An interesting story but I struggled to get through the book I became distracted and it was hard to follow.

Let me preface that the story line of this book isn't horrible. It is the writing that I really struggled with. In fact, I had to start/restart this book 4 times. Had I not committed to reviewing it, I would have abandoned it. I also felt an instability to the writing pattern that makes it very difficult to follow unless a reader is paying very close attention to the story. This is partly seen in a "skipping" feeling or a jumping around. Now, this was the ARC and it would be interesting to see the finished product that has gone through the final editing process, but as is, I would tell readers to pass.
