First Date Stories by Jodi Klein is a collection of stories taken from the true to life accounts of various women who are on a personal journey to find love later in life. Each story is accompanied by an inspirational quote, a follow-up on what transpired after the date, and the takeaways from the social discourse, both positive and negative. Each offers a glimpse into the hopes, fears, and frustrations that we all harbour while dating in mid-life, and the information provided serves to embrace the commonality and relevance of these encounters.
This book is sure to be of benefit to anyone who is hesitant to put themselves out there in the search for human connection and love.
Many thanks to NetGalley and She Writes Press for an ARC.
A collection of eleven short stories with some of the best practical advice to follow mainly considering safety and not forcing ourselves to date because we date if this makes sense. It will do when you read these stories.
No, no one is blaming anyone for the failure or success of any of these dates. These scenarios just give a realistic situation in each of them that we can actually look through and decide for ourselves what could go right and what might go wrong.
I thoroughly enjoyed each story.
You can read this to take some practical tips and advice when it comes to dating. It's actually wholesome.
My most favourite is the Traffic Trifecta.
