I have been anxiously waiting for the final book "Follow Me Always" to come out and when this popped up I immediately had to read it!

This does not come after the 2nd book "Follow Me Under" this is from Braden's view and how he thinks and views things. It is absolutely GLORIOUS!

To be able to see how Skye and Braden's relationship is from his eyes, how he sees her and their relationship was so intoxicating. I found this to be such a romantic read and will definitely be another book to add to my bookshelf.

After reading this book I can see why and what happened with their relationship at the end of book 2. I also can start seeing things from Branden's view and see how he is done with certain things.

Come on book 3 I need to have you now! :)

This book can stand alone but is so much better to read with FOLLOW ME DARKLY, FOLLOW ME UNDER and FOLLOW ME ALWAYS. DARKLY is written in the point of view of Braden Black who is the H to Skye Manning’s h in this series of steamy, delicious stories. Having his perspective of events is instructive.
When 35yo Braden Black, self-made billionaire meets 24yo Skye Manning, you know we’re in for a treat. His immediate attraction and subsequent actions show a man in love but fighting it. But why? What secrets does he hide? Oh. My. Word. If you like scintillating and tantalizing scenes with lots of dirty talk, read this book! Really enjoyed this steamy dom/sub romance novel!

Author Helen Hardt gives us a book from Braden's point of view- the hero from her Follow Me trilogy that is told from the pov of Skye, the heroine. Braden is a billionaire alpha male type, and watching him fall for Skye made me want to read the trilogy! Skye is fantastic, I love how she states her boundaries and doesn't put up with Braden's attitude, which gets harsh and irritating at times.

The smut is great, descriptive and with more flavors than the average romance novel. Braden has a special talent for turning everything into dirty talk, and Skye (and the reader) get's to enjoy his talents.

However, since Braden does want a dominant/submissive relationship, I really needed him to be clearer about safe words and boundaries. He understood that the submissive can always say no, but I really needed him to explain that out loud to Skye, who didn't have any experience with this kind of relationship. Safety first.

Still, I really enjoyed this novel and would definitely read the rest of the series.

Darkly is just wonderful. I loved every moment of Braden's side. You get to know his mind a little more. You get to see the man he is. You get more of how he truly feels for Skye. Braden is simply delicious and you are going to love ever moment of getting into his head some. I love reconnecting with all the best Skye and Braden moments that the Follow Me series has brought so far. This is one sexy read and you should not miss out on getting to know Braden a little better. I loved this and could not put it down.

Darkly is the perfect continuation of one of my favorite book series from Helen Hardt. It's steamy, dark, and addicting!

I am a huge fan of the 'Follow Me' series by Helen Hardt and I was ecstatic when I found out that she wrote a book from Braden's perspective. It was absolutely worth the read.

Braden Black is a fascinating man because of his secretive and mysterious nature. In this book, readers get a chance to see some of his past, get a bit of reasoning behind his dominant nature, and even see the more vulnerable side to the man. I liked reading about scenes from the previous books and understand why he made certain choices and distanced himself from Skye. I love Skye and Braden together and I enjoyed getting to see his vulnerable side and how precious their arrangement is to him. Now, there are still some questions I had including his time with Addison, but the anticipation is perfection!

I give Darkly 5 stars! It's a sensual romance that left me begging for more. Helen Hardt is one of my favorite authors because she knows how to captivate a reader with her words. Braden's perspective is intriguing and seductive and I already want more. For readers who are looking for the next Fifty Shades series, this is the one! I wish this series could be turned into a movie because I am totally invested in this book and series!!

I was so dissapointed when I first read Follow Me Darkly because I had to wait for the next book to be released, but once it was release I was happy again. Therefore,; when I got your email, I was beyond excited! I loved his point of view; it makes me understand him way better in his life style.. you definitely will get more of Braden Black.

I loved the fact that Helen Hardt gave us Braden's POV because for some reason I love reading the male's POV more than I do the females. And Braden's POV surely did not disappoint.

We get to know how Braden felt when he met Skye and how it all started when they first bumped into each other. I loved reading how it all unraveled and how he realized how his feelings for Skye were beyond what he expected or wanted to happen. Braden didn't do relationships but he was willing to give it a try with Skye. She was alluring, sexy, smart and everything he never thought he would end up falling for. She was the perfect package for him. She had everything he looked for in a woman and he certainly loved the fact that she gave him hell in giving up her control in the bedroom. Giving up her control in the bedroom was the first step, he eventually wanted her to give up all control to him.

This series has certainly been very erotic and sensual and there is so much love between these two individuals that I enjoyed reading their story. I can't wait to finish reading this story and how their HEA will end up.

I absolutely love this series, it's definitely a top 2021 read for me!!

OH WOW! What a great story to start back into the blog. I knew when I read the description of this story, it was right up my alley.

It is Braden Black's POV, and I must admit, I didn’t read the first story in the other POV, but Braden is one HOT alpha male with a caring heart. He meets Skye Manning for the first time and knows he must have her. He goes “easy” with her at first. Wants to see if she is ready for the “darker” side of him.

He mentions to her on a date about “punishment” and she is confused. Thinks it is going to hurt, and his line he uses with her is “I don’t like hurting women. Not emotionally. Physically? That’s a different story, as long as the hurt ultimately leads to pleasure for both of us.” Wow...just WOW.

This is a story of the relationship that grows between Braden and Skye. There are still so many unanswered questions in this story…I am hoping they will be answered in the next story or I should read the other series in the other POV. But I am so in love with Braden, I don’t want to do that just yet.

If you love a alpha male story that gets what he wants. This story is for you.

