A memorable SF thriller for teens that wears extremely well. I did not, initially, like the protagonist much. But to say Tori grew on me is to put it mildly. You will note I've gone from four stars to five. That's because this is a story, and a character, that really stayed with me. Also, Tori is ace, and that's still rare in YA fiction.

I really loved the first book, Ultraviolet and it was the strength of that book that made me request this book. I was really quite excited. However, by the time I downloaded this book and sat down to read it I found that so much of the momentum and excitement from the first book was lost and I had no interest in continuing with it. Very disappointing.
