to come together. I've been so in awe of Skye and how she takes charge of her life so it's nice to tead that Braden felt the same way. Can't Wait for the next book in the series so we can hopefully uncover the secret and see if Braden and Skye get their HEA.

I started out on book 4 and was completely able to follow on what was going on.
This is all told from Bradens POV.
Braden becomes obsessed with Skye. He needs her EVERYTHING. He craves it from her. She seems apprehensive and not entirely sure, but her feelings for him allow her to cave.
It’s a wonderful story line!

If you enjoyed Follow Me Darkly where we got Skye’s perspective on the events as they unfolded then reading Darkly that gives us Braden’s perspective is an experience you don’t want to miss. Braden has been an enigma so learning more about the past that shaped him into the man he is was enlightening and enthralling.

With everything we learn about Braden it just leaves us wanting to know more as he faces an inner battle and is uncertain how to handle both his and Skye’s reactions to the feelings they have for each other and how they can find a common ground that will give them both what they need.

Emotion and hot chemistry collide as we get a different look at their relationship, and it leaves us wanting more of this captivating couple.

Zander is the protector and Ella is his to help. His assignment. His job. It should have never gone beyond that. When the job becomes more and they need to hide that is when things become blurred. When the job becomes a hinderance and in the end they both lose.
Lines that were never meant to be crossed because emotions are harder to control than passion. This book gives you excitement, heat and romance. It also leave you on one heck of a cliffer!
Reading on the edge of your seat while biting your nails throughout the book hoping they don’t get caught. The excitement mounts, giving you a thrill ride. A must read!
I can not wait for the second book to come out so that I can get some answers. I need more Zander and Ella!

If you enjoyed Follow me Darkly, you will love Darkly even more! It's the same story but told by Braden Black so in my option it's even better and sexier. I really enjoyed reading in Branden's perspective and even though it's predictable if you've already read the other books there's something special in getting to know Branden better. I love it!
