Braden is this uber rich billionaire who is into the darker side of sex. He thrives off of control. He meets Skye, this upcoming photographer, who works for one of Braden’s old fling. The complexity of that dynamic alone will have you wanting to know more. Skye is very much aware of herself and in control. She hasn’t had much experience with sex but Braden helps her to tap into some of her hidden desires.

I love me some Braden. He knows how to bring the heat. I’m assuming the author created this so we can get a sneak peak into Braden’s head since the previous novels are written in Skye’s POV. If you have read the previous books you know that Braden has so many secrets. To be honest I could have lived without this book because we only learn a little more but there are still too many questions swirling around my head. I want more! I want Braden!

So first, you need to read the other novels in the series to get a better understanding. Sure, you can technically read this book first but you are only getting Braden’s POV. This is just a re-telling of the original story to fill in some of the gaps. I believe the author is coming out with another book this year so hopefully fans of the series will have a better conclusion.

I love Braden and Skye together. He is Alpha and dominant. She is also very strong but yielding. The passion explodes off the pages when they are together. The sex told from his eyes makes it more intense as he craves Skye like no other.

I highly recommend this for fans who want a quick smutty read and love a dom/sub relationship.

We get Bradens POV in this one we get a look into what makes him tick and why he makes some of the decisions he did . This story immediately captivated me and sucked me in Braden is possessive dominant and sexy as hell I love how he appreciates things in life and never forgets where he came from . This story is so addicting it’s steamy sex and definitely erotic but there’s also a story to be told and this author does that beautifully. This was an erotic romance told from an all male POV and it was intriguing captivating and all consuming read ! Definite must read and definite five stars from me !

This is the fourth book in the Follow Me series and it should be read after the first two books. Written from the point of view of Braden, Ms. Hardt has given readers a deep dive into what makes this mogul of a man tick as she shines a light on his backstory. Some may recall the book “Grey” by E. L. James who gave readers Christian’s point of view, and I for one appreciate the different perspective. Adding to the intensity is the development of the love story between Braden and Skye that will have anyone falling hard all over again for these two. If you enjoy your romance reads with a little steam and spice, then this is the book to one click and begin asap. I cannot wait for the next book, Follow Me Always, coming soon! I enjoy reading from a hero's POV, especially someone as enigmatic as Braden. I loved getting some insight of what he was thinking and get to understand him a bit more. With Darkly, I wanted a bit more. I didn't feel we learned more than what we did from the two Follow Me books. It was in a different perspective, but it had the exact same feeling overall. However, I loved the flashbacks when he was a kid. Fans of Follow Me Darkly will enjoy getting inside of Braden's mind.

This was my first foray into erotic literature, and it was spicy. If you are a Fifty Shades fan, you will really like this.

While I don't think there is anything wrong with this book, I don't think this genre is for me. I knew what to expect going in, and came away realizing that this kind of romance isn't for me. That being said, if you do like erotica/BDSM, check this series out.

Darkly by Helen Hardt is an interesting take on the Follow Me series because it's from Braden's point of view. He's such an enigma that it's great to hear his side of events. It's interesting that his internal struggle is even tougher than it seemed with him going against all his hard and fast rules to not get involved.

Braden Black, self-made billionaire, grew up poor and hasn't forgotten the struggles. Skye Manning had a perfectly normal childhood on her family's Kansas farm.. That's what makes her so different than all the beautiful, seemingly sophisticated women who throw themselves at Braden. Her standards and self-worth won't even allow her to throw herself at him and she's not going to accept his rules easily. All this makes her the challenge Braden can't resist.

Much of the story follows what we know from Follow Me Darkly so the plot doesn't change a lot though it is interesting. I enjoyed this couple immensely. As with the other books (I missed Follow Me Always), there's lots of hot sex in this story.

The book still left a lot unanswered and we still don't know Braydon's secrets that make him who his is though we get more hints.

Helen Hardt writes the best addictive romance novels today. I really enjoyed Follow Me Darkly so reading DARKLY and seeing it from Braden Black's perspective was an incredible read for me. This had a great story line that is dark, steamy and completely fun read for romance lovers. The writing is completely captivating and seductive. It was absolutely perfect I read this in one sitting.

I really loved the Follow Me series! Braden and Skye were my go to power couple. And their chemistry in private was off the charts. Digging into Darkly as it is told in Braden's POV bring so much more to his story. It really completes this story. I wouldn't mind reading his POV in the other books. You get in his mindset and I swooned harder for the man.

Darkly is a sensual story where a man falls for a woman. His other half. The one that completes him. You will fall more for Braden as he tells his own story.

This book is the third in the Follow Me Darkly Series. This one your getting the view point of Braden Black. Your back in Follow Me Darkly but your getting to see it through his eyes so it is like reading the book again but so much different. I loved him. This is a guy after all who has worked hard to get to where he is but he makes sure to never ever forget where he came from. However he does hold a lot of secrets. I loved how his attraction to Skye began and how it all played out from his point of view instead of hers. You see so much more of the guy than you did in the previous books and I loved that.