I love reading Braden's POV, I just couldn't put it down. I was totally invested in the story, seeing things from his perspective definitely make you look at him differently and understand where he is coming from. This series is highly addictive, Helen has been able to let us see his vulnerability, his strong backbone, and the way his feelings evolve for Skye. I can not wait to read more.

And here I though that there wasn't anything more of Braden Black for me to love. But leave it to Helen Hardt to prove me wrong!

In this book we get Braden's perspective of the story. You would have thought I hadn't read the story before with the way I was swooning and crushing on Braden! I was riveted, once again completely invested in his story. From the moment he first laid eyes on Skye to the moment he came to realize how deeply he had fallen for her, Braden Black never failed to surprise me. I enjoyed learning about his past, his family and his business. Seeing him in different environments and how he interacted with the different people he came upon, showed him to be a multi-faceted person who made someone of himself but never forgot where he came from or the people who have always been there for him. I loved seeing all these sides to him and having him telling his story gave me insight into some things that happened book 2.

Of course, it was hot reading his side of the story (as expected!)🔥 but for me it was so much more than that. I could finally see some vulnerability, a chink in his armor you might say. IDK, I just fell in love with him all over again. And well, I am much more invested in the outcome of this romance that I was previously was.

Fantastic writing, great insight into the man Braden is and an even more erotic side of the story. All in all, a must read for any Braden Black fan.

Oh what an addictively, enticing addition of the Follow Me series, strictly Braden Black! Helen’s ability to mesmerize and engulf my emotions right from the beginning with Braden’s hunger and desire for Skye, will leave you anxious to turn the page. I am still mesmerized by their attraction to one another, their instant connection, and the ability to finally understand Braden’s feelings towards Skye continuously enhancing, developing the inevitable. It was one thing to read these stories from Skye’s point of view, but to finally be able to witness and learn what was going on inside Braden’s head is a completely different level of magnificent divinity. While continuing Skye’s interpretation of events, I am hoping to experience more of Braden’s mind and control!

I loved loved loved getting Braden’s POV finally on his and Skyes relationship and I devoured it. I enjoyed Follow Me Darkly but I loved this so much more cause the dynamic changed from her to him

I actually had no idea that we were getting a book from Braden's POV, but I was already so invested in this series...of course, I had snag this one.

I wasn't sure how I felt about getting a book from Braden's perspective, but everything that I assumed about him matched up pretty well. There's still the big secret that I've been eager to know since book 1, I was hoping for even a glimpse of what happened between him and Addison.

I did enjoy the softer side of Braden that Skye brought out of him. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and fans of Braden will absolutely love this one.

Having read Helen Hardt's Steel Brothers Saga and Blood Bond Saga, I was interested to dive into the Follow Me Books. But of course I started out of order with book 4, Darkly, which is written from Brandon Blacks perspective. The reader learns Braden especially doesn't appreciate when he's denied what he wants, especially with women.

In the Follow Me Series, he meets his match in Skye Manning, who gives him a run for his money with control in his bedroom. Together, they challenge each other on and off the sheets, but he wants more. He wants her TOTAL control to feed his dark fantasies.

Keeping with Hardt's previous books, Darkly doesn't shy away from love making. Every chapter details some level of Braden's carnal cravings. The reader shouldn't be shocked at the language, descriptions and toys in their fornication, especially if you have read Book 1 or 2 in the Follow Me Series.

I' believe Darkly can be read prior to reading Book 1, Follow Me Darkly. So I guess I will adding new books to my to be read pile to get caught-up on the series prior to Book 3's release in July.

Scorching hot!! Braden’s POV of Follow Me Darkly (Follow Me Book 1 series). I know it’s recommended to read Darkly after you’ve read the first two books of this series; but I’ve only read the first book and I LOVED reading Darkly before I’ve read the second book, Follow Me Under. Reading how Skye and Braden met from Braden’s POV after reading Skye’s POV works for my brain. I’ve now got the second book queued up to read and can’t wait for the final book to release later this month.

Darkly by Helen Hardt is the third book in the Follow Me series but it does not take place after the events of Follow Me Under. Instead, we are given Braden Black's perspective during the events of Follow Me Darkly and how he met and fell in love with Skye Manning. I did not expect to get my heart broken but it did anyway. It felt like I went back in time and witnessed Braden and Skye's blossoming relationship and love story. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that their relationship, specifically following the events of Follow Me Under, is in tatters. Skye loses her identity and control for Braden but at the cost of everything including her relationship with him.

I have been wanting Braden Black's point of view ever since I read Follow Me Darkly. He was always so mysterious, controlling, and evasive about his past relationships. He is still secretive and refuses to talk about his past but we are able to understand him and see the depth of his obsession with Skye a lot clearer in Darkly. He truly did fall in love with her. This book added a much needed layer and depth to the first book because we are given glimpses of Braden's past, his feelings for Skye, and what he did when he was away from her. It had all of the conversations from the first book in addition to new scenes between Braden and his brother, Ben. I still wanted to smack Braden for hurting and distancing himself from Skye. Ironically, he was also torturing himself while trying to figure out his feelings for her.

In the end, Darkly is the perfect companion book to Follow Me Darkly. It was sensual, erotic, romantic, and even heartbreaking if you are caught up in the series and know what happened between Braden and Skye. I enjoyed this book and will be looking forward to seeing how it will all end in Follow Me Always. I loved traveling back in time and seeing how they met and eventually fell in love. There was almost a sweet quality to it. Of course, Braden and Skye are incredibly sexy together as well and their love scenes were scorching hot. Fans of Helen Hardt and the Follow Me series will definitely appreciate this latest installment!
