The Blackmailer's Guide to Love by Marian Thurm is an exquisite journey back in time to the literary world of NYC in the '70s, particularly The New Yorker. Mel and her husband Charlie both act as narrators and the mysteries they uncover about marriage and love and fidelity propel the story.

Many thanks to the author, narrator, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me. All thoughts are my own.