Darkly is the fourth instalment in Helen Hardt’s Follow Me series and the first book telling the story from the point of view (POV) of the hero Braden Black, a self-made billionaire and a dominant in the bedroom. I haven’t read any of the series so far so I came to this book with no idea of what to expect.

Even after finishing this book the character of Braden is still a complete mystery to me. There is a deep dark secret hidden in his past but whether or not that’s at the root of his dominant nature or if it’s something that’s happened as a result of it I’m still in the dark. Whatever it is that has happened he’s a man that doesn’t do meaningful relationships and definitely not the boyfriend/girlfriend variety. It’s more a case of a series mutually beneficial arrangements with like-minded women. That is until he meets Skye Manning. The fact that she doesn’t automatically fall into bed with him only rouses his interest even more. Add in her being a natural submissive albeit one who was totally unaware of that fact and he was hooked. It was enjoyable to read his about his struggle with his feelings as he fell for Skye. Although to be honest, at the end of this book, I feel I know more about the character of Skye than I do Braden but I know I’m definitely intrigued enough to want more and I hope Helen Hardt has plans to publish the entire series from Braden’s POV . Until then I’m off to catch up with the other books to read Skye’s POV.

This is the same story as 'Follow Me Darkly' but told from Baden's point of view. This may be the fourth book in the series but I'd recommend reading it after book one, 'Follow Me Under.'

4.5 stars. This book is the first book in the Follow Me series through the eyes of Braden Black. I really enjoyed seeing through Braden eyes. We get to see more details into his formidable years and what has made him into the billionaire man he is. Watching Braden fall in love and the kink he is slowly introducing to Skye kept me reading. A great start to the series from Braden point of view.

Braden is nothing if not determined. When he sees something he wants, he goes after it. He wants Skye. If you read FollowMe Darkly, you know this story, but to know what Braden is thinking throughout the story, makes it even more interesting. I love knowing what he’s thinking!

Helen Hardt is a must read for me. This series of books are so up my reading alley! There’s something about the dominance angle that I love. Her storylines and characters are real and make you want to jump in feet first and just leave everything behind and read…. Just read.

I will always read whatever Helen Hardt writes. She is just that good.

I was excited when I heard this book was coming out. I loved Braden’s POV. Sigh! I would love his POV for the other books in this series. No spoilers. Highly recommend this series! I was given advance copy for a voluntary review.

If you didn't know, this book is part of the Follow Me Series. Instead of being in Skye’s point of view, one of the main characters, it’s in Braden Black’s point of view. If you know me well and have read my review for the first two books in the Follow Me Series you know I am not a fan of Braden Black. Now, you might be thinking to yourself, “Sara, why are you even reading this book if you don’t like the main character??” I know. It may seem silly, but the second I saw that this book was coming out I knew I needed to read it. I wanted to see, understand and get into Braden’s brain. He’s mysterious, ruthless and persistent. Though I still detest him very much, I really loved reading through his point of view. It really helped me understand him and the logic behind everything he does. I still believe this man is a total jackass, but we see a softer side to him and now know how he truly feels about Skye. I thought this book was great and I’m so glad the author decided to show us Braden’s side to everything. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

I love getting to see what Braden thought and how he felt from when he met Skye until they became more. I devoured Darkly and will be revisiting the Follow Me world again and again. I am sure of that! I love these characters and their journey.

I am newer to Helen Hardt’s writing and I can’t wait to read more by her in the future.

I really enjoy this series, and Darkly is a fantastic and much-needed addition--an addiction, I didn’t even realize I did need. As most series, the male POV comes out on top and I think this book did great things to the original series. It’s a deeper look into Braden’s mind in regards to how he feels about Skye, and why he does what he does. I think it comes at the right time, before book 3, (but can be read anytime), and sets the stage for her books. I wouldn’t oppose the other books in this series being from his perspective.

I was very excited to be offered the opportunity to read an advance copy of Darkly by Helen Hardt and boy am I glad I did! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, having the opportunity to see the story from the eyes of Braden. I appreciated being able to get a glimpse into his perspective, after having only read the story from Skye’s POV. It helped to provide some background and gain a better appreciation for the level of secrecy he possesses.

If you’re looking for a hot, steamy read, this is the book for you. It’s certainly not for the faint of heart! As with most books by this author, I couldn’t put the book down! The story captivated me from the start and pulled me into the dark, stormy relationship between Brayden and Skye. Another awesome book and I can’t wait for the next one!

When I first read FOLLOW ME DARKLY I really enjoyed it but I missed seeing things from Braden's POV since it was only told from Skye's, but now we have Braden's Point of View on everything that was happening and I couldn't be happier!

This was such a great read, I loved every moment of it, from their very first meeting thru them realizing they had fallen for one another. We get the inner workings of this billionaire's mind on so many things and this story reveals a lot of what I had been wondering about. I hope we get more of Braden's point of view on the other books as well.

If you have read Skye's POV you will want to read Braden's and if you haven't started the series I highly recommend that you jump in now because FOLLOW ME ALWAYS will be releasing later this summer.
