It was a cozy read. I liked that It was not overly Christmas themed. I must admit I liked the 2 first stories the best, because they felt more connected. to each othe.r. Thank you to netgalley for letting me read this e arc in exchange for an honest opinion.
This is three Amish love stories by three different authors but all feature the Bakeshop in the title in each story. It was a unique take on the subject and I enjoyed it for that reason and also because all of these authors write fun stories. If you want some light reading that you can complete in 3 sittings and you like Christmas stories, this book is for you.
I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
Shelley Shepard Gray is my favorite Amish author and I will snatch up anything she writes.. The Christmas theme is an extra bonus!
I loved this book! Definite 5 star read for me. There are three short stories included in this book. The messages of love, forgiveness and happiness in these book are amazing. If you like amish fiction, christian fiction and romance this one's for you. Thanks to NetGalley, Shelley Shepard Gray, Rachel J Good, and Loree Laugh for giving me the opportunity to review this arc.
This book is a wholesome compilation of stories of a group of Amish women who work at a bakery during the Christmas season. Each story focuses on a different person, but all the stories weave together in little ways. I enjoyed reading the sweet stories. They all have just Christmas sprinkled in to know it is the holiday, but it doesn’t overwhelm you with it either.
Don’t let the title fool you about it being Christmas time. You can read this book anytime of the year and still enjoy it. All 3 authors bring their own touch and thoughtfulness to their stories as the young ladies not only find joy in baking, but also in romance. The stories are lighthearted and clean and you will enjoy them all very much. Nice for short reads when you have limited time.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for my review and honest opinion.
All three of these stories were wonderful. I liked how the first two followed each other. They might have taken place at Christmas but that was not the underlying theme. A cozy read anytime
